“Qin Han, what on earth are you trying to do?” Qin Yin stared fiercely at Qin Han, pulling her hand back from her.
She merely withdrew her hand, without using much force at all.
Yet, Qin Han dramatically fell to the ground.
She looked at Qin Yin fearfully, her eyes filled with tears, her voice shaking, “Sis…don’t hit me, don’t hit me, I won’t say anything anymore.
I will keep this matter to myself, don’t hit me anymore.”
A mocking smile formed at the corners of Qin Yin’s mouth.
“I am not interested in your performance.
It’s a shame you’re not in the theater department.”
Saying that, she was about to go back to her dorm, when Xie Bin grabbed her wrist, a hurt tone in his voice, “Is what she said true?”
“None of your business.” Qin Yin was infuriated, really not wanting to recall the events of the past night.
She violently shook off Xie Bin’s hand, intending to leave, but Zhang Yun grabbed hold of her.
“You bullied Hanhan and now you are just going to leave?
I order you to apologize to her!”
Qin Yin turned around, her stare icy and piercing, causing everyone to pause.
“I bullied her?
What part of that did you see?” Qin Yin asked scornfully.
“Everyone saw it, otherwise, why would Hanhan fall?” Zhang Yun glanced back at Qin Han, who was still lying helplessly on the ground, then reached out to help her up.
Qin Yin did find it all quite absurd.
It wasn’t as if she was paralyzed – she was sitting on the floor for so long and needed someone else to help her up, when it was clear she had intentionally fallen.
More and more onlookers gathered, pointing and whispering, while most students condemned Qin Yin.
“Oh my, who would have thought that behind her innocent facade, she had already slept with a man.”
“Yes, and threatening her own sister because she was afraid of the truth coming out.”
Some female classmates, who liked Xie Bin, had long been dissatisfied with Qin Yin.
Now, they added fuel to the fire.
“She’s just a slut, seducing Senior Xie while sleeping with other men.
Did you know she used to have a boyfriend named Jun Nian?
He left for abroad, probably because he discovered her sluttish ways.”
At the mention of Jun Nian, Qin Yin’s face turned deathly pale.
Jun Nian, the man who had been with her throughout her college years, always protecting her, pampering her.
If he was still here, nothing like today would have happened.
Definitely not.
But he was gone.
That day, she had watched him climb off Qin Han’s bed.
God only knows how she survived that day.
She thought she would die when she lost Jun Nian.
But after falling severely ill, she pulled through.
Maybe from that point on, she began to feel distant towards Qin Han, but Jun Nian left without saying anything.
Later, Qin Han told her that she was drunk that night and had no clue about what had happened.
She even cried and told her that Jun Nian had been interested in her, but she didn’t accept him in order to spare her sister’s feelings, never expecting such a thing to happen.
Qin Yin felt incredibly foolish for believing Qin Han’s words.
She even treated her like a flesh-and-blood sister, but since then she never mentioned Jun Nian again.
I wonder how he’s doing…
Surrounded by so many classmates, all making scathing remarks, Qin Yin felt as if she was locked in a bubble, unable to hear a single word they said.
All the nasty comments were essentially blocked out.
