Aomi wakes up in a chamber in a new body of a young adult.

Nearby, the Winter White Fox was playing on the floor, completely oblivious to its surroundings.

He rubs his temples and slowly rises to his feet, “Perfect. I faked my death and successfully transferred my soul into my second body.”Full novel: GLAUKOS SCURRY — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

He turns toward the table beside him.

A small pouch lays upon it.

Aomi approaches the table then, picks up the pouch, and opens it.

“What do I have left from the Super Resource Point?”

He rummages through its contents, searching for whatever resources that are left.

Suddenly, something pokes him on his foot.

His gaze shifts downward.

The Winter White Fox sits beside him, looking up at him with its little eyes.

…

Aomi kneels down.

“Something wrong?”

He lifts the little fox into his arms.

Just then, its stomach growls.

Aomi stares at it for a moment before cradling it in one arm.

With his free hand, he takes out a chocolate bar and offers it to the fox.

The little creature immediately begins munching on its treat, nestling comfortably in his arm.

Aomi watches it eat surprised at himself, “I never expected knowing recipes would come in handy.”

In his previous life, Aomi had been an ordinary teenage boy with multiple hobbies on Earth.

An accident had brought that life to an abrupt end, transferring his soul into this world.

Yet, even after five hundred years in this unfamiliar land, fragments of his former life remained with him.

Aomi recalls the two things he had done before faking his death.

First, he had used the resources from the Super Resource Point of mount sora hitai to create a second body.

Second, he had refined the Winter White Fox, allowing it to carry his soul into that body.

A faint grin creeps across his face.

He turns toward the mirror.

“So, my plan succeeded.”

He looks at himself, granted with a second life from his own cleverness.

Then smiles, I’m a good artist.

I made this face perfectly like I want ,though my height is still on the short side it’s ok I’m used to it so, it’s an advantage.

Satisfied, he flops into a chair.

The Winter White Fox settles on his lap as he reaches for an orb.

Closing one eye, Aomi peers into it.

The orb reveals the Eastern World,”so what are they doing?”

He watches its scenery pass before his gaze until, eventually, he finds the surviving members of the Thirteen Sects Coalition.

They were celebrating.

Celebrating the death of the Snow Demon.

Aomi watches them through the orb, his expression utterly unimpressed.

“Really? What do they take demons for?”

He let out a sigh.

Five hundred years.

He had spent five hundred years in this world, and yet the memories of his former life on Earth still lingered within him.

His thoughts return to demons.

“They all think demons are nothing but muscle.”

He pinches the bridge of his nose.

“That’s true for some of them, but not all. being a demon doesn’t mean you have to be a brute, butchering everything in sight. That’s reckless, senseless, and bound to create unnecessary trouble.”

Aomi fell silent.

What was the nature of a demon, really?

He taps the now-blank orb, lost in thought.

Then, a feminine voice echoed in his mind.

“Aomi~”

Sweet.

Loving.

Aomi ignores it.

He had no desire to confront the past he had left behind after taking the demonic path.

He rubs his eyes.

“Why does she always keep coming in my mind?”

With that, he tosses the orb back into his pouch then picks up the Winter White Fox and his pouch.

As he walks toward the chamber’s entrance, a thought crosses his mind.

A demon didn’t have to be a brute.

Nor did it have to be cunning, ruthless, or anything else the world expected of it.

A demon simply had to be resilient.

They fought the heavenly court .

They fell but, they just got back up every time.

Aomi opens the door, stepping into the cave he had made his hideout in.

The Winter White Fox slips beneath his robe as he begins making his way toward the surface.

…

Aomi then heads out to navigate a way outside in the cave but, before he gets out, he reviews the qualities of this new body and how he managed to create it as a final check before entering the western world after 1 day and 1 night.

He had optimized the scroll he found and adapts to it which he got it in the left out inheritance of the 4th demonic Zūn, the mecriless demon zūn, Jia dai.

Demonic Zūn are the highest level of a being which matches the heavenly court’s Immortal Zūn.

The thing that differeniates them from immortal zūn is Thier path if it’s righteous or not.

Then the second body had also, been forged using the resources of Mount Sora Hitai’s Super Resource Point, giving it immense potential.

It possessed an extreme physique and In this world only 8 people are born with it.

Aomi had killed one possessing the extreme physique and had refined It into his second body.

The man possessing it, was young.

So, Aomi slaughtered his village then took him out as well since, the person who was unknown to the gift he had and became an easy target for the snow demon.

This body also has the essence of mount Sora hitai the tallest peak.

So, it also possesses powers of snow, frost and ice.

…

After a long journey, he notices a faint light filtering down from above.

On the way his way out to the surface,he emerges out of the cave’s entrance.

The sunlight hits his new body’s skin as he emerges out of the cave in his white robe and red cape which is warm with fur of snow bears sewed to its collar.

When Aomi opens his eyes, he freezes at the sight before him:

the Western World.

There were civilizations which were distinct from the eastern world where he comes from.

There was a different world, different architecture, clothes, lifestyle and people.

…

Someone calls him, ” hey!”

Aomi snaps out of his daze as he looks around for who called out to him.

It was an adult man named Goff, ” are you looking for a place to stay young man?”

He blinks twice seeing Goff, ” who are you?”

Goff was a big man a blacksmith in the kingdom, he laughs seeing his stunned expression, “I’m Goff! Just a blacksmith so, are you going somewhere or are you wandering around?”

Aomi blinks again and just nods then hesitantly answers awkwardly, “I’m lost.”

Goff sees Aomi’s face, then laughs again, “oh! oh! young travellers being lost! that’s common.”

Goff then points at a road gesturing him to follow grinning.

Though Aomi is gaze is unsettling.

He is thinking whether to take his identify or just plan smth else, but for now, he just follows him.

They reach the kingdom sunnaland.

This kingdom’s first king a thousand years ago is said to be a descendent of the Radiant Sun Immortal Zūn, Yào Yáng.

sunnaland was loud, filled with people different than him, there were markets, buildings and decoration he never saw.

Goff smirks as he leads the way to his home then points , ” there it’s my home you can stay untill you want.”

Aomi follows the direction he is pointing and finds a blacksmith shop beside a three storeys of building.

Goff points at the blacksmith,”that’s my shop.” then points at the three storeys building ” and that’s my home.”

Then he opens the door of his house, ” you can live for some days and don’t worry about rent or food.”

Aomi nods and gets in.

…

The sun starts to set, the borders seperating the world into seven called the continental border, sparkles as the sun goes down.

the borders were implied when the heavenly court was made million of years ago to ensure order.

but, above the setting sun and night sky.

The heavenly court is in chaos among themselves as the suggestion to remove the borders get heated.
