Bang—

The sudden blast of headlights in the dark night was especially jarring.

Lily Shaw let out a soft scoff, her hands spinning the steering wheel again at high speed.Full novel: Flash Marriage Deep Love: Young Master Xavier’s Indulgence in His Wife — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

While dodging the three cars biting at her bumper, she was already thinking that once she got back, she was definitely going to settle this score with her “dear husband”!

Maybe it was telepathy or something, because the moment Lily thought that, she actually heard that domineering man’s voice in her ear.

In the rearview mirror she unexpectedly caught sight of Eldest Young Master Grant, who had somehow appeared in the car without her noticing, and heard his low bark by her ear: “Head north!”

“Husband, what are you doing here?” Lily didn’t even know why, but that wild, reckless heart of hers always calmed and steadied in front of Aiden Grant.

A random line popped into her head: when two strong forces meet, one has to yield.

“Step on it and head north.” Aiden answered quickly, continuing to direct Lily’s driving.

His expression was calm, as if he didn’t care at all that his wife had snuck out in the middle of the night to race, leaving him alone at home.

Lily also didn’t bother puzzling over when exactly Eldest Young Master Grant, who should have been sleeping soundly on the big bed back at the villa, had gotten into the car without a sound.

Her face stayed composed as her hands moved rapidly on the wheel and her foot stayed hard on the accelerator.

The Spyker’s top speed was at three hundred and thirty, and Lily pushed it there with ease, shaking off the Jeep and the Bugatti that had been chasing relentlessly.

Only that blue Ferrari still clung stubbornly to their tail.

“Wife, you handle a car damn well.” Eldest Young Master Grant generously praised his own wife, but seeing that Ferrari that just wouldn’t shake off no matter what, a wave of irritation flared in his chest. This chapter was taken from novelping . com without permission.

“Kevin Kaye, there are three supercars on National Highway 123.

Their license plates are… Find out who owns them.

I want their family businesses bankrupt within ten days.” Eldest Young Master Grant ordered coldly.

Street racing outside on his wedding night was bad enough; getting chased down on top of that—if he could swallow this, he wouldn’t be Eldest Young Master Grant.

Lily’s mood remained calm the whole time.

She heard everything Aiden said, and she didn’t care.

From the moment those three cars showed up, she’d known they were coming for Aiden.

After giving Kevin Kaye his orders, Eldest Young Master Grant looked back at the Ferrari growing more distant behind them, his restless mood nowhere near cooling.

Bang—

A sharp, piercing crack blew out the rear window, and the Spyker, which had been flying forward fast and steady, gave a slight shudder.

Lily narrowed her eyes.

She hooked her lips in a faint smile, watching the man’s darkened expression in the rearview mirror.

She gave a small pout, not knowing what exactly her “dear husband” had done to have people chasing him down like this on their wedding night.

“Wife, don’t worry.” Aiden’s voice softened as he said that to her.

Then he pulled out a case from under the back seat, and a heavy sniper rifle appeared in his hands, the black barrel almost invisible in the dim car interior.

But Lily was sharp enough to notice it right away, and couldn’t help warning him: “Husband, don’t use that.

I know this area well.

In a bit I’ll personally deliver them to the bottom of the cliff.”

Aiden paused, suddenly lifting his eyes to the rearview mirror.

He unexpectedly caught the confident light on Lily’s face and let out a low chuckle.

“Alright, I won’t use it.”

Lily exhaled lightly in relief.

She wasn’t unfamiliar with firearms—she’d played with them for a while in the past.

People in that circle carried guns on them all the time; she’d seen plenty.

But for some reason, she just didn’t want Aiden firing a gun and killing someone right in front of her.
