I race out of my room and the castle is already in chaos, while nobody is running down my corridor, the usual business in the adjoining halls has magnified unbelievably. People are running back and forth in a disorganized mess, carrying various supplies.
I quickly realize that I won't be able to efficiently navigate the mess and hop into the air gliding smoothly along the ceiling before I find a window to swoop out. I climb up to the height of the castle walls and from there scan to find semblance of our leadership. I manage to spot Captain Salem barking out orders and I glide over to him.
He's sweating and looks extremely stressed. The looks fades slightly as he seems greatly relieved to see me, "Oh good, you're finally here. What the hells took you so long."
"Beauty sleep." I give a sheepish grin.
Captain Salem shakes his head and finally says, "We're going to need a lot of help today. They brought their entire army and there's those things too. Whatever the hells they are." He points off into the distance. Purple fleshed hulking masses of muscles are surrounding Prince Leon's banner. There's 4 of them and each step they take creates a small rumble. They stand 15 feet tall and must be almost 10 feet wide.
I rip my attention off them and dispel 6 or 7 fireballs hurtling towards the walls, focusing on The Wizard of Ames and his lackeys. I throw a bolt of lightning at them that is quickly deflected by their magical shield wall.
I look to Captain Salem and quickly spout, "Don't send an advance troops yet. I've got something up my sleeve."
I haven't seen Ruby the Red Mage today at all. I wonder if she went back to Hell for something? Maybe she is just trying to make sure I have as much magical reserves as I possibly can. Either way I can't afford to think about her anymore. I have a losing battle to win first.
I launch myself off the castle wall towards the epicenter of magic.
The Wizard of Ames throws a fireball at me. I dispel it inches from my face feeling the flames and the smoke dissipate and the fading heat rolls across my face.
He smirks at me, nodding his head in approval. "I see you've become a worthy advisory for me in such a short time boy."
Oh it's fucking on. He's still mumbling some bullshit about 'coming to my senses', 'joining the winning side', and 'being mentored by true wisdom'.
I cut him off with a quick retort, "You see the main advantage of fighting for a little sniveling asshole of a prince rather than your", and a gesture to the army surrounding us, "mister call for arms is that I don't need to worry about god damn anybody but that little shit."
He's taken aback, "W-what do you mean?". He can tell I'm channeling some type of fuckery, or at the very least a rather large spell.
I utter,
In the calm there is storm
words flow, rivers form
strong power from the depths of space
battle with me and your help erased
I call upon the openings of the sky
the rock pulled down from high
"Look up you transphobic bitch. My battle ain't with you, I got better places to be."
The Wizard of Ames looks up, his gaze is met with horror. The clouds part allowing for the astonishing view to take place. A hulking fiery meteor the size of the castle hurtles downward, casting a shadow over the entire army.
I zip past him as he struggles to careen the meteor backwards, away from his precious army. I see the ground beneath his feet start to crack and give, he's sunk up to his knees into the dirt. The Wizard of Ames begins to yell at his lackeys for magical support. They all struggle to slow down the massive hunk of flaming rock. Well that's good, should give Salem and the rest plenty of breathing room.
I chuckle to myself, Besides those fuckers don't look ready in the slightest for the second one. It's even bigger than the first. Hehehehe.
I ascend into the air slightly, making eye contact with Prince Leon. He's much more put together than my prince, but he's also capitalizing off transphobia so it wouldn't hurt to rearrange his face and brain quite a bit.
I hurtle down towards him before I'm met midair with a purple fist the size of my body. Time slow. I wriggle around it chopping off the entire arm in one go. Even with time slowed I can't even see the arm regenerate.
Must be a fucking gift from Mother Death. How fun.
I whir around the 4 creatures with ease, but the prince has escaped me. Oh well, I can find him later. I should deal with these for now. Experimentation time! Such lovely subjects. If they're undead and special gifts from Mother Death, I imagine they'll be weak to flames.
Burning flesh, cinder, ash
Make a whip spark and lash
Lava and magma for tassles
Incinerate these necrotic assholes
A massive pillar of flame shoots from the ground completely devouring the purple freak turning him entirely into ash. But from that ash arms and legs emerge. Quickly growing the rest of the body before lastly the head pops up on top like a ripe zit. I see now the head is the most useless thing possible.
