Description: This is a Centaur Nest from the Marhan Clan.
...
"The Marhan Clan of the Wild Plains, huh..."
The Battlefield of Myriad Races is boundless.
As a well-known race on the Battlefield of Myriad Races, centaurs also have hierarchies and bloodlines.
There are 325 known centaur clans, and Jiang Chen, being a top student, knows them all by heart.
"A 1% chance to recruit the rare unit Centaur Headman, and a 0.01% chance to recruit the exceptional unit Centaur Leader."
"The Centaur Nest from the Marhan Clan has good production and quality."
He glanced at the recruitment prices.
Centaur Warrior (Elite): Food *200, Energy *500
"Recruit them all!"
[You lost Food *2400, Energy *6000]
At the same time.
Twelve level 1 Centaur Warriors streamed out from the building.
[Centaur Warrior]

...
Looking at the attributes of the Centaur Warriors, Jiang Chen nodded in satisfaction.
A very typical physical unit, tough and resilient.
Jiang Chen followed his own naming rule:
"You are Horse One, you are Horse Two..."
The Empress beside him couldn't help but interject:
"Lord, you are busy with so many affairs, why not leave the naming to me?"
"How could that be?" Jiang Chen frowned, "This is my gift to my subordinates as their lord!"
After naming them.
Dragon Nine happened to return with the Dragon Squad.
"Report to the lord, the enemy has been completely annihilated."
Jiang Chen nodded, opened the battle dynamics, and chose to [Extract All] rewards.

Looking at the terrifying haul, Jiang Chen couldn't help but sigh:
"Killing and arson lead to gold belts, the ancients did not deceive me!"
Besides the regular haul, there was also a precious Book of Physique.
[Book of Physique] (+)(Bound): After use, increases Physique by 1 point. Each unit (lord, hero, unit) can use up to 100 per year.
Attribute book!
This is a rare item with an extremely low drop rate.
He thought of enhancing it, but upon seeing the astronomical number of Spirit Stones required in the enhancement list, he had to give up.
Without hesitation, Jiang Chen slapped it on himself, raising his Physique to 22 points.
Having tasted the sweetness, he immediately ordered:
"Dragon Nine, continue to expand the search area and look for large monster tribes!"
Dragon Nine: "Yes, my lord!"
Eight dragons soared into the sky.
...
Half an hour later.
Jiang Chen returned to the territory with the Empress and the newly recruited Centaur Warriors.
As the territory expanded, occupying resource points increased.
Relying solely on the protection of twelve dragons was already stretched thin.
Therefore, training Centaur Warriors was imperative.
"Quality over quantity, this principle applies in the world of all-lord as well!"
"Not only because of the population cap of the territory."
"But also because when units die in battle, the energy used to upgrade them dissipates!"
This is easy to understand.
A militia requires 7,850 points of energy to reach level 10.
If this militia dies in battle, that energy is essentially wasted.
Thinking of this.
Jiang Chen took out a green shadow.
It was the [Unit Soul] he had just seen drop.
[Elite Unit Soul] (+): Use on ordinary units to advance them to elite units; use on elite units to increase their star level.
He opened the enhancement list.
[Enhancement Direction ①]: Rare Unit Soul, consumes 1,000 Spirit Stones.
[Enhancement Direction ②]: Exceptional Unit Soul, consumes 10,000 Spirit Stones.
[Enhancement Direction ③]: Epic Unit Soul...
Jiang Chen currently possessed: 84,320 Spirit Stones
Since he decided to train elite soldiers, advancing units should be done sooner rather than later.
"Choose Enhancement Direction ①, Rare Unit Soul."
As the light dissipated, Jiang Chen looked at the Unit Soul in his hand, now turned blue.
[Rare Unit Soul]: Use on elite units to advance them to rare units; use on rare units to increase their star level.
"Horse One!"
Hearing Jiang Chen's call, Horse One sensed something, knelt on its forelegs, and said excitedly:
"Lord, Horse One will always be loyal to you!"
Jiang Chen nodded and pressed the Rare Unit Soul onto Horse One's forehead. Read this novel at g.com for the best experience.
[Notice: Your unit Horse One used a Unit Soul and advanced to rare quality]
Although still level 1, Horse One's body swelled, and its base attributes increased by about 30%.
But that wasn't all.
Jiang Chen continued to enhance the [Rare Unit Soul] and used it on Horse One.
[Notice: Your unit Horse One used a Rare Unit Soul, star level increased, currently 2-star rare.]
[Notice:...]
[Notice: Your unit Horse One meets the advancement conditions, advancing to 1-star exceptional.]
Jiang Chen's face showed satisfaction.
A total of 4,000 Spirit Stones and 4 Elite Unit Souls were consumed.
If other lords knew that exceptional units were so cheap, they'd be green with envy.
[Centaur Leader]
Race: Half-Human Race
Level: 1
Quality: Purple Exceptional (☆)
Attributes: Physique 10, Spiritual Power 4, Soul 4, Capacity 5.
Combat Power: 6 stars
Skills: [Volley Arrows] [Charge] [Savage Stomp]
Horse One flexed its solid muscles:
"Lord, if I faced my former self, I could take on dozens."
The companions beside it looked on with envy.
But soon.
Their envy was quickly replaced by joy.
"Continue to enhance the Rare Unit Soul..."
In the end, Jiang Chen consumed 48,000 Spirit Stones and 48 Unit Souls, advancing the entire squad of centaurs to exceptional quality.
Beep beep beep—
A video request suddenly popped up.
An Chuxia's avatar flashed frantically in the lower right corner of the screen.
As soon as Jiang Chen connected, An Chuxia said anxiously:
"Jiang Chen, check the Regional Channel!"
Jiang Chen was puzzled: "What's up with the Regional Channel?"
An Chuxia widened her eyes: "The Crusade Token!"
Jiang Chen realized: "Oh."
"What do you mean 'oh'? The battle starts in two minutes, don't tell me you forgot."
Jiang Chen shrugged.
"Well, how should I put it..."
He hadn't exactly forgotten, but he hadn't taken it seriously either.
The Empress had already reached level 4, with combat power nearing a hundred stars.
With just the Empress alone, no matter how many troops Li Muze sent, they'd all perish!
An Chuxia, however, was worried:
"That idiot Li Muze is live streaming on the Regional Channel, he's determined to humiliate you!"
"Live streaming?" Jiang Chen frowned, "What a wastrel!"
Even a small-town level live stream costs 10 Spirit Stones per minute.
Of course, if there are fan donations, it might be possible to earn it back.
