The attendants guided Alex and Wolfe deeper underground, toward the storage section.
Inside, Alex could see all the items that had been displayed during the auction….even the people…all in cages.
Wolfe finally reached the man in the nice tie who had presented the show earlier.
“Mayor Wolfe….
It’s an honor today that not only did you win the highest sought-after item, but all the items you presented today sold excellently!” said the man, shaking Wolfe’s hand.
“I’m proud of that myself, Harper…
But let’s not dwell on that.
Where is the girl?
I want to see my future breeding stock,” said Wolfe.
Harper smiled and snapped his fingers.
A few men came out pushing the cell she was on…it had wheels underneath…and it was covered.
Harper smiled and removed the cover, revealing the little Amazonian girl.
“There you are….
We estimated her age to be twelve…

You’ll have to work hard to make her subservient,” said Harper.
Wolfe’s mouth was watering with joy as he moved closer, looking at her.

The truck was very well reinforced, massive, and clear.
Inside there were four workers, Briggs, and Alex.
The truck was disguised from the outside to appear as a regular transportation truck.
“You two…
Wolfe’s men, right?
One of you get in the back, one in the front,” said the man leading the transportation.
“Yes, sir…
I’m getting in the front.
Briggs will be in the back,” said Alex.
The man nodded.
“Alright, get ready.”
Briggs turned to Alex.
“Hey!
I wanted to get in the front!”
“Sorry, Briggs, I don’t like closed spaces!
Just relax, alright,” said Alex, tapping his back.
He went to get inside the truck.
He and three others were in the front…the driver, the man sitting next to him, Alex, and another man sitting behind
In the back, Briggs got in with another man to sit with the cargo.
‘I’m inside the truck transporting the girl.
As soon as I leave…
rain hell over there.
Save anyone, and destroy the weapons and magical items….taking them with us is a risk I’m not willing to take.
We don’t know what kind of tracking they have.
Then escape…
I’ll take care of things here,’ Alex sent a mental note to Medusa and Medea, who awaited his orders hidden inside the storage room of the mysterious organization’s auction.

As the truck moved, Alex looked around him, trying to see where they were going.
It didn’t take long for the truck to finally move outside the city….where the roads started to clear.
‘I’m starting the attack now…
Give them hell, girls,’ Alex sent mentally to the girls.
Then he activated his tracking chip, looked at the driver in front of him, and said, “So how long before we get there?”
“What?
Isn’t this your base?
Can’t you fucking tell?” said the driver.
“I don’t drive, man!
I don’t usually pay attention.
Besides, I usually ride in cars, not in a truck….this is clearly slower,” said Alex.
“We’re moving slowly to protect the cargo,” said the man beside the driver.
He sighed and said, “Just relax, okay.
We still have an hour or so before we get there.”

Okay, yeah,” said Alex as he sat back in his seat.
And then…in an instant…he pulled his pistol, shot the man next to the driver, and instantly the man to his right, both in the head, in quick succession.
He instantly pointed his gun to the driver’s head and said, “You either pull over or I shoot your ass too…
NOW.”
The driver panicked and moved his hand to press a button to the side, but Alex instantly shot the hand and shouted, “LAST FUCKING WARNING!
PULL OVER OR I SHOOT YOU AND TRY TO SURVIVE ON MY OWN!”
“AGHHHHHHHHHH okay!
okay!” The driver panicked and instantly hit the brakes, trying to destabilize Alex.
But he was prepared….as the truck suddenly stopped, he anchored himself with his foot on the dash and instantly shot the driver in the head.
“Should have listened…” said Alex as he opened the door and jumped out of the truck.
He picked up a few guns from the dead bodies and started shooting in the air…ten shots….then leaned on the back of the truck.
“BRIGGS!
BRIGGS!
COME OUT NOW!
WE’RE BEING ATTACKED!” shouted Alex as he shot a few more bullets in the air.
“JENSEN!
What the fuck, man!
What’s going on?” said Briggs.
“You!
Where’s the others?” asked the one inside with Briggs.
Alex shot more bullets and said, “One of us is dead, the others are holding them back!
We need backup!
HOW DID THIS HAPPEN!
DIDN’T YOU SAY NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT THE CARGO!” shouted Alex.
“God damn it!
They must have fucked up.
Open the door!
We gotta help them!” said Briggs.
“Wait!
That’s not procedure!” said the man.
“FUCK YOUR PROCEDURE, MAN!
OPEN UP!”
Alex shot more.
“FUCK, I’M HIT!”
“OPEN UP, MAN!”
“Fuck,” said the man inside as he rolled up the back door.
As soon as he did, Alex grinned and shot Briggs and the man immediately in the head.
‘Amunet, you close?’ said Alex on the comms as he jumped on the back of the truck.
‘Yes, sir…
We’ll be there in five minutes,’ said Amunet.
‘Good.
I’m freeing the girl.
Don’t take too long,’ said Alex as he shot the cage door.
“YOU!
I WILL KILL YOU!” shouted the girl inside.
“Relax, darling, I’m here to save you,” said Alex, as his disguise of Jensen finally undid itself.
“See?
I’m not one of them.
I’m here to help you, okay?
I’m gonna release you now…
Don’t attack me.”
“You promise!” she said.
“I promise.
Okay, just don’t attack.
I know you’re strong and all that, but trust me, I wouldn’t be doing this if I wasn’t here to help.
I’ll even get you back to Wonder Woman…

Yeah, okay, I’ll trust you,” said the girl.
“Now close your eyes…I’m about to shoot these chains,” said Alex.
The girl closed her eyes.
He shot the first chain, but the bullet did nothing.
“Fuck…
This won’t work…”
“Give me a second.
I’ll see if one of them has a key,” said Alex as he jumped back out and searched them.
Finally, he found a key.
He went back and used it on the chain, releasing her left arm.
“It worked.”
He opened the rest of her locks as the girl jumped back instantly, sizing him up.
“WHO ARE YOU!” she said.
“Just a friend, okay?
Call me Black.
I’m just here to help!
Okay, relax.
Backup is coming,” said Alex.
“How can I trust you!” she asked.
“Well…
you can’t!
But you have to have faith.
If I wasn’t here to help, I would have kept you in the cage…

So relax…” said Alex.
She dropped her guard a bit as Alex walked toward her.
“Come…
Let’s get out of here.” She looked at him, suspicious, then grabbed his hands.
“What’s your name?” he asked.
“Me?
Oh…
I’m Cassie…
Cassandra Sandmark,” said Cassie.
“Okay, Cassie.
Let’s get you out of here,” said Alex as they jumped off the back of the truck.
A car pulled over.
Amunet got out.
“Sir!
You’re already done?” she asked.
“Yes…
Plant the body of Jensen and let’s go,” said Alex.
“Yes, sir.” She walked to the trunk of her car, pulled the body of Jensen….which Alex had been pretending to be…and placed it in the front, shot in the head.
Alex guided Cassie to sit in the back of the car.
Amunet returned and got in the driver’s seat.
“Let’s go,” said Alex.
As he sent a mental message to Medusa: ‘I’m done here…
What about you girls?’
‘We’ve released a few people, but we’re about to be facing a few slaves they have…
The one known as Livewire, and two others,’ said Medusa.
‘Okay…
Make sure you’re safe…
