"Don't get angry, don't get angry, it's not good for the baby!"

After being rebuked twice, a trace of hostility flashed in Li Jing's eyes, but he quickly returned to normal, putting on a smile and admitting his mistake.

Xia Wen said coldly.

Li Jing's face stiffened, and he didn't say a word.

"It's already affecting the child, what are you thinking? Hurry up and get rid of it!" Ye Yingzi pushed Li Jing with annoyance.

"Okay, okay, I'll go home and send 'Xiao Bao' away!" Li Jing reluctantly walked out.

While they were arguing, I quietly took out the Ghost Eye Paste, poured out a drop, rubbed it, and applied it to my eyes.

Looking at Li Jing again, there was a noticeable dark aura between his eyebrows, and his eye sockets were slightly darkened.

Raising a little ghost to such a heavy yin presence, he probably used blood to nourish it.

But I didn't say anything; whether he lives or dies is none of my business.

"Little Feng, tell me honestly, how much does that ghost Li Jing is raising affect Sister Wen?"

As soon as Li Jing left, Ye Yingzi asked directly.

Xia Wen didn't speak, but her eyes betrayed her; she wanted to know too.

Ye Yingzi was quite the spokesperson.

"At the moment, the impact isn't too big, but if she continues to stay with that thing, it's uncertain!" I said.

"That's good, that's good!"

Before Xia Wen could say anything, Ye Yingzi breathed a sigh of relief.

"Sister Wen, I'll prescribe some medicine for you to take for half a month. Come back to me after that, and I'll check your pulse and adjust the prescription!"

"Two courses should be enough, but remember, you must get rid of the thing Li Jing is raising. Even if you don't, you can't live with it!"

"Okay, I understand!" Xia Wen nodded.

Next, I checked Ye Yingzi's pulse and adjusted her prescription.

Ten minutes later, the two of them left.

For the next half month, I had a peaceful time with nothing much happening.

Xia Wen came by again, and I adjusted her prescription.

Bai Xue and her daughter came for acupuncture every day.

During this time, I also met Li Li once.

Li Li had resumed her studies.

Now, Li Li showed no signs of her previous illness.

After more than half a month of recovery, her face had filled out, and her complexion returned to normal, not the previous pallor, but a noble pearl white.

Perhaps due to the twice-daily acupuncture sessions over the past half month, she was very close to me, calling me Brother Shisan instead of Mr. Feng or Doctor Feng. Find the original chapter at novelping.com.

After meeting her, I felt much better.

After this meeting, I called Mr. Li to tell him that Li Li was fine.

I thought that there would be no further interactions between Li Li and me unless she remembered that tragic experience.

But unexpectedly, less than a month after that call, I saw Mr. Li again.

That evening, I was contemplating calling Fatty Lin to urge him. It had been over a month, and the Beifeng Ghost-Slaying Seal was still not completed.

Knowing him, he must be frequenting Da Fuhao, treating it like home.

He wouldn't do any proper work until he squandered all the money he earned from Bai Xue.

Just as I was about to call, my phone rang. It was Mr. Li.

My heart tightened. Could it be that something happened to Li Li?

"Mr. Li?"

I answered first.

"Mr. Feng, are you at the shop?"

Mr. Li asked.

"I am. Did something happen to Li Li?" I asked hurriedly.

"Pack up your acupuncture tools. I'll send a car to pick you up," Mr. Li said.

"Okay, okay, I'll pack right away!" I said.

After hanging up, I quickly packed my things, convinced that something had happened to Li Li.

Normally, she shouldn't remember that experience so soon. I suspected Li Bao had made a move.

Twenty minutes later, the car arrived to pick me up.

To my surprise, both the car and the driver had changed.

Last time it was an Audi, this time it was a top-of-the-line Mercedes.

The license plate was quite impressive, all the same digits.

Mr. Li indeed had money, but in the capital, some things can't be bought with money, like this license plate.

Even Mr. Yang couldn't get this license plate.

With doubts in my mind, I followed the driver into the car.

No matter how I probed, the driver only said, "You'll know when you get there."

This answer made me uneasy.

As the car drove on, I became increasingly certain that this visit was not simple.

Twenty minutes later, the car entered a high-end villa area near Chaoyang Park.

Once there, I was invited out of the car, feeling a bit confused.

Mr. Li indeed had money, but like the license plate, buying a villa in this neighborhood wasn't just about money.

Mr. Li didn't have that kind of influence.

If it were Mr. Li's deceased elder brother, it might be possible.

With a belly full of doubts, I was led into the villa.

Inside, I immediately saw Mr. Li kneeling like a dog on the ground and Li Li standing to the side, tears in her eyes and a slap mark on her face.

Opposite Mr. Li sat a middle-aged man, with a woman dressed somewhat provocatively beside him.

Upon entering, both of them scrutinized me.

The man's gaze carried a hint of inquiry, while the woman's held a trace of hope, similar to when Mr. Li introduced me to Li Li.

"Are you Feng Shisan?"

After sizing me up for a while, the man spoke.

"Yes, I am Feng Shisan," I nodded calmly.

"You know acupuncture? Can you treat mental illnesses?"

Before the man could ask more, the woman couldn't wait to speak.

The man frowned, a bit displeased, but said nothing.

"Traditional Daoist medicine, specializing in mental illnesses," I replied.

"My son is ill. Can you treat him?"

Hearing this, the woman stood up immediately.

"Whether I can treat him or not, at least let me see the patient first," I said with a smile.

"Mrs. Chen, Mrs. Chen, take him upstairs to check the young master's pulse!"

The woman raised her voice and called out.

Soon, a woman in her fifties came out from a small hall nearby and said to me, "Mr. Feng, I'll take you upstairs."

"Alright."

I nodded calmly and followed the woman called Mrs. Chen upstairs.

"Not sure about his medical skills, but he's got guts!"

The man stood up at this point, nodded to the woman beside him, and said, "Let's go upstairs and take a look too."

I didn't say anything. This person had quite the presence, but I didn't know which family he belonged to.

Regardless of which family, just from the license plate and this villa, and the fact that he could make Mr. Li kneel without a word, it was clear his identity was not simple.
