The remaining juice was restocked accordingly.

After replenishing, Su Yue made notes for record-keeping.

At the end of the day, the cart would perform inventory checks and reconcile accounts.Full novel: Exiled to a Desolate Planet I Farm and Raise Children in the Interstellar World — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

If there were mistakes, the staff would be held responsible.

Once the stock was replenished, Su Yue called Di Kun to head home.

It was already 10:40 a.m.—time to prepare lunch.

Di Kun went down to the basement to help, also calling the household robot to assist Su Yue.

In the sunroom, Di Kun spoke with Su Yi about Su Yue and their little baby.

Talking about the baby warmed the man’s entire demeanor.

“I want to see the baby too! Next time, I’ll go with Yue Yue to the hospital!” Su Yi said a little sulkily.

Di Kun glanced at his brother-in-law.

“No need to wait for next time. Let’s make more juice to sell, save enough for a medical pod, and then you can see the baby at home.”

“Also, Big Brother, I’ll let you handle the juice deliveries to the cart in the future. How about that?”

Su Yi looked puzzled.

Di Kun explained the cart operations to Su Yi.

After hearing, Su Yi was worried about whether he could do the job properly.

“Don’t worry. This afternoon, we’ll go restock at Wu Bian Square. I’ll take you a couple of times, and you’ll know exactly what to do.”

“Oh,” Su Yi replied, still concerned but agreeing nonetheless.

Before the afternoon arrived, at 11:30 a.m., Su Yue received a call for restocking.

Di Kun took Su Yi with him to make the delivery.

By the time they returned, it was just in time for lunch.

That afternoon, Su Yue wanted to go out with Di Kun to gather supplies, but he refused.

“You already went out once this morning. Stay in this afternoon.”

“Take a nap first. If you still feel restless afterward, you can help cook with the household robot.”

“You mentioned wanting to make dumplings earlier; I’ve been craving them,” Di Kun said, looking longingly.

Back on the frontlines, he had rarely had dumplings.

In the palace, he had eaten them only during the New Year.

Hearing Di Kun express this, Su Yi’s mouth also watered.

“Right, Yue Yue, go rest. After your nap, make us something delicious!”

Su Yue had no choice but to comply.

After all, the doctor had advised her to rest, and napping was good for the baby.

Su Yue returned to her room and immediately fell asleep on her beloved big bed.

Meanwhile, Di Kun and Su Yi continued making juice in the sunroom.

At Wu Bian Square, restocking requests went directly to Su Yi.

After a couple of trips with Di Kun, Su Yi became confident enough to handle deliveries alone.

He even developed a sense of responsibility and pride in the task.

Su Yue slept deeply and woke up at 4:00 p.m.

Though it was already late for dinner, she still called the household robot to help knead dough, roll wrappers, and make dumplings.

She always cooked in large batches, storing some in her space for later.

Today, she could cheat a bit by taking out pre-made meals for everyone to eat while she worked on dumplings.

Although the stored meals would decrease, it wouldn’t affect her dumpling-making plans.

Thinking about stockpiling food added some pressure.

She was the only one cooking, and with two big eaters at home, she needed to make plenty.

After giving birth, she would be on maternity rest—she couldn’t cook every day then.

Eating out wasn’t ideal—restaurants were expensive and couldn’t match her homemade meals.

She also wanted to plan her postpartum meals ahead, considering dietary restrictions.

But for now, she focused on the dumplings.

She set the household robot to play pregnancy knowledge lessons and got to work.

Dumpling wrappers didn’t require fermentation, making the process relatively simple.

Su Yue taught the robot to knead and roll the dough.

The robot’s learning and imitation abilities were excellent—it learned after just one demonstration.

Su Yue assigned the kneading and rolling tasks to the robot and prepared the fillings herself.

She planned to make several varieties:

Thanks to the kitchen’s advanced appliances, preparing the fillings was easy.

Cooking the fillings required her hands-on attention for seasoning and stirring.

After about twenty minutes, all the fillings were ready.

Su Yue took out the dumpling trays she had bought in advance.

These trays were designed for dumplings, each with 50 slots.

They could stack into sets of six, forming a large rectangular storage box.

Seeing the robot ready to fetch more dough, Su Yue stopped it and had it learn dumpling-making from her.

Folding dumplings wasn’t complicated, and the robot worked quickly.

Su Yue eventually handed all dumpling assembly to the robot.

By 5:30 p.m., she was ready to call the basement and announce dinner.

In the sunroom, the lights were on.

Di Kun and Su Yi had spent the afternoon making a large batch of mango juice—their focus all day.

Di Kun had decided this because customers preferred mango juice over the other two flavors.

Some repeat customers bought multiple cups at once if mango juice was available.

To increase sales, Di Kun had chosen to make extra mango juice.

He even went out with Su Yi to buy supplies—raincoats, rain boots, hoses, dryers, knives, etc.—using the funds Su Yue had previously transferred to Su Yi.

When Su Yue entered the sunroom, she saw the floor wet and covered in yellow mango juice.

Both men wore raincoats and rain boots while cutting mangoes larger than basketballs.

Juice poured out abundantly with each cut.

Long hours had left the floor slick with juice.
