Nahida’s lessons have truly begun.

“The continent of Teyvat is divided into seven nations, corresponding to seven elements and seven deities.”

Nahida held a book she had obtained from somewhere and read it earnestly,Full novel: Genshin x Pokemon: Reborn as Nahida’s Daughter — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Mondstadt is the Land of Wind, Liyue is the Land of Geo, Inazuma is the Land of Electro, Sumeru is the Land of Dendro, Fontaine is the Land of Hydro, Natlan is the Land of Pyro, and Snezhnaya is the Land of Cryo…”

Amid listened from inside the egg, silently complaining in his heart: ‘I know all of this; I memorized it all in the game.’

But he didn’t show it, only occasionally swaying the egg to indicate he was listening.

After all, the way Nahida taught wasn’t actually boring.

She would intersperse things not found in books—such as her views on other nations, her understanding of elemental power, and even secrets that only a deity would know.

Every day, Nahida would spend an hour using Katheryne’s body outside to move around and gather the latest news.

The days passed by one by one like this.

While listening to the lessons, Amid began to ponder another matter.

Teleport.

This was an obsession he had since watching the Pokemon anime in his previous life.

Those Psychic-type Pokemon would disappear with a ‘whoosh’ and reappear with a ‘whoosh’ at a moment’s notice; it was so cool!

As for the skill Teleport, although it wasn’t officially in Celebi’s move set, Celebi was a Mythical Pokemon!

It even possessed the ability to travel through time and space.

But that ability was too powerful; he was still a hatchling and couldn’t use it at all.

However, Teleport was different.

Even human Psychics could learn this move.

He was a bona fide Psychic-type Pokemon; there was no reason he couldn’t learn it!

‘As long as I master Psychic power, I can learn Teleport.’

Amid thought happily,

‘When the time comes, I can take Mama Nahida away from this crummy cage!’

The more he thought about it, the more excited he became.

Leaving the Sanctuary of Surasthana was a must.

Because he remembered a very important matter—

The Doctor.

That mad scientist from the game who had countless segments and committed endless atrocities.

Although he didn’t know where he was now, he would definitely come to Sumeru.

Amid remembered the game’s plot: The Doctor conducted a bunch of experiments in Sumeru, including the god-building project, the cycle of the Sabzeruz Festival, and various inhumane research.

And Nahida had been locked up here all along, unable to do anything.

It wasn’t until the Traveler arrived that they teamed up to rescue her.

‘But the Traveler hasn’t arrived yet!’

Amid felt a bit panicked.

He didn’t know what the current timeline was.

Has the Traveler woken up?

Have they reached Sumeru?

Is it the brother or the sister?

‘I hope it’s the sister,’ he prayed silently,

‘Lumine is so cute, and her combat power is strong too.’

But on second thought, he became conflicted again.

‘Wait, no, if it’s the “chaotic” Lumine, then wouldn’t Mama Nahida be in danger?!’

He recalled those fan creations online where Lumine flirted with girls everywhere, not even sparing Nahida.

What if she comes to Sumeru and kidnaps Mama Nahida?

Thinking of this, Amid felt a pang of jealousy.

‘No, no, Mama Nahida is mine!

No one can take her away!’

He shook his head, tossing the strange thought aside.

‘Now is not the time for this!’

The important thing was the Doctor.

That piece of trash.

Remembering the things the Doctor did in the game, Amid’s heart flared with anger.

Segments, experiments, schemes—every single one was enough to make someone sick.

‘I must leave here as soon as possible!’ This chapter is updated first at g.com.

Once they were out, the initiative would be in their hands.

Then, he could gather a group of allies to crusade against the Doctor together!

Amid began to calculate their combat strength in his mind.

First was the local Sumeru forces.

Cyno, the General Mahamatra, has impressive combat power.

Tighnari, the Forest Watcher, is proficient in plants and toxins.

Alhaitham, the Acting Grand Sage, is at the ceiling of intelligence.

Candace, the protector of Aaru Village, her strength shouldn’t be weaker than Cyno or Alhaitham.

And…

Dehya!

A mercenary of The Eremites, her combat power is also very strong!

