Chapter 4

Find of a Life Time

Illiana dreamed of stars, whirling, dancing and running among them. Until a strong scent, a spice of cinnamon, the tang of sweat entered her nose and pulled at her heart. Her loins yearned for touch and a familiar loneliness weighed her steps. It was time. She followed the scent down to the earth. Curiosity blossomed alongside her hunger for companionship. What would she find? Humble huts? Towering cities? Both had their perks. And for a scent to call her so strongly. It wasn’t a fellow Saber… yet.

The earth beneath her paws shook suddenly and Illiana stumbled into the grass.

“Wake up!” The heavens whispered urgently.

Illiana lifted her head and beheld a fiery eyed beauty and breathed in the scent. The same scent from the dream she rose from. Cinnamon spiced sweat coupled with the earth she trod on their adventure. Cinder.

What a wonderful sight to wake to. Illiana smiled, admiring her friend as her dark brows furrowed.

“Why are you looking at me like that?!” she asked.

“You’re really pretty?” Illiana said in a soft whisper.

Cinder flinched and turned away. “Gods, you're always so sappy in the mornings. It's your watch, spell slinger.”

Embarrassment catapulted the last bit of sleep from Illiana’s mind, and she sat up. “Ah, sorry. I had a weird dream. You caught me off guard.”

“Yeah well, I’ll let it pass for now. Nothings fucking stirred in here. Where ever Gobbo ran with that revive potion, he’s not here. Maybe he’s trying it out on his ugly friend upstairs.” Cinder turned to her own pack and spread out her roll.

“Told ya.” Illiana said.

“Nobody likes a smart ass.” She fell onto her makeshift pillow with a dramatic grunt. In moments, the soft whistling of her slumber drifted through the room, joining the knight’s consistent snore. Illiana rose to her feet. She found that the yearning from the dream persisted, particularly between her legs.

She tried to ignore it, sitting on the desk and facing the doorway as Cinder had. Listening hard for anything that might be happening beyond it. Yet her hands drifted downwards, and she repeatedly snatched them back. She could only imagine the tongue lashing Cinder would deliver if she caught her masturbating on watch.

Tongue lashing… “Mmmmph.” Illiana stifled a moan as her imagination ran away with all the things Cinder could do with her tongue. Bargaining began, just a little orgasm would take the edge off. She could stifle that. She wasn’t that loud of a screamer when it came to sex.

A flicker of magic and Illiana’s starself appeared, baring a naughty smile. A smile that she saw reflected on the face of her flesh self.

Am I really doing this? She thought.

Yes. The voice answered as Illiana’s starself sank down to her knees and pushed open Illiana’s knees. The starself’s touch was a whisper, but Illiana’s body yielded to it automatically. Starry hands slid up Illiana’s inner thighs, the featherlight touch and pinpricks of heat that made her skin raise to tingling goose flesh beneath the loose pants she wore. Illiana bit her lip to contain the moan as the need in her depths grew. Her starself gripped Illiana’s thighs and rubbed her cheeks against her knees and legs like an amorous cat. Felt so good. A light purr filled her ears, coming from the cloak itself. She saw and felt this from both positions, but something gently pushed her from the reins of her starself as that starry tongue began to lick through her clothes.

Illiana did not notice the cloak itself wrap around her legs and pry them further apart. Nor the tassel tentacles threading down the neck of her shirt to squeeze and knead her breasts. Her awareness focused on the fireworks of pleasure of her starself’s tongue on the folds of her sopping wet sex. The swirling heat of those tiny stars slamming into and through her flesh coupled with sharp popping sensation was like nothing she’d ever experienced before but also so frustrating gentle. A distant memory quoted that a Glitch Saber’s starry duplicate could only apply a tenth of its strength.

“More.” Illiana grasped. “Harder.”

As you wish. The voice answered. More stars flowed from the surface of the cloak to the starself and she began to shift. That tongue broadened and thickened as it pushed deeper, driven by heavy feline muzzle. The hands that held her waist swelled into massive paws. Two tentacles grew from the starbeing’s back, one of them opening like three petaled flowers to latch onto a breast and other pushed past Illiana’s lips. Only the tightening grip of the cloak prevented Illiana from falling back onto the desk as the now massive starbeast between her legs overwhelmed her. A tenth of the strength of a petite wizard might be a feather but that proportion of a feline larger than a tiger was more than enough to answer her desire.

“AAaah, Aaah!” Illiana cried out as she rode the ethereal tongue, body pulsing, a part of her mind railed against the pleasure, knowing she’d lost control. Yet there was nothing to do but ride the river of ecstasy that ran through her. Orgasms quaked through her, cracking her awareness. For a moment Illiana ceased to exist, her memories, her morals, her history, reduced a quivering ball of bliss. In that gap, the starbeast collapsed, its stars rushing not back to the cloak but inside Illiana. The cloak tightened around her, pouring in a life of its own. For a moment they existed together, side by side, oil and water.

Mine. The presence declared as Illiana blinked, saw the stone ceiling and felt the presence within her. Huge and powerful.

“No.” She whispered back, a small defiance, battle was joined. The wizard’s soul and the ancient spirit spun into battle, wrestling with each other in the depths of her being.

“Gotta.. Get it…” She threw back the hood but the cloaked sealed itself to her neck, her blood mingling with its newly resurrected flesh. It bonded down to the collar of her shirt, the mundane linen preventing further adherence. Her ears extended to long points, their surface growing a dark blue fuzz. The stars churned within her body it gained a predatory cast, muscles toned and thickened, nails grew long and claw like as she desperately pulled at the cloak.

Knife. She remembered. Dhe had a dagger at her belt. Cut it off.

Her clawed hand fell from the edge of the cloak and reached for her backup weapon. The cloak quickly slid wrapped around the hand. Illiana lips twisted into a snarl filling her lungs for a scream. and a fresh wave of warmth rolled t

No please. Let me live. The voice whispered as a fresh wave of warmth and pleasure rolled through Illiana’s body. Dampening Illiana’s fear and fight under the softness of mental velvet.

“Get out.” Illiana moaned, her eyes searched and found Cinder on the floor, eyes squeezed shut, back arched and her mouth open in an O in the midst of an intense dream. Cinder would save her. Cinder always saved her. All she had to do was scream.

We can share. Be one. The voice cooed, Look, I’m making you better.

The cloak released her hand and Illiana examined it, flexed the fingers experimentally. Felt the muscles flex in her arm and… elsewhere, a lower twinge and another in her back.

I am power and grace. I waited so long for someone like you. This is perfectly normal. A partnership.

“Its not…” Illiana protested weakly. The thoughts seemed to spring from her own mind, they seemed so reasonable. The foreign presence inside had stopped fighting, stopped trying to push her, Illiana, out. Yet, they were entangled somehow. And it felt so fucking good.

Normal. The voice insisted, tucking away the memories of the last few minutes. Finish the task, go to the surface and then. Cinder appeared in Illiana’s mind, clad in nothing as she coyly spread her legs. Mate.

“Mate.” Illiana echoed.

Normal, no need to notice anything.

“Normal. Everything’s normal.” Illiana whispered dreamily. Shook her head a bit and sat up on the desk. After checking a small pocket watch, she settled in to watch the door for another two hours, tugging the cloak around her body and tucking her legs up into it.
