Illiana woke first and entertained herself greatly by tracing the curve of Cinder’s coal-black ram horns that perfectly encircled her pointed ears. There was a temptation to do far more. Those big black nipples called out to be tweaked. Her new lower hands itched to be used. It would be so easy to wake Cinder in the same way they fell asleep, before she really grappled with what had happened to her body. But if they pushed it too far, they’d have to make their den here. If she wanted to make sure that terrible man faded from human memory, she’d have to wait.
A small growl escaped her throat as she flicked the thought away. It hadn’t been hers. Or rather, wasn’t the old Illiana’s thought. It was part of her that had been entombed with the Archmage, the ancient Glitch Saber. She wasn’t entirely sold on the ghost’s idea of revenge, although it could be fun. If they created the Den next to the wizard tower, would it be enough to overwhelm the wards? Or would that be asking for kill joys to hunt her for her hide? Death had dulled her coat considerably. Her old self had been powerful enough that she’d walked among the stars themselves. She was a long way from doing that again, even if she could recall how. Memories of her Glitch Saber self were foggy, reduced to shadow plays. Only the memory of her death and oddly, the worshipful goblin were crystal clear.
She chided herself to stop digging into those memories, but old Illiana was always a power hungry little bitch. Now, she wasn’t so little anymore. She was at least a head taller than Cinder, for now. They’d have to see what happened. For the moment she was content to enjoy the deepening of Cinder’s cinnamon scent. It had gained the slightest trace of sulphur but there were worse things.
Illiana gave in to the urge to groom her mate, kissing the top of Cinder’s horns with her rough tongue. This produced the cutest little groans as those eyelids fluttered before slowly opening.
“Uuuuh. I did the fisting,” she moaned as rubbed one eye. “Why does it feel like I’m the one who got runover by a runaway wagon?”
“I have absolutely no idea,” Illiana smirked, looking down Cinder’s curvy body as her slender tail. The tip, which looked to have a small stinger on it, curled and uncurled lazily. In contrast, Illiana’s tail twitched excitedly as she waited for the explosion.
Cinder hand rose to touch her hair and collided with a horn. Her entire body froze as her black eyes widened. Slowly, mechanically, fingers extended to touch the black bone that extended from her skull.
“I think they’re pretty.” Illiana said with a sunny, yet toothy grin.
“Shiiiiiiiiiite.” Cinder jumped up to her feet, cursing further as she explored her body and catalogued all the changes. Illiana folded her top hands behind her head and enjoyed the show. “A tail? You gotta be kidding me!”
“I’m not complaining. Looks all devilishly good.” Illiana said.
“This isn’t funny!” Cinder hissed, her tail whipping behind her, “Whatever you did you need to reverse it! I can’t walk into a town like this!”
“And I can?” Illiana lifted one of her lower hands and makes a show of grooming it.
“One of us should!” Cinder snapped. “At least you have that star trick. If I get nabbed I don’t have any disappearing act.”
“Cinder, its not like there aren’t a fair number of devil blooded in the cities. You’ll be fine. Probably just absorbed a bit of my mana last night. It might fade given time.” Illiana lied.
“Did you do this to me on purpose?” Cinder’s eyes narrowed to glowing red slits.
“No.” Illiana said. It would probably at least ten more hours before all that mana really started manifesting itself. Then the cat might truly be out of the bag.
Cinder stared down at her for a moment longer before turning to snatch up her pants from the forest floor. Illiana took the opportunity to roll over and give herself a good stretch. Grasping the ground with her claws, she stretched out her arms and then shifted forward sinuously, extending her legs and arching her back.
“Don’t do that!” Cinder scolded. Illiana looked back at her with as much innocence as her feline face could muster.
“Do what? This?” Illiana repeated the stretch and was delighted that the red hue of Cinder’s skin darkened to crimson when she blushed.
“Yes that! I’m angry with you! Rightfully, too! Acting like the world’s largest, sexiest housecat is not going to make me forgive you.”
“Stretching is not asking for forgiveness. If I want forgiveness, I do something like this.” Grinning, Illiana’s starself separated from her fur and the pair of them slinked to Cinder on all fours, purring and rubbing their faces against her thick thighs.
“I’m so sorry. Purrrease forgive me.” Illiana said, her voice high and teasing. “It was an accident.”
“Uuuurrrgh.” Cinder groaned, the blush deepening as the scent of her arousal flowed off of her. Illiana slid her starself between her legs, making sure she felt the stars run across her sex while her flesh self stood to prevent Cinder from falling over. “Mmmmmah!” Cinder gasped, while her knees shook.
“So am I forgiven or do I have to do introduce you to how deep a star tongue can reach?” Illiana asked, kissing her cheek.
“I’m so doomed.” Cinder said, stepped away to pull on her pants. With her thickened thighs they were an extremely tight fit. She had to loosen every buckle and cut a tail hole in the seat of them. Her enlarged breast were a similiar problem, threatening to overflow her stiff leather cuirass.
Illiana tried to hold back a smile and totally failed.
“You won’t be so smug when I catch one of these in my bowstring when I’m trying to save your starry tail. They were already in the way.”
“Mrrrowl.” Illiana made a clawing motion, “Guess I better enjoy the view while I still can. Speaking of doom, I kinda expected to hear from Barnaby by now.” Illiana stepped away and peered in the direction of the campsite. One ear flicked as she heard an unfamiliar sound.
Was Barnaby… whistling?
