It was the year 3077, and the Galaxy was divided into five dominions. There was the Women's Republic of Valbara. The Democratic Union of Immius. The Corporate Kingdom of Radek. The United Nations of Toundra. And finally, the most isolated of them all, the Socialist Federation of Erudia. All five dominions' populations were nothing but females, as the male gender had been extinct for over 400 years.
The war of the sexes had faded as the former male species had slowly died out. The women of Valbara had been the first to develop artificial insemination from a female egg and had used it to their advantage. There had been a great war, and the women of the galaxy had won, and peace ran through the galaxy until the factions had split apart due to the differences in their ideologies. They were not at peace any longer.
The women of the Valbarans had developed the most advanced weapons, ships, and equipment in the galaxy. They had the strongest military force, and they knew how to use it to their advantage. They had the best technology and the best soldiers. Their military force was the most feared in the galaxy. But their resources were running low, and they needed to expand their influence to other planets in the galaxy to keep their economy running. That's where the Armadillo came in.
The WRS Armadillo was an interstellar exploration and defense vessel. Its mission was to explore and defend the outer reaches of the unexplored sectors of the galaxy. It was the pride of the fleet, a sleek, silver vessel that gleamed like a beacon in the darkness of space.
Captain Sara Grange was currently in charge of the WRS Armadillo and the crew of nine other women who served under her as the executive officer.
Sara was a woman on a mission as she paced through the bustling corridors of the Women's Republic of Valbara deep-space patrol vessel. They needed to find new planets to seek new life and, more importantly, new resources that could help them survive in this harsh, new universe. The Armadillo was one of the most advanced vessels in the Valbaran fleet. It had the latest in deep-space scanning technology, and it was her job to lead the crew to find a new habitable planet. She knew that the success of their mission would determine the fate of their species, and she would not let anything stand in their way.
She'd grown up watching WRS vessels pass overhead, the Women's Republic Spacefleet insignia gleaming on their hulls, and had dreamed of the day she'd wear that same designation on her own collar.
Sara was wearing her standard military uniform. It was a form-fitting, gray jumpsuit with a red trim that hugged her curves in all the right places. The jumpsuit had a built-in oxygen mask that could be deployed in an emergency. The mask was designed to provide a secure seal around her mouth and nose, and it had a built-in oxygen supply that would last for up to two hours.
Her black hair was pulled back into a tight bun, revealing the small, round communicator that was attached to her ear. The device was a marvel of technology, allowing her to communicate with her crew members and receive messages from the central command. The communicator was a sleek, silver device that fit snugly in her ear, allowing her to hear the voices of her crew members and central command.
As Sara walked through the corridors of the Armadillo, she couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and excitement as she approached the asteroid field that surrounded the entire Alpha quadrant. It was known since the beginning of space travel; however, no one knew what was beyond it, and the Valbarans had always been too afraid to venture through it. The thought of being the first people to explore the uncharted territory beyond the asteroid field filled her with a sense of purpose and adventure. She knew that she was on the cusp of something great, and she was determined to see it through.
She had her orders, and she was not going to fail.
"Captain. The ship is in position above the asteroid field," a tall blonde woman named Lieutenant Stacy Rackham stated from the pilot's seat, breaking Sara from her thoughts. Stacy had been her pilot ever since Sara had become captain. They were a good team together. "We're ready to enter on your command."
"Good," Sara nodded as she went over all the ship's instruments. She was the kind of captain who liked to run a tight ship and have a hand in every detail. "Let's get started. I want a full scan of the area as we enter the asteroid field. And Lieutenant Rackham, keep an eye out for any signs of life or resources."
"Yes, Captain," Lieutenant Rackham nodded.
The ship's scanners were some of the most advanced in the galaxy, capable of scanning for signs of life, resources, and other anomalies in the vast expanse of space. Sara watched as the scanners were activated, sending out pulses of energy that probed the surrounding area. She knew that the scans would take a while to complete, so she settled in for the wait, eager to see what the Armadillo would find on this mission.
