Driving the car, Opel never once looked at Zakai.
But on the other hand Zakai kept on staring as well as peeking from the corner of his eyes at Opel from time to time, making sure that Opel doesn’t find out.
All he could think of was Opel’s robust bare body.
At some corner of his heart, he was contented that he caught a glimpse of the holy figure.
The continuous flashback of the bare upper body of Opel made Zakai turn red without any symptoms.
AHH!
OHH!
UFF!!
Opel started making some weird sounds all of a sudden.
He was being restless and kept on twisting his lower back; unable to find out a single comfortable angle in the seat, he adjusted a dozen times with constantly moving his feet and those hands which were on the steering.
Zakai’s body was perfectly still yet he was confused looking at Opel’s sudden behavioral change.
After carefully wasting a few minutes looking at Opel getting fidgety, Zakai asked him, “Sir!
Is there any issue?”
“NO!” Opel answered uneasily.
“—–” Zakai didn’t understand anything.
His face seemed clueless.
Opel looked at Zakai and with a timid smirk he spoke, “The way you are looking at me, I think you’re gonna devour me soon.”
“——-”
“——-”
Zakai flushed.
His eyes enlarged.
He got shy and instantly turned his face and looked out of the window.
Resting his head on the seat, Zakai closed his eyes and spoke, “Wake me up when we reach my place.”
There was no emotional connect.
After Opel tried to make Zakai feel a bit shy, he was brutally turned down.
Perhaps his acting wasn’t perfect!!!!
As the car drove past the area, soon there was a heavy downpour along with violent wind shoving past the car.
Driving through the heavy rain created a relentless drumming rhythm on the metal roof of the car and also on the glass windows.
The streaks of rain obscuring the windshield made it hard for Opel to even drive at a minimum speed.
Soon the blurry windows and dense spray of the rain made it difficult to judge distances and see the brake lights of vehicles or other obstacles ahead.
SCREEEEEEEEEEEEECH!!!!!
All of a sudden the car stopped with a jerk.
Zakai got startled and sat straight with his fearful eyes.
He looked at Opel and asked, “Why?
What happened?”
“Look there!” Opel answered gesturing with his eyes to look outside.
“Wha…..what….happened….here…” Zakai asked with a confused face after looking outside.
The road was covered with water and few of the branches of the tress on the pavement were floating on the road, obstructing the way.
“What should we do now, sir?” Zakai asked.
“There’s nothing we can do now.” Opel answered with a timid tone.
He kept on looking to his left and right again and again, until, “Look!
There’s a house over this side.
Let’s take shelter there and see if we can find something to eat.” Opel suggested.
Zakai didn’t respond.
Instead he stared at the house with dubiousness.
“I think it’s safe to take shelter in that house rather than sleeping inside the car.” Opel advised.
Zakai didn’t resist.
He simply nodded his head and pulled off his seat belt.
But all of a sudden Opel grabbed Zakai’s arm and with a serious tone he spoke, “If the resident ask anything, tell them that we’re friends.”
Zakai nodded.
Both of them opened the car’s door and got out from the either sides.
The cold raindrops first hit his forehead and all of a sudden it drained all his upper body.
He instinctively raised his right hand, flattening his palm to form a small roof over his eyes and started to move.
Meanwhile after stepping out of the car, Opel started unbuttoning his shirt all of a sudden.
He hurriedly unbuttoned all of his buttons and pulled off his shirt.
Instantly Opel rushed towards Zakai offering him his own shirt that he was wearing a few seconds ago.
Seeing the same bare body once again made Zakai get déjà vu.
The torrential downpour struck his bare skin, fracturing into spicy beads of water that raced down the contours of his torso.
The cold rain contrasted sharply with the heat radiating from his armored skin, turning his upper body into a canvas of shifting light and shadow.
Every drop of rain that threw onto his body, traced the deeply etched lines of his super tightly packed six packs, pooling momentarily into the grooves before spilling over his solid abdominal wall.
The water channeled down the distinct V-line of his low abs, disappearing into the waistband of his low-riding jeans.
Overall, Zakai was immensely gratified to encounter such a surreal experience on a single day.
Looking at Opel’s each muscular brick that gleamed under the wet sheen of the rain, Zakai had a contrasting face.
His flushed face under the rain captured a striking contrast between the warmth of red, heated skin and the cold, stinging impact of falling water.
His wet, dark strands plastered against his flushed forehead and his temples.
While Zakai was submerged with a lot of thinking inside his brain, Opel came near him and wrapped his silk white shirt over Zakai’s shoulders and himself placed his one hand on Zakai’s forehead to block the rain flowing into his eyes and with the other hand, he grabbed Zakai’s waist.
He looked at Zakai and spoke, “Let’s run.”
And the next moment they were running at the same rhythm of their legs splashing the water with their footsteps.
But running under the rain sticking both the bodies together while one body is shamelessly bare, how will they tell the resident of the house that they are simply friends?
Won’t it be dubious?
Zakai’s mind piled up the same thoughts as he kept the rhythm of the footsteps along with Opel.
He wanted to know everything but was too bashful to ask.
‘If we are not seen as friends, then what are we?’ Zakai thought.
A sheepish grin appeared on his face that showed a feeling of embarrassment from a lack of self-confidence to even ask what was whirling up in his mind.