I would chuckle but I have more pressing issues now. I fly about 40 feet into the air before noticing that all 4 purple men are following me. They have no magic themselves. Only the gravity defying quad muscles viscously pumping their thick legs into a blur.
I stop my ascent, letting them surround me in the air. What to do now? They seem immune to fire. But in the end nothing is immune to everything. Otherwise Mother Death herself would like exactly like these muscle bound freaaaks.
I throw lightning, ice, I crush with rocks and smoldering boulders, I drown with lava, poison, and acid. In the end nothing works. They just continue to regenerate.
The 4 finally catch up to me swinging their hammer-like fists into my shield wall sending me flying. All apart of the plan naturally, giving myself some space to think. Some nicely donated velocity.
Hmmmmm. I can't come up with anything. I'm fucking stumped. That's when I notice it. The ever slightest difference in color. The purple haze surrounding the quartet has gotten just marginally lighter. More science experiments simply must ensure. If these fuckers aren't weak to any type of magic. Perhaps, they are weak to the damage in general. Just rather than dying like a normal critter would, their necrotic abomination requires death ten thousand fold.
The only issue with implementing this plan is based off the magic I've used and the life these bastards seem to still have. I'm about 5 or 6 of my entire magic reserves short of being able to see this shit through.
How to best conserve with my magic? MM was the last to teach me things like that. But I don't see the principle of using raw magical power being enough, it would only extend my tanks by a few measures, not magnify them exponentially.
An evil bastardly thought comes to mind. Yes, yes that indeed could work. It would be magnificent.
I wait and I lure. Dodging the heavy blows over and over, I've forgone my Time Slow in favor of conservation. I frustrate my opponent, lulling them into their own rage as they narrowly miss again and again. They start to stagger over each other, bumping and stumbling as their desperation grows. Finally the moment dawns.
All 4 of them try to attack me at once. I'm met with the beauty of opportunity and I'm swift in my uptake. I clasp all 4 of their wrists together in a magical bind.
Time for the show to start.
I still worry my mana isn't enough but worrying has no space or use in my head now. I swallow it and open my mind to destructive devastation.
A bright orange glow appears from the center of their cuff. The heat begins to melt their hands allowing a path for escape. But I can't allow that. I push them them inward creating a new point of gravity directly in the center of my small Sun.
I stress and push urging their masses to feed the ball of anger, rage, and most importantly unbelievable temperature. At once they are eaten up by the searing, blinding ball of yellow, orange, and red. It emits flares of excess energy, spewing hot rays all over the battlefield. But that's a waste of my reserves so I comb through the energy to make it perfectly distributed.
The dance begins.
Over and over. Reforming, burning, reforming burning. Death, undeath, death, undeath.
The necrotic beasts melt together, forming at their core. I definitely need to kill them now or I may have given Mother Death's undying servants a fucking upgrade. Plus I don't want to see how much more ugly they could possibly become.
I fall to the ground with the latest greatest competition for the sun. The head is unbearable but all I can worry about if funneling each and every fiber of magic into it. The smell of the fuel of those bastard is horrendous and the orb of heat has grown to be about 10 feet wide to comfortably fit their permanent melted together state.
After several minutes of witnessing their forms attempt to take any possible state, liquid, gas, solid, melted together, clawing apart. The movement finally stops. The only reason I kept going as long as I did was the faint purple glow getting lighter and lighter, but even that I couldn't rely on as within the orb of heat it was so hard to fucking see. I was really tweaking that it might have just been my eyes deceiving me with visions they wanted to see or even just a trick of the light.
But now, I'm finally alone again. Those bastards are just an ugly, bubbling, lifeless goo on the ground.
I even managed to keep about 5% of my magic too. Yeah sure my entire body aches and I feel like I just spent that last hour doing laps on top of the Sun. But that shit is over now. I did it. Take that Mother Death!
A shadow blots out the sky. Ah perfect timing, it's both of my fucking asteroids.
I see The Wizard of Ames managed to finally upheave them and threw them directly at me. Two massive smoldering rocks coming right at me.