The crew was busy at work, monitoring the ship's systems, keeping track of the scanner readings, and preparing for the upcoming exploration.
"I can't believe we have to go through the Centauri Field. No probe or ships have ever made it back through it. Who in the cosmos knows what's on the other side?" Lieutenant Commander Leanna Price said from the science station. Leanna had been Sara's friend since the Academy. They had both been on this ship since it had launched three years ago. She was the ship's chief medical and science officer. "I don't see why we have to go through that stupid asteroid field anyway."
"That's enough, Specs. We will succeed where others have failed." Sara said as she stood behind her. She liked to encourage her crew. Sara had given Leanna that nickname a long time ago. She had worn glasses since she was young, and despite her nanobots correcting her vision years ago, she still kept a pair on out of habit. The name had just stuck over the years. "This ship is the best there is. And we have the best crew—"
*Bing!*
Suddenly, the scanner started beeping. Leanna looked down at the scanner's screen and furrowed her brow.
"Looks like there's something still interfering with our scanners," Leanna said. "I was hoping the new XA-5 particle scanner would have cleared up this interference, but it looks like we've still got a problem."
"It was to be expected, Specs. Looks like we will be navigating through the field the old-fashioned way, Stacy," Sara said, then she tapped her communicator in her ear. "Mel! We are about to enter the asteroid field. Report if something is wrong with the astral crystals. I don't want our shields to fail in the middle of the field."
"I hear ya, Cap!" Melanie said. She was the ship's engineer. "I'll report to the bridge if there is anything wrong. But you know my babies are the best in the fleet. They are purring like a kitten."
"Good," Sara smiled. "Let's keep them that way. I don't want to die out there today."
The ship seemed to hum as the engines powered up.
"Alright, Ladies. Let's go," Sara said as she took the center seat on the bridge.
The Armadillo was a small vessel, only housing a crew of ten women, with Sara in command and Leanna as her executive officer. Stacy was the pilot. Melanie was the chief engineer. Lieutenant Mira Elissa was the ship's communications officer, and Ensign Sonya Martinez was the ship's navigator.
Ensign First Class Petra Mandas was the ship's tactical officer, and Ensign Second Class Olivia Trace was the ship's counselor. Security Officer Jasmine Muñoz was the ship's security chief. And Ensign Kelli Murphy was the ship's Helmsperson.
"Lieutenant, take us in," Sara said.
Stacy nodded and began to pilot the ship through the asteroid field. It was a dangerous task, and one that required skill and precision. The asteroids were massive, ranging in size from a few meters to several kilometers across, and they were constantly shifting and moving as they orbited the planet.
Stacy had to navigate the ship carefully, using the thrusters to avoid collisions and keeping a close eye on the scanners to spot any approaching asteroids. Despite the danger, she was determined to complete the mission. She had trained for this moment, and she knew that she and the rest of the crew were up to the task.
"Specs? Can you tell how close that magnetic field is?"
"It's more of a radiation field than a magnetic field, Captain," Leanna said.
Kelli Murphy glanced at Stacy with a concerned look, but the Lieutenant was too focused on her task to notice. "Radiation field?" Kelli asked. "How are we able to navigate through it if the shields can't block the radiation? Won't we fry?"
"Relax, Ensign. Our shields can block all known radiation types in the known universe," Sara said.
"Yes, Captain. All known types," Kelli said. "But what about the unknown. There is a lot of unknown in these parts."
"Noted, Ensign. Now, back up the Lieutenant. Or you won't have to worry about the radiation."
Kelli turned back to see a large rock floating inches from the hull of the ship.
"R-Right! I'm on it, Captain!" Kelli said as she went back to helping the pilot. "Stacy?"
"Keep us steady, Murphy," Stacy said, her eyes fixed on the viewport and the controls. "We can't afford to hit any of these rocks. Keep an eye on the sensors, and let me know if anything unexpected pops up."
