Unlike the bold Little Black and the daring Little Green, Grey Ghost was naturally cautious and extremely reluctant to land.

Even though he was already starving to the point of weakness, and his two brothers were eating until grease dripped from their mouths, Grey Ghost still vigilantly observed the surroundings.

It was no wonder that in the original timeline, Grey Ghost managed to survive even after his two brothers perished.Full novel: Game of Thrones: Fire Bloom of Westeros — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

His vigilance truly was exceptional.

However, it also meant he lived an extremely restrained and cautious life.

Daniella truly could not understand how Grey Ghost, who could evade the hunting of the Cannibal, was eventually ambushed and devoured by the half-crippled Sunfyre.

That outcome was almost as unbelievable as the smallfolk of King’s Landing and Lys successfully slaying dragons.

Could some deity have intervened?

Or perhaps the Faceless Men?

Of course, another possibility was that Grey Ghost had simply been too cautious, unable to secure enough food, and too small in size.

Perhaps he had ultimately been cornered inside his own lair by the wounded Sunfyre.

Still, if he could not win, could he not at least flee?

But now that Daniella was here, Grey Ghost’s fate would naturally change.

While Grey Ghost continued hesitating in the sky, Little Black and Little Green quickly devoured the first three fat sheep.

Especially when they began fighting over the third roasted sheep, how could young dragons possibly care about brotherly affection?

Little Black, having landed first, naturally finished eating his sheep more quickly.

He immediately bit into the third roasted sheep.

However, before he could enjoy more than a few bites, Little Green suddenly snatched it away.

After finishing his own sheep, Little Green directly bit onto one of the sheep’s hind legs.

Taking advantage of Little Black’s brief moment of surprise, he violently dragged the entire sheep away.

Then he immediately began devouring it ravenously.

Having his food stolen instantly enraged Little Black.

He roared threateningly at Little Green several times.

Yet Little Green only had eyes for the roasted sheep in his mouth and completely ignored Little Black’s warnings.

Little Black instantly exploded with fury.

He lunged directly at Little Green and slashed him fiercely with his claws, tearing a large wound across Little Green’s chest.

Scalding dragon blood immediately flowed out and burned the nearby grass black.

Little Green roared angrily in pain and unwillingness to back down.

Yet despite his rage, he still cunningly grabbed the remaining roasted sheep with his hind claws before rapidly taking flight.

Seeing this, Little Black immediately chased after him.

The two young dragons instantly began fighting in midair over the final roasted sheep.

In the end, Little Black, being slightly larger and stronger, successfully snatched the remaining mutton away.

The scene was remarkably entertaining.

While the young dragons were occupied in the sky, Daniella immediately instructed her servants to carry six more marinated fat sheep onto the grills while rapidly adding additional firewood.

Soon, the rich aroma of roasted lamb spread once more.

Little Black and Little Green, who rarely had the opportunity to eat their fill, immediately flew back down after noticing the new food.

This time, in order to build trust with them, Daniella personally stood not far from the grills.

Everyone present immediately became nervous for her safety.

Even Aemma tightly gripped Viserys’s arm and anxiously whispered,

“Is Daniella taking too much of a risk?”

Viserys stared intently at the young dragons while softly comforting Aemma,

“Do not worry.”

“Dragons do not easily harm pure-blooded descendants of House Targaryen.”

However, the constant movement of his throat clearly betrayed that Viserys himself was nowhere near as calm as he appeared.

Little Black and Little Green quickly noticed that the sheep had not yet fully cooked.

Growing impatient, the two young dragons directly breathed dragonfire onto the roasting spits themselves.

Little Black’s dragonfire was a ghastly green, very similar to the Cannibal’s flames, and somewhat splattering in appearance.

Little Green’s dragonfire, meanwhile, was a mixture of pale green and gold, almost identical to the coloration of his scales.

Green with a faint golden brilliance.

Although the temperature of their dragonfire was nowhere near that of adult dragons, it still far surpassed ordinary firewood.

The six fat sheep were quickly roasted thoroughly.

Little Black impatiently dragged one away and began eating nearby.

Little Green, meanwhile, held one sheep in his mouth while carrying another with his hind claws before flying to a distant location away from Little Black.

Only then did Little Black finally stop glaring at him suspiciously from the corner of his eyes and focus completely on eating his own food.

This time, Grey Ghost finally surrendered to his hunger.

The cautious silver-gray dragon carefully descended near the grills, seized one roasted goat, and immediately flew far away before disappearing from everyone’s sight.

Meanwhile, Little Black rapidly finished his sheep before directly occupying the grilling area itself.

He spread his body over the final two roasted sheep protectively, clearly unwilling to let either Little Green or Grey Ghost steal his food again.

Roughly half an hour later, Little Black and Little Green finally finished eating.

Out of the total nine fat sheep, only three skeletons remained.

As for the earlier sheep, even their skulls had already been crushed and swallowed whole.

This alone was enough to show how scarce food had been for them previously.

Moreover, Little Black and Little Green both seemed to realize that these roasted sheep had been provided by Daniella.

After finishing their meal, the two young dragons slowly approached her.

Little Black first lowered his head and deeply sniffed Daniella’s scent.

Then he gently rubbed his head against her body in an unexpectedly affectionate manner.

Within Little Black’s vertical pupils, her reflection gradually became visible.

Just as Daniella prepared to continue stroking him, Little Black suddenly spread his wings and took flight.

After Little Black departed, Little Green also slowly approached Daniella and sniffed her carefully.

After observing her closely for a long moment, he too spread his wings and flew away.

Watching the retreating figures of the two young dragons, Daniella remained silent for a very long time.

Viserys and Rhaenyra were similarly stunned.

As dragonriders themselves, they naturally understood what had just happened.

The two young dragons had clearly already begun acknowledging Daniella.

Yet within House Targaryen, there had always existed an iron rule:

One dragonrider could only bond with a single dragon.

So why was Daniella different from every previous Targaryen?

Not only had she already successfully bonded with Dreamfyre, but Meraxes, the hatchling born from her dragon egg, was also deeply attached to her.

Viserys and Rhaenyra even suspected that Meraxes would formally acknowledge Daniella as his rider once he matured.

And now even these wild dragons were displaying such closeness toward her.

The entire situation was unbelievably strange.

At that moment, Cameron quietly walked over and whispered into Daniella’s ear,

“Princess, Dreamfyre’s roasted sheep are ready.”

Only then did Daniella return to her senses.

“Oh, good.”

“Bring the roasted sheep and follow me.”

The Skinning Knights silently carried the six roasted fat sheep behind Daniella as they headed toward the large rock where Dreamfyre rested.

After arriving, Daniella walked directly to Dreamfyre and gently stroked the dragon’s mouth and jaw, allowing her to relax completely.

The Skinning Knights carefully placed the roasted sheep atop the large rock before immediately retreating backward.

This was because Daniella had repeatedly taught them one important rule:

Never expose your back to a dragon.

Dreamfyre had originally been somewhat displeased that her meal had been interrupted by the three young dragons earlier.

However, the moment she saw the six golden roasted fat sheep, all of her irritation immediately disappeared.

She happily swallowed the six sheep one after another.

Ever since Daniella had bonded with Dreamfyre, she had never once seen a dragon spit out bones while eating.

Thinking about it carefully, the reason was obvious.

With an adult dragon’s enormous mouth and terrifying bite force, sheep bones were probably no larger than fish bones stuck between teeth.

It was said that dragons could even swallow rocks to supplement minerals and iron within their bodies.

If that was true, then why would they possibly care about a few sheep bones?
