25 minutes later,
He was vanished from the magma land and appeared in a dense forest type battlefield.
Arthur looked ahead.
Then he took a deep breath, his knuckles whitening around the hilts of his twin daggers as he looked at the massive array of bosses scattered throughout the dense, ancient forest. Floating high above the center of the canopy was the Mythical boss, a gigantic, luminous butterfly looked like a wooden statue. It sat completely motionlessly in statue mode, waiting for the floor beneath it to be cleared.
In the previous rounds, Arthur would have immediately activated stealth, slipped through the shadows, and executed the lower grade bosses as quickly as possible to save time for the main fight. This time, he completely discarded that strategy. He needed live targets to test Cellular Level Body Control, and these sixty two bosses were the perfect training grounds.
Arthur focused inward, feeling the complex web of his nervous system and the millions of cells pulsing beneath his skin. With a simple thought, he activated the Attribute Regulator function.
He shifted eighty percent of his total stats into Agility, leaving his Strength, Mana and Vitality at absolute bare minimum levels. Only kept the defence high enough, so that his body could take the pressure that was about to come.
The world around him instantly slowed to a crawl. Raindrops hanging from the leaves seemed to stop mid-air, and the sixty two bosses moving toward him appeared as completely static figures.
Arthur moved.
He did not just run; he pierced the atmosphere like a railgun projectile. His body surged forward at nearly 4.5 thousand kilometers per hour. Within a fraction of a millisecond, he closed the distance on a cluster of thirty two Common bosses, each possessing five thousand HP.
As he arrived right in front of the first group, Arthur reallocated his attributes in a microsecond. The overwhelming Agility stat vanished, instantly flooding into his Strength.
His muscles surged with insane, concentrated power. Arthur drove his dagger straight into the chest of the monster.
The kinetic force of moving at thousands of kilometers per hour, combined with over five thousand attributes concentrated entirely into Strength and amplified by his Epic daggers, produced a terrifying impact.
A localized sonic boom erupted. The first Common boss was instantly vaporized into blood mist. The sheer shockwave tore through the air, ripping through the surrounding thirty one Common bosses and completely pulverizing their HP bars before they even realized the fight had begun.
He stopped immediately. His body suddenly felt disarrayed.
He took a deep breath to calm his mind from excitement.
"Roar!
The other bosses finally reacted but Arthur already calmed down.
" Let’s go again."
Agility again.
Arthur transformed into an invisible golden blur, zig-zagging through the massive trunks of the forest. He deliberately targeted the sixteen Elite bosses, each holding roughly twenty five thousand HP.
Instead of attacking them one by one, Arthur began experimenting with fluid attribute transitions mid-movement. As he sprinted toward an Elite boss, he kept his stats in Agility, then shifted sixty percent to Strength and forty percent to Defence a split second before impact, striking the target and immediately bouncing off toward the next target like a high-speed pinball.
Slash.
Slash.
Slash.
He moved so fast that sixteen distinct red damage numbers appeared at the exact same millisecond across different parts of the forest. The Elite bosses collapsed into grey dust all at once.
Arthur landed lightly on a heavy oak branch, his heart pounding violently against his ribs. The intense heat generated by shifting hundreds of attributes per millisecond was putting an enormous strain on his body. Because he lowered his Vitality and Defence to push his Agility to the absolute maximum, the friction of the air alone threatened to tear his skin apart if he miscalculated the timing by even a fraction of a second.
He gritted his teeth and focused deeper into his cellular network, adjusting his nervous system to accelerate the signal transmission between his brain and his muscles.
Below him, the eight Royal bosses with six hundred twenty five thousand HP each, and four Legendary bosses with over three million HP were locking onto his position.
The two epic bosses finally launched their long distance attacks as well.
Arthur channeled almost all of his attributes into Agility once more, leaving just enough in Vitality to keep his lungs from collapsing under the acceleration.
Arthur launched himself off the branch and dodged the energy blast from the two epic bosses.
The tree beneath him detonated into splinters from the launch force.
He blitzed directly toward the group of eight Royal bosses. As he reached the first one, he shifted ninety percent of his attributes into Strength. The sudden stop from maximum velocity to maximum power created a massive kinetic explosion.
Arthur swung his left dagger in a wide horizontal arc.
The strike generated a crescent shaped shockwave of sheer physical force that sliced through four Royal bosses at once, dealing over four million damage and instantly clearing their massive HP pools.