God the wizards of this kingdom are so fucking stupid. This is my own spell jackass. I leap into the air revitalizing my river with a beautiful stream of renewed magic all at the cost of not getting fucking crushed.
Unfortunately a good deal of the rock's had burned away so I wasn't able to regain nearly as much magic as I was used to from Ruby the Red Mage's grueling training. But it'll do.
Luckily for me it appears that The Wizard of Ames is still greatly pissed at me and is now making my job a bit easier by closing the gap between myself and him... and all his lackeys.
How to take down a wizard with greater magical reserves than me... and 10 of his subordinates.
I glance back towards the pile of bubbling goo and I get quite the reckless thought. I could always try to redo what Mother Death did. The material is properly primed for it too. I can still see the necrotic juices leaking out.
Hopefully I can spit a few verses that don't get me and everyone here killed. Hopefully.
As The Wizard of Ames nears I drop to the ground and evoke the last of my magic,
Bring back what was gone
Make me into the fawn
Merge the 4 into 1
Souls elope for the fun
Use what's left of this magic
Before it loses to the tragic
Fate it was forced to be had
Let's reforge sad into glad
The bubbling goo begins to glow a bright white causing The Wizard of Ames and the rest to halt in their track, covering their eyes.
The goo begins to stretch upwards shaping into a behemoth outline before grossing filling in. The glow rescinds finally showing what the creature has become.
Well fucking hell it's ugly.
The behemoth stands at a staggering 30 feet tall and is 15 feet wide. Hands that are bigger than I am. No feet, just legs apparently.
The goo didn't really go away. Honestly, there's hardly any transformation I can tell in a vast majority of the substance that makes up the creatures body. It appears that some of the goo solidified making out a poorly constructed eyes, nose, and mouth. As well as fingernails because why not I guess.
I quickly hop behind the creature telling it to beat up the bad guys and pointing towards The Wizard of Ames.
Not something I did not witness with the other 4 happens. The creature responds... vocally. A low growling, raspy voice.
"Yes, Mama."
I blink as I take in the information. Ok, so I'm a mother now. That's sure exciting and new. Not gonna even try to let that information sink in until this fucking battle is through. One last horrible thought hits me in the face before I close off the subject, Does this mean I've co-made a parent with Mother Death. Is Mother Death my baby mama? Honestly it's a win for the lesbians knowing two women had a kid.
The beast slowly staggers towards The Wizard of Ames. Oh goodness are they just going to avoid him? Was it all for not? But thankfully the wizard is full of ego and begins to fire his useless magic into my... child.
Ripples in the goo appear, some steaming smoking holes alight but as time ticks on they reform with no noticeable change. Too little, too late The Wizard of Ames beckons his crew to move but in a sudden speedy move my child shoot out streams of goo from his palm, covering each wizard. And that's not all. A wispy steam trails upwards from each of them as the goo severely burns their flesh rendering all of them dead.
Oh I made this thing way more deadly, this is fucked up. I'm gonna have to teach this kid some serious manners.
The rest of the army slowly backs away from us but I don't care. I see my target. Marching up to him with my monstrously large child behind me.
Prince Leon quickly drops his sword in front of me, professing his surrender.
"Please, please... I don't want a fate like that. I give up." He raises his hands in the air as if trying to show me just how much of a non-threat he is.
I look behind us and see the castle walls have been breached, looks like the fight may have closer than Prince Rythel's cowardly ass liked. I can't wait to hear his bitch ass whine.
I just shrug at Prince Leon, "I don't know that I have the qualifications to accept a surrender. I just might have to take a leg... or two." I tease him.
His eyes go wide and he drops to his knees grasping at my skirt pleading, "I beg of you mighty wizard, I'll even aid my younger brother in this fight."
I continue to tease him, "As if that isn't the bare minimum?"
Tears are freely flowing from his eyes, "I just... please... anything but facing the wrath of that-that thing."
"I'll have you know this is my baby and I take a great amount of offence to hear my child described as a thing. For that, I shall punish you."
Prince Leon screams in terror as I drag him by his ear to the castle.
Well I've had my fun, time to check out what the rest of the battle was like. I sure hope Captain Salem is alright.
