The Iron Settlement continued to grow with every passing month.

What was once a rough camp surrounded by wooden fences had transformed into something almost unrecognizable.

Stone roads stretched throughout the expanding territory while markets remained crowded from morning until night.Full novel: GOT Kingdom Building System — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

New homes rose constantly near the outer districts, and smoke from furnaces filled the skies above the industrial quarter.

Even the atmosphere felt different now.

Safer.

Warmer.

Alive.

Kaelen stood atop the outer wall early one morning while silently observing the city below.

Fifteen thousand people.

Sometimes even he struggled to believe it.

Children ran through the streets carrying copper coins while merchants argued loudly over prices in the market district.

Soldiers patrolled in organized groups while workers transported stone using massive buffalo wagons.

Civilization.

That was the only word that truly fit anymore.

Not a camp.

Not a tribe.

Certainly not a mere settlement.

Kaelen narrowed his eyes slightly.

“The Iron Settlement…”

The name no longer fit.

At first, the name made sense.

Back then:

• they were small

• survival mattered most

• iron production changed everything

But now?

Kaelrith had become far more than furnaces and roads.

It had become home.

Later that afternoon, Kaelen summoned the council once again.

Inside the large stone hall, familiar faces gathered around the central table.

Lucian Veris quietly organized several reports while reading through trade records.

Mira Stoneveil leaned over new construction maps with visible exhaustion beneath her eyes.

Ragnar Stone sat casually near the window eating roasted meat again.

Meanwhile:

• Borin

• Tomas

• Darian

• Kael all slowly settled into their seats.

Kaelen looked around the room calmly.

“I want to discuss something important.”

Ragnar raised an eyebrow.

“More laws?”

“No.”

Kaelen looked toward the window overlooking the massive city outside.

“Our name.”

The room became quiet.

Lucian tilted his head slightly.

“The Iron Settlement?”

Kaelen nodded once.

“When we first built this place…”

“That name fit.”

“We were small.”

“Focused only on survival.”

He turned back toward everyone.

“But now?”

Kaelen gestured toward the city beyond the walls.

“We have roads.”

“Markets.”

“Houses.”

“Laws.”

“Currency.”

“A military.”

“Healing centers.”

“Libraries.”

“This is no longer merely a settlement.”

The room slowly fell into thought.

Mira nodded first.

“He’s right.”

Borin grunted.

“The city’s too big for that old name now.”

Even Ragnar surprisingly agreed.

“People already call it different names outside the walls.”

Kael leaned against the table thoughtfully.

“Most new tribes just call it Kaelrith.”

Kaelen’s eyes shifted toward him.

“Explain.”

Kael shrugged slightly.

“They know this land belongs to Kaelrith.”

“They don’t really understand what Kaelrith means exactly…”

“…but to them, this place itself is Kaelrith.”

The room became quiet again.

Kaelen slowly leaned back.

Interesting.

The people didn’t know the truth.

To them—

Kaelrith simply meant:

their land.

Their home.

Their civilization.

And honestly?

Kaelen liked that.

Lucian spoke carefully.

“A name carries identity.”

The scholar’s voice remained calm but thoughtful.

“When people hear ‘Iron Settlement,’ they imagine a mining camp.”

“But Kaelrith…”

He looked toward the city outside.

“…sounds like something larger.”

Mira folded her arms.

“It sounds like a nation.”

Ragnar suddenly grinned.

“Or an empire.”

Kaelen chuckled quietly.

“Not yet.”

The giant warrior shrugged.

“Eventually.”

No one argued against that.

Because deep down— everyone in that room already understood.

Kaelrith would continue growing.

Nothing could stop that anymore.

The discussion continued for hours afterward.

Different names were suggested.

Some wanted:

• Ironhold

• New Dawn

• Stonehaven

• Kingdom of the Plains

But none felt right.

Eventually, Kaelen spoke again.

“We keep Kaelrith.”

The room looked toward him.

“But officially…”

He paused briefly.

“…the Village of Kaelrith.”

Silence followed.

Then slowly—

Lucian smiled faintly.

Mira nodded.

Borin grunted approvingly.

Even Ragnar looked satisfied.

The Village of Kaelrith.

Simple.

Strong.

Meaningful.

And more importantly— it carried the identity of their growing civilization itself.

Kaelen looked around the room quietly.

“As we continue expanding…”

“As our people grow…”

“We may eventually become something greater.”

His eyes sharpened slightly.

“Then one day…”

“…we will become the Kingdom of Kaelrith.”

The words settled heavily across the hall.

Kingdom.

Not settlement.

Not tribe.

A kingdom.

For several moments, nobody spoke.

Because for the first time— the future suddenly felt very real.

The official announcement was made three days later.

Massive banners were raised across the city while soldiers organized crowds throughout the central district.

People filled the streets quickly.

Fifteen thousand citizens.

Different tribes.

Different histories.

Yet now— all standing beneath one banner.

Kaelen stepped onto the central stone platform while the crowd slowly quieted.

Wind moved through his dark cloak as he looked across the countless faces before him.

Some had followed him since the early days.

Others arrived recently.

But all of them had helped build this civilization together.

Kaelen spoke calmly.

“…we were survivors.”

The crowd remained silent.

“We built walls.”

“We hunted for food.”

“We fought monsters.”

“We struggled simply to live.”

People nodded quietly.

Many still remembered those brutal early years clearly.

Kaelen continued.

“But now?”

He gestured toward the massive city surrounding them.

“Look around you.”

Stone buildings rose proudly behind him.

Roads stretched endlessly through the city.

Markets remained crowded.

Smoke from industry filled the skies.

Children laughed through the streets.

Civilization.

Real civilization.

Kaelen’s voice grew stronger.

“This place is no longer merely the Iron Settlement.”

The crowd stirred slightly.

“From this day onward…”

“…this city shall officially be known as—”

He paused briefly.

“The Village of Kaelrith.”

Silence.

Then slowly— the crowd began repeating the name.

“Kaelrith…”

“The Village of Kaelrith…”

“It sounds good…”

Soon the murmurs became louder.

Proud.

Excited.

People smiled while speaking the new name aloud.

Because unlike Iron Settlement— this name belonged to everyone.

Not merely workers.

Not merely blacksmiths.

Everyone.

Kaelen watched the reactions quietly.

Then continued.

“One day…”

His voice echoed across the district clearly.

“We will grow further.”

“We will expand.”

“We will unite more people.”

“And when that day comes…”

Kaelen’s eyes sharpened powerfully.

“…the world will know the Kingdom of Kaelrith.”

The crowd erupted instantly.

Cheers exploded across the streets.

Weapons rose into the air.

People shouted proudly.

“KAELRITH!”

“KAELRITH!”

“KAELRITH!”

Even Kaelen himself felt something stir inside his chest while hearing those voices.

Because for the first time— this no longer felt like merely his dream.

It belonged to the people now too.

That night, Kaelen stood alone atop the highest watchtower in the city.

Below him, torchlights illuminated the growing Village of Kaelrith beautifully beneath the darkness.

The city felt endless compared to the lonely wilderness he first arrived in years ago.

Roads.

Markets.

Homes.

Libraries.

Barracks.

Farms.

And thousands of lives.

Kaelen slowly smiled faintly.

The Iron Settlement was gone.

In its place— the Village of Kaelrith had risen.

And one day…

the Kingdom of Kaelrith would follow.