Without pausing, Arthur redirected his attributes back into Agility, using the recoil of his own swing to throw himself toward the remaining four Royal bosses.
He became a whirlwind of raw kinetic energy. Every time he moved, he was a ghost of sheer swiftness; every time he struck, he was an absolute titan of pure physical power. He constantly regulated his attributes back and forth, matching the exact power output required for each specific tier of boss.
He could feel his body was getting adjusted quickly under such intense pressure.
He killed the remaining four Royal bosses in under two seconds.
The four Legendary bosses, each possessing over six hundred thousand HP, roared and unleashed a barrage of targeted spell fire and heavy physical attacks toward him.
Arthur did not dodge using stealth. Instead, he channeled ninety percent of his attributes into Agility, effortlessly gliding between the magical projectiles as if they were stationary objects. He arrived behind the first Legendary boss, shifted everything into Strength, and drove his daggers deep into its spine.
Four million damage. The first Legendary boss collapsed.
He pushed off the falling body, shifted to Agility to instantly reach the second and third Legendary bosses, shifted to Strength, and executed a double cross slash.
Boom.
Two more massive Legendary bosses hit the dirt, their HP instantly depleted to zero.
The fourth Legendary boss attempted to swing its massive club, but Arthur shifted eighty percent into Agility, ran straight up the club, shifted ninety percent into Strength at the apex of his arc, and brought both daggers down through the monster’s skull.
The impact split the giant boss cleanly in half, cratering the earth beneath it.
Now, only the two Epic bosses, each possessing three point five million HP, stood near the roots of the giant central tree. One was a towering wooden golem wrapped in razor-sharp vines, while the other was a colossal, six-legged obsidian mantis whose scythes glinted with green venom.
Arthur did not pause to let them frame an attack. He lowered his center of gravity, adjusted his breathing, and focused completely on the inner workings of his body.
By directing signals through his central nervous system at sub-millisecond speeds, Arthur could overcharge specific muscle groups, compress his internal mass, and instantly eliminate the momentum delay that normally occurred during sudden direction changes.
Arthur shifted ninety percent of his attributes into Agility.
The air around him cracked like a lightning strike. In a fraction of a microsecond, Arthur vanished.
He reappeared directly above the wooden golem. As he fell, he executed an instantaneous biological conversion. The trillions of cells in his upper body compressed, shifting seventy percent of his total stats directly into Strength, twenty percent into Agility, and leaving a razor-thin ten percent across his remaining attributes.
Because the transition happened mid-air, the kinetic energy from his five-thousand-kilometer-per-hour acceleration was completely trapped and converted into downward momentum.
Arthur struck downward with both daggers.
Slash.
-4,200,000 HP.
The force of the strike did not just cut through the golem; the transferred kinetic impact caused the golem’s cellular structure to disintegrate from the inside out. The colossal wooden monster exploded into millions of wooden splinters before its HP bar could even process the hit.
The momentum from that brutal downward strike should have slammed Arthur into the dirt, leaving him vulnerable for a counterattack. However, before his feet touched the ground, he redistributed his stats again.
He flooded eighty-five percent of his attributes into Agility while simultaneously using Cellular Body Control to flex his lower calf muscles in exact opposition to his falling angle.
The ground did not break beneath him. Instead, Arthur instantly canceled his downward velocity and shot horizontally across the grass like a ricocheting bullet.
The obsidian mantis swung its massive poisonous scythe downward, tearing a massive fissure through the earth where Arthur had stood a millisecond prior.
Arthur was already behind it.
He drove his daggers toward the mantis’s neck joint. Mid-swing, he altered his attribute distribution twice in rapid succession.
Slash.
-3,800,000 HP.
The obsidian mantis was sliced clean in half. The massive head tumbled to the forest floor, its red eyes fading into lifelessness.
Silence fell over the ancient woodland.
Arthur landed lightly on his feet, his breath coming in steady, controlled rhythm. His skin was flushed red from the intense thermal output generated by rapid cellular regulation, but his movement was entirely free of wasted effort. By constantly manipulating his attributes to match the exact millisecond of impact and movement, he had turned his own body into the ultimate biological weapon.
Above the canopy, the giant wooden statue began to crack violently.
[Ding! The Mythical boss is awakening.]
Arthur looked up as the giant wooden shell shattered into pieces, exposing the shimmering, luminous wings of the Mythical butterfly. A cold smile spread across his face as his cells began to shift once again.
