The moment Sunny stepped into the room, Hazel knew something terrible was about to happen.

The air suddenly became cold.

The candles around the room went out one after another, leaving only the faint red light coming from the symbols on the black crystal coffin.Full novel: Fated To The Cursed Werewolf King — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Sunny smiled as two witches immediately rushed toward Hazel.

Hazel stepped back in fear.

“No!” One of them grabbed her arm and tried to pull her away from the coffin.

Hazel struggled.

“Let me go!”

“You really thought you could come here and wake him up?” the witch sneered.

Hazel pushed her away, but another witch grabbed her from behind.

At the same time, loud sounds came from outside the room.

BOOM!

The entire palace shook.

A wolf howled, then another.

The witches turned around in shock.

Several werewolves suddenly rushed into the palace, attacking the dark witches.

Claws flashed, and Swords clashed.

The quiet palace instantly became a battlefield.

“Protect Lady Hazel!” someone shouted.

Hazel stared in disbelief.

Werewolves and witches were fighting everywhere.

One of the witches threw a powerful spell across the room, sending two wolves crashing into the wall.

Another wolf jumped on her before she could attack again.

The fight became even more chaotic.

Hazel tried to run toward the coffin, but the witch holding her pulled her backwards.

“You’re not going anywhere, you weak dog!”

Hazel gritted her teeth.

She remembered Ryan’s training session he had forced her to do.

“Don’t depend on your strength alone, Hazel. Use your opponent’s strength against them.”

Hazel took a deep breath.

When the witch pulled her again, Hazel suddenly turned her body and used the witch’s own force against her.

The witch stumbled, and she kicked her in the stomach.

BAM!

The witch flew backwards.

Hazel froze.

She stared at her own foot in awe “Did… did I just do that?”

The witch slowly stood up, looking furious.

“You little—!” She rushed toward Hazel.

Hazel quickly ducked.

The witch’s hand passed over her head.

Hazel grabbed her arm and twisted it.

The witch cried out in pain.

Hazel couldn’t believe herself.

Ryan’s training was actually working.

But right now, she wasn’t thinking about being weak.

She was thinking about surviving.

The witch kicked her away.

Hazel fell hard onto the floor.

Before she could get up, the witch grabbed her by the hair.

You’re coming with me!”

“Ouch!

Too painful!

Hazel held the witch’s hand and struggled.

Then suddenly, a blue flame hit the witch.

She was thrown across the room.

Hazel looked up and sighed at Rita, who stood in the doorway.

Her red hair was flying around her face, and her eyes were glowing bright blue.

She looked nothing like the annoying girl from earlier.

She looked dangerous.

Sunny stepped forward and sneered.

“So, you finally decided to show yourself, huh?”

Rita smiled.

“I was wondering when you would stop hiding behind your little soldiers.”

Sunny’s face darkened.

“You should be on our side, Rita.”

Rita laughed.

“Why would I? Give me a good reason, bastard”

“Because you’re a witch!”

“And?” She raised a brow and used her flame to make a sword that sparked like electricity.

Sunny frowned.

“You belong with us.”

Rita’s smile became wider.

“Seem you are too dumb to know the difference between dark witches and light Witches?” She positioned the sword in the air and told it’s bottom very tight.

Blue energy that surrounded it became brighter.

“The light witches are good witches too.” Her eyes became even brighter.

“And believe me…”

She stepped forward carefully.

“We are usually the most powerful ones because of your pure souls.”

Sunny’s expression changed, and black smoke energy started coming from her hands.

Rita suddenly disappeared.

A second later, she appeared behind Sunny; she flew high and cut her with the sword…

Sunny helped her bloody shoulder, not giving her time to fight back.

Rita grabbed her and threw her across the room.

Sunny crashed into a pillar.

The old palace shook again.

” I will kill you !!” Sunny screamed and released a powerful dark spell.

The two witches immediately began serious fighting.

Hazel stared for a second before remembering why she was there.

The coffin!!!

She quickly ran toward it.

But another witch appeared in front of her.

“You’re not touching that coffin. Are you deaf?”

Hazel stopped.

The witch raised her hand.

A dark force pushed Hazel backwards.

She landed on the floor.

“Get away from him!”

Hazel crawled backwards.

The witch walked toward her.

“You don’t even understand what you’re doing. If you wake him, this entire world will suffer.”

Hazel looked at the coffin.

Then she looked at the witch.

“I don’t care.” She slowly stood up.

“I don’t know why the Moon Goddess chose me.”

Her eyes became determined.

“But I’m going to finish this.” She crawled forward, dragging the witch who held her leg with her, until her free hand touched the cold black glass of the coffin.

With a desperate push, she lifted the heavy lid.

The moment the coffin opened, the whole room seemed to go quiet for a second.

Inside lay a man who looked like he had never aged a single day.

His face was unbelievably handsome, with sharp features and long eyelashes resting peacefully against his cheeks.

His skin was pure snow-white, smooth and perfect.

His slim hand crossed around his chest, with his beautiful, long and slim fingers on each shoulder.

His extremely long white hair was neatly combed and spread around his shoulders like soft silk.

He wore dark royal clothes with silver threads that still shone after two hundred years.

His face looked peaceful, almost angelic, as if he was only sleeping.

Hazel swallowed “Oh wow…” Hazel whispered.

“Do it now!!” Rita shouted from across the room.

Before Rita could say more, another powerful witch appeared behind her and wrapped a dark energy rope around her neck.

Rita’s blue eyes became brighter as she was lifted off the ground and choked hard.

Hazel had no more time.

She held her cut palm over Caius’s mouth.

Bright red drops of her blood fell between his lips and slid inside.

A strong invisible force suddenly slammed into her back.

She was thrown across the floor and hit the wall hard.

Pain shot through her body.

The enemy witch who had pushed her stood over her with a cruel smile.

But it was already too late.

Inside the open coffin, the man’s fingers began to move.

His long white eyelashes trembled, and slowly, his eyes opened.

They glowed with a deep, powerful golden light.