Right, bring along that Aranara who can blow up a Ruin Guard with one punch!

Uh…

what was their name again?

‘All these people together should be enough to take down the Akademiya.’

As for the Doctor?

He has too many segments; unless all segments are dealt with, killing one does no good.

Right!

There’s also the Balladeer!

Amid felt it still wasn’t secure enough.

‘Should I…

also call the old man and the Drunkard?

And Ei!’

‘As seniors, isn’t it only right for them to help a junior like Mama Nahida?

Especially Ei!

Her kid has come to Sumeru to act all high and mighty; as the mother, she should take primary responsibility.’

As for how to contact them…

well, he’d figure that out later.

Anyway, with the Traveler around, there’s always a way.

‘In any case, learn Teleport first and take Mama Nahida out!’

Amid made up his mind and began to practice seriously.

The so-called practice was actually attempting to control his Psychic power.

He closed his eyes, concentrated his attention, and felt that invisible force within his body.

‘Move…

move…’

At first, there was no reaction at all.

Amid wasn’t in a hurry.

He knew this kind of thing couldn’t be rushed.

So, he practiced silently while listening to Nahida’s lessons.

A few days later, he made his first discovery.

When he concentrated, he could sense things outside the eggshell.

It wasn’t seeing with eyes—the eggshell was translucent to begin with, so he could see blurry light and shadows—but rather a more direct perception.

He could “feel” where Nahida’s hand was placed on the shell, “feel” the rise and fall of her body as she breathed, and even sense Nahida’s current emotions!

‘Is this Psychic power?’

Amid was both surprised and delighted.

‘Soon, I’ll soon be able to take Mama Nahida out of here.’

A few more days passed, and his Psychic power grew stronger.

He began to try moving things.

Initially, it was the nutrients inside the eggshell.

He used his will to gather them together, then disperse them, then gather them again.

It was like playing with water.

Later, he turned his attention outside the eggshell.

His gaze fell on Nahida’s hair, specifically her side ponytail.

He extended a “tentacle” and gently touched the tip of the ponytail.

The hair swayed slightly.

The sound of Nahida’s teaching paused for a moment.

She looked down at the egg in her arms, found nothing unusual, and continued her lesson.

Amid chuckled to himself.

‘Encore.’

This time, he used a bit more force and gave the ponytail a tug.

Nahida’s voice stopped once more.

She lowered her head, looking at the egg in her arms with a hint of doubt in her eyes.

“Was that…

you just now?”

She held the egg up, bringing it close to her eyes.

Amid wobbled the egg as if nodding.

Nahida’s eyes lit up.

“That was…” she tilted her head and thought, “Mental strength?”

Amid wobbled the egg again.

‘Yes, yes, isn’t Psychic power just Mental strength?!’

Nahida’s smile grew wider and wider.

“How amazing!” She hugged the egg, her tone filled with irrepressible surprise,

“You haven’t even hatched yet, and you can already affect things outside?”

Amid wobbled the egg proudly.

‘Of course, I am Celebi!’

Nahida pressed the egg against her face and nuzzled it.

“My Amid is indeed the most amazing.”

She said softly, her voice filled with pride.

Amid felt a bit embarrassed by the nuzzling.

But his heart felt warm.

‘I was praised.’

‘I was praised by Mama Nahida.’

Holding the egg, Nahida suddenly remembered something.

“Right, since you can use Mental strength, can you…

try to talk to me?”

Amid was taken aback.

Talk?

He really hadn’t thought about that question.

However, in the world of Pokemon, there were indeed some Pokemon that could use Psychic powers to do so.

It was called Telepathy, transmitting one’s thoughts to the other party through Psychic power.

‘Give it a try?’

Amid concentrated, trying to transmit his thoughts using Psychic power.

‘Na…

hi…

da…’

There was no reaction.

He tried again.

‘Na—hi—da—’

Still no reaction.

Amid felt a bit discouraged.

Nahida seemed to sense something and gently stroked the eggshell.

“It’s okay,” she said tenderly,

“Take your time.

Being able to do this much already is very impressive.”

Amid wobbled the egg, indicating “I understand.”