Kelli nodded and focused her attention on the sensors, monitoring their surroundings for any sudden changes or unexpected obstacles.
As the Armadillo moved deeper into the asteroid field, the scanner began to go nuts as they entered the radiation field.
"Status report, Specs," Sara ordered.
"Scanners are overloaded. We are definitely in some type of radiation," Leanna said as she was working on her console, trying to get any reading on this strange radiation. "They aren't registering anything on the sensors. Not even the new XA-5. This is a new type of radiation. Something that we have never seen before. Our instruments can't detect it, and we don't have a way of knowing what kind of damage it can do."
"Are the shields holding?" Sara asked.
Leanna nodded her head. "Yes, Captain. But I don't know whether the radiation is penetrating our shields or if it doesn't even exist. I've never seen anything like this before. I am not going to be able to tell you what this is until we are back in the lab and we have completed a full analysis of our vitals and the ship's logs."
"Alright," Sara said. "Keep scanning. See if we can get something on this. In the meantime, let's hope we don't come across a large asteroid." Sara said as she felt a funny buzzing coming from her loins. She readjusted herself in her chair. "What the...?"
Sara rubbed her thighs together, and she could have sworn that she could feel something rubbing her vagina. But there was nothing there. She looked around at the rest of her crew, and they were all squirming slightly in their seats. It looked as if they were feeling the same thing. Sara shook her head and played it off as nerves as the tingling sensation started to come from her nipples now.
She ignored the weird sensation and continued to monitor the instruments. She had to stay focused, and she couldn't let her crew see her lose her composure. She was the captain, and she was supposed to be the rock-solid leader that they could depend on. But she couldn't shake the feeling that something was off, and the strange buzzing sensation in her loins and nipples continued to nag at her.
The stressful situation continued for about five hours, and during that time, Sara's cervix was tingling the entire time. She had never felt anything like that in her life. It was as if something inside her had awakened, and her instincts told her to shove something into it. But she was a trained soldier, and she just ignored the sensation the best she could.
Finally, they made it through the radiation field, and the scanners came back online. And that tingling feeling was starting to fade.
"We are through the radiation. Thank the Primer," Stacy sighed.
Sara nodded, but she was still distracted by the sensation in her body. "We aren't out of the woods yet, Specs. Give me a reading on how much more of the asteroid field we have left," Sara said.
"Scanning now, Captain," Leanna said as she pressed a few buttons on the console. "We still have about 200,000 kilometers of the asteroid field left. I'm sorry, Captain. Looks like we are going to be here for a while."
"Alright," Sara sighed, and then tapped her communicator. "Mel? How are the Astral Crystals looking?"
"Oh! Umm..." Melanie moaned as her voice came through the com system. "They are good! The astral crystals are good!"
"Are you sure?" Sara asked. "You're breathing hard. Are you in the middle of something?"
"No. I'm not in the middle of anything," Melanie said, her voice shaking. "Just fixing the shield generators. They are fine. The shields are still at a hundred percent."
"Good. Keep an eye on them, and report back if there are any problems," Sara said.
"Will do, Captain!" Melanie said, and then there was a click over the com, and the connection ended.
"She sounded... off..." Leanna said with a curious look on her face. "Maybe I should go check on the generators myself."
"Leave her," Sara said. "I think she was probably masturbating when I called. She does that sometimes when we are on stressful maneuvers."
Leanna looked at her curiously and then shrugged. "Alright, Captain. If that is what you want."
Sara nodded and then leaned back in her chair, feeling the strange sensation in her body start to fade away. However, it felt like her breasts were a little bloated and firmer than usual. She didn't know what was causing the sensation, but it was making her feel uncomfortable, and she was having trouble concentrating on the mission. She had to get back into her captain mode and focus on the task at hand.
Sara shook her head, trying to clear her mind. She had to focus on the mission, not on the strange sensations in her body.
