“Our young master is very handsome, isn’t he?”
“Hmm…” I subconsciously replied.
“That’s why girls often fall here.”
I froze and turned in panic towards the uncle driver. His usually satisfied, simple smile disappeared, and a foxy smile replaced it.
“But I’m not!” I retorted.
“I can see that. You seem like a mortal.” The uncle turned his face to me, smiling and surveying me. His eyes narrowed and sharpened, glinting with a deep light.
“What do you mean like? I am!” I was about to explain more when a white python flew over us, bringing a huge gust of air that lifted my long hair. I stared in awe at the large, white python that slowly stopped beside us.
Si Yinuo rode on it in his black martial arts clothes, and his face was still mostly covered by his white hair, only revealing a pair of timid, slightly amber eyes.
“Xuan… Xuanyuan senior! I’m sorry…” After he finished, he hurriedly waved at me, afraid of the tall, handsome, cold emperor behind me. “Sister Xiao Lan, let’s go! If Senior Xuanyuan becomes upset, he’ll kick you out of school!”
“What? It’s only my first day!” f*ck me, I couldn’t get kicked out on my first day of school, that would be too humiliating!
“Shhh!” Afraid of the temper of the person behind me, Si Yinuo shushed me, and I shut up. Since this was the Academy of Gods and Demons, it was safe to assume that there were many real descendants of Gods here!
It was difficult enough to offend all the “big gods” on Earth, let alone the real ones here! Even a minor God here could turn me into an ant or something. I would be the porter for mother nature.
I got up and climbed out of the car. Si Yinuo reached out to me, pulling me. I rode behind him, and I realized that he was cool to the touch and slender, just like my sixteen-year-old neighbor next door.
Oh! It seems… like his body is… also soft.
When the big, white python landed on the ground, my legs went weak, and I fell, kneeling down. This was happening not because of fear… but from wanting to vomit…
“Urk!” The event was so much more exciting than a roller coaster ride! Father would probably not worry about me being chosen again, I wasn’t even sure if I could stay alive here, okay?!
‘“Are you alright?” Feng Lingcan and Bai Ying came running towards me, worried.
“Fusu was over the top! If no one caught you… you would turn into mash!” Bai Ying’s words didn’t help to comfort me. My body trembled, and my face probably went another point whiter as I recalled the pile of pâté I recently watched in Ant-Man.
“Let me help you.” Feng Lingcan came over, wanting to help me, but I immediately got up and raised my hand.
Feng Lingcan laughed lightly, and shook his head while Bai Ying gave him a sudden look.
I turned and walked away, heading to the city gate where everyone was heading with their luggage in tow. Following them, Si Yinuo caught up with me and said, “Sister Xiaolan, let’s go together! Wait for me!
“Yes.” His big white python became the size of a white snake again and wrapped itself around his body. Even Si Yinuo was so powerful, with his own flying beast. I really didn’t understand what this academy wanted with me, a mere mortal? For me to lose face? For fun?
“Bang–” Suddenly, I hit what seemed to be an invisible glass, and I became dizzy.
Si Yinuo, on the other hand, walked through the gate and turned back to look at me in surprise. “Sister xiaolan… what happened to you? What’s wrong with you?”
His voice sounded hollow, and I crouched down, covering my head in pain. What is this again?!
What’s hey benning?! (What’s happening?)
“Sister Xiaolan? Sister Xiaolan?!” Si Yinuo ran to me, and shook my shoulders. People walked by, laughing and giggling, looking at me.
“What’s going on?” Feng Lingcan asked with concern as he came to my side. How can I get rid of them?
“Sister Xiaolan can’t get in the boundary,” Si Yinuo replied timidly with his head bowed.
“Xiaolan?”
“En, sister’s name is Xia Xiaolan ……”
“Okay, I know. You go ahead and report, I’ll take care of it here.”
“Got it… Sister Xiaolan, bye!” Si Yinuo walked away.
I covered my head. I really wanted to tell him not to go, but I was afraid that if I opened my mouth, I would shout in pain. Shame on me! I didn’t want to be a laughingstock for this group of young gods and goddesses again.
Feng Lingcan laughed beside me. I lowered my head, glaring at him fiercely. Suddenly, he leaned down and caressed my forehead. I froze as his hand touched the back of my hand that was covering my forehead. The warmth of his hand made my heart skip a beat for a moment.
My body tensed when I felt a slight warmth coursing to my forehead through the back of my hand, and the pain faded away. He withdrew his hand. I checked my forehead, and to my surprise, the slight swelling on it disappeared.
“You’re not wearing your badge?” Feng Lingcan gently asked.
He straightened his body, looking at me with gentle eyes and replied, “You’re a new student. You received an envelope, aka, admission letter.”
I thought for a moment and remembered something, “Oh!”
I hurriedly took off my backpack, opened it, and pulled out an envelope. “Is this it? But I can’t open it.”
A red shadow swept past my eyes, it was Fusu’s long, red scarf. He glanced at me and raised his brow. “Are you really a freshman? Or are you just pretending?”
I didn’t bother to look at him, and waved him away.
Feng Lingcan’s face sank. “Fusu, next time, don’t joke like this! People will die because of you.”
“Ha!” Fusu wrapped his arms around his chest and glanced at Feng Lingcan. The corners of his mouth curled up in a contemptuous smile, and he said, “In the Immortal Domain, I’ve only heard of people dying by getting laid and too much pleasure. I’ve never heard of anyone falling to their death. And didn’t someone fished her out already?”
Bed?!!!
These gods here are so matured, so adult-like.
I was an adult, too!
But why do I still feel like there was something wrong?
Weren’t the gods in the book not allowed to mess around?
Feng Lingcan’s face sank and looked away. He didn’t even glance at Fusu.
Fusu glanced at us, laughed contemptuously, turned and flew away. His red scarf fluttered in the wind, and his handsome figure caused the girls to scream crazily as he passed by.
Fusu was so popular.
I thought the gods would be different from us mortals, or at least not as superficial as us humans. But it turned out they were just like us, they judged based on people’s faces, too.
Feng Lingcan smiled again, and stated, “Don’t pay attention to him, and avoid him from now on.”
“Don’t worry! I will!” I don’t even need you to remind me!
