Inside the dessert shop,

Cen Zhi Ning was picking out cakes. She bent slightly at the waist, staring intently at the dazzling array of cakes inside the display case.

The newly released French mousse cake looked exquisite—so beautiful it practically screamed delicious. She was just about to ask the clerk to pack one for her when the system spoke again.Full novel: Flirting with Four Yanderes: Now They’re Begging Me to Love Them — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

【Host, there’s something I must tell you. Jin Yi Han, Mu Chen Chuan, and Jiang Jing Mian grew up together. They have a good relationship.】

Cen Zhi Ning remained calm.

“I know. That’s why I used a fake identity when I was攻略-ing Jiang Jing Mian and Jin Yi Han.”

The system’s voice grew weaker.

【Well… this semester Jiang Jing Mian will be transferring into Sri Lan Noble Academy as a freshman.】

Cen Zhi Ning frowned, wishing she could die on the spot. Great. All four male leads gathered at Sri Lan Noble Academy—and all of them top-tier elites.

“So what? You think I’m not dying fast enough?”

【It’s not that bad. Jin Yi Han is interning at his family’s corporation and rarely returns to campus. Qi Yan Heng is at the research institute and won’t cross paths much. Only Jiang Jing Mian and Mu Chen Chuan might be in the same academic building.】

“Might?”

【Mm… The last male lead is the hardest to攻略. Host, do your best. Jiang Jing Mian’s depression index is unstable. Try not to mess up too early, or you’ll bear the consequences.】

A threat. A blatant threat.

Through the glass display window, Cen Zhi Ning glanced toward Jin Yi Han not far away.

He had just hung up the phone and was walking over.

Snapping back to her senses, she accidentally bumped into the cake rack beside her.

Fortunately, the uniformed clerk caught it in time. To keep her from falling, he thoughtfully held her arm.

“Miss, careful.”

Still shaken, Cen Zhi Ning patted her chest. She had nearly hit the rack. She looked up at the clerk—a bright, clean-cut young man, probably a winter break part-timer.

“Thank you.”

“You’re welcome…”

His voice paused noticeably. As he looked at her, unconcealed amazement flashed in his eyes. His face reddened, heart racing, hands awkward.

“Um… Miss, have you decided which cake you’d like?”

Cen Zhi Ning withdrew her arm and pointed at the mousse.

“Please get me that mousse cake. Thank you.”

Only then did the clerk swiftly open the display and take out the cake. As he packaged it, he was clearly flustered, his gaze drifting toward her again and again.

When he handed her the box, he seemed to muster all his courage. His face was tinged with shy anticipation, and his voice trembled slightly.

“Miss… may I boldly ask if I could add you on WeChat?”

Seeing her puzzled look, he stammered an explanation.

“It’s just… so I can notify you immediately when we launch new products.”

Looking at his fully flushed face, Cen Zhi Ning instantly understood—it definitely wasn’t just about new products. She was about to politely decline when—

Jin Yi Han appeared in front of her.

His presence carried a low pressure that instantly enveloped the surrounding space.

Naturally, he took the cake from her hand. His other arm wrapped around her waist, his burning palm pressing against her side, pulling her lightly into his embrace in a possessive gesture.

His sharp jaw lifted slightly, cold eyes sweeping over the clerk. His voice was steady but filled with oppression.

“It’s not convenient.”

He paused, each word landing heavily.

“She’s taken.”

The clerk’s face stiffened. Under that crushing gaze, he felt as though he were being cut into a thousand pieces. The blush vanished from his face, replaced with awkward embarrassment.

“S-Sorry, sir.”

He fled in panic.

Jin Yi Han didn’t spare him another glance. Instead, he buried his head in Cen Zhi Ning’s neck and spoke in a muffled, jealous tone.

“Buying a cake and still causing trouble.”

Gone was the cold sternness from moments ago. He looked exactly like a large dog whose beloved toy had been snatched—wronged yet domineering.

【Ding dong. Host, Jin Yi Han’s control desire is rising. Please clear it promptly.】

Cen Zhi Ning paused. Huh? Just that?

Jealousy could increase control desire too?

【This is what they call possessiveness.】

She had worked so hard to lower his control desire, and now it rose again just like that. How was she supposed to accept this? She really had spoiled him too much.

Unhappy, she pushed his arm away.

“He was just promoting new products. Why were you so harsh?”

Jin Yi Han’s brows knitted tightly, lips pulling slightly.

“But he touched your hand.”

“You’re making a big deal out of nothing. You scared him.”

“But you smiled at him.”

“So what? Should I walk around looking miserable every day?”

Jin Yi Han shot a dark glance at the timid clerk behind the counter. His black eyes deepened.

Was Cen Zhi Ning wavering because of that youthful, energetic clerk?

The violent hostility he tried to suppress surged up as he glared viciously at the clerk.

Startled, the clerk shuddered behind the counter. Were the couple fighting? That man didn’t look like someone easy to provoke. Losing his temper over something so small?

So scary.

He shrank his neck and slipped into the back kitchen.

Jin Yi Han’s expression remained cold.

“So now you’re angry at me because of him?”

“If that’s how you want to think, I can’t help it.”

With that, Cen Zhi Ning turned and left the dessert shop.

A ruthless glint flashed in Jin Yi Han’s eyes. His fists slowly tightened.

He didn’t chase after her.

Instead, he headed toward the back kitchen.

The moment he pushed the door open, frost covered his face, violence surging in his eyes—a dark possessiveness at the thought of someone coveting what was his.

His wife was angry at him—all because of that clueless clerk.

At that moment, the clerk had just taken off his uniform, preparing to eat dinner. Suddenly, a powerful hand seized his collar and slammed him brutally against the cold wall, making his vision spin.

He struggled in terror but couldn’t budge him at all.

“What are you doing? Assault is illegal!”

Jin Yi Han’s eyes were devoid of warmth. Looking down at him, jawline taut with menace, he spoke in a low voice.

“This hand touched something it shouldn’t have.”

The moment his words fell—

Crack.

The clerk’s arm was dislocated. The pain forced tears from his eyes.

“Ah—are you crazy?!”

He curled up on the ground, cold sweat instantly soaking his back as a few staff members began gathering nearby.

Jin Yi Han released him and looked down at the writhing figure, his voice icy.

“Control your eyes and your thoughts. If you go near her again, it won’t just be your arm.”

The clerk felt wronged beyond words. He had only asked for her WeChat—who knew he’d provoke such a mad dog!

This was insane!

Jin Yi Han adjusted his perfectly neat coat and took out a card from his pocket.

“There’s one million in here. Password: six zeros. Enough for your medical expenses. And don’t let me see you in Jingbei again.”

The clerk suddenly felt his arm didn’t hurt so much anymore. He blinked at the card.

Things like this actually happen?

“Got it. I’ll leave Jingbei tonight.”

He had been wrong. This wasn’t a mad dog. This was a god of wealth.

Dragging his dislocated arm, he picked up the card and ran off, faster and faster—afraid the big spender would regret it.

Watching him disappear, Jin Yi Han gave a cold snort. The frightening hostility on his face instantly receded.

Tch. Coward. Why would his wife spare him even a second glance?

Just as he was about to leave, he realized—

Cen Zhi Ning was standing there, her face pale as she stared at him.

Jin Yi Han’s expression stiffened for a split second.
