“Prometheus, your father…

he…”

On a certain sacred mountain, the gentle ocean goddess Clymene trembled as she asked the white-robed youth before her.Full novel: Greek Mythology: I Am the Master of Fate — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Her eyes were slightly red, filled with stubborn disbelief.

“Mother Goddess, Father God has already been thrown into the earth by the King of the Gods and stuffed back into the Mother Goddess’s womb.”

A slightly immature voice sounded behind Clymene, tinged with helplessness.

It was a boy who looked about five or six years old, somewhat resembling Prometheus — but his serious expression just didn’t match his youthful face at all.

This boy was none other than the god of hindsight, Epimetheus.

His law was to know everything that had already happened in the world, corresponding to Prometheus’s prophecy.

In theory, if these twin brothers shared information, they could directly become all-knowing.

But because Prometheus had taken his divine power in the womb, Epimetheus’s growth rate was extremely slow.

Even after hundreds of years, he still looked like he wouldn’t grow up.

However, his mind matured significantly with age — which caused Epimetheus to often act like a little boy and speak mature things, which felt awkward no matter how you looked at it.

“Shut up, Epimetheus!

I’m talking to your brother Prometheus!”

Clymene rebuked irritably.

Her emotions were clearly very unstable now — the disappearance of her husband Iapetus had made her extremely worried.

“Exactly, exactly.

When adults talk, kids shouldn’t butt in.”

Atlas, the heaven-bearing god personally appointed by Uranus, also chimed in from the side.

He greatly disliked the twins Prometheus and Epimetheus, and always spoke against them whenever he had the chance.

Epimetheus frowned at these words and was about to fight back…

“Atlas, shut up too!

All of you — shut up!”

Clymene irritably interrupted the two troublesome children, then looked unwillingly at the white-robed youth before her, his eyes full of hope:

“Prometheus, tell me — where has your father gone?”

In Clymene’s eyes, Prometheus was an extremely intelligent sage — even able to offer advice to the King of the Gods.

Not only that, this child was born with immense divine strength, even stronger than herself — making him the most steady and trustworthy child in the family.

Epimetheus and Atlas, who had been scolded by Clymene, were somewhat dissatisfied but could only quietly keep quiet — and both looked toward Prometheus.

Then they saw Prometheus sigh softly.

“Epimetheus is right.

Father God was indeed sealed deep into the earth by the King of the Gods — and not only Father God, but also our grandparents, and even the other Titans, were all sealed together.”

As soon as he said this — although she had already received the news from Epimetheus — Clymene’s face instantly turned pale and she stumbled.

This gentle ocean goddess shed tears like pearls, her lips trembling as she murmured: “How could this happen…

how could this happen…”

Overnight, her husband, her mother, her father — all disappeared…

Seeing Clymene so sorrowful, Epimetheus felt a bit sorry and looked up at Prometheus, unable to help but ask: “Is there still hope for them?”

“Will…

will His Majesty the King of the Gods release them?”

As a god of hindsight, Epimetheus could only know what had already happened — these future events were precisely Prometheus’s specialty.

As soon as this question was asked, Clymene seemed to see a last straw — she quickly grabbed Prometheus’s hand and gripped it tightly.

She asked in a trembling voice: “Child, can you prophesy again?

Tell me — is there still salvation for your father…”

Now, even Atlas — who had been very displeased with Prometheus — looked up at him, his eyes full of curiosity.

“I can only give it a try.” Prometheus let out a soft sigh.

In the next moment, a white light lit up in his eyes, and his voice became ethereal and solemn:

“The gods will never rise again; the King of the Gods will rule alone forever.”

The moment the words fell, the three gods felt a mysterious and vast aura quietly descend — it was the aura of fate.

Upon hearing this, Clymene’s beautiful eyes instantly lost all their sparkle.

Epimetheus sighed helplessly.

Only Atlas…

This heaven-bearing Titan felt the power of fate — his eyes flickering.

“When the Mother Goddess and Father God disappeared, I was holding up the sky with him.

The matter isn’t finished yet — I need to go again.” Atlas said.

At this moment, Clymene was completely immersed in sorrow, with no mind to care about such things.

Instead, Epimetheus thoughtfully glanced at Atlas’s departing figure.

He felt…

something was strange.

And Epimetheus’s premonition was indeed correct.

Atlas wasn’t there to care about holding up the sky — he went straight up to the sacred mountain.

Uranus had just finished dealing with all his children and felt an unprecedented sense of peace in his heart.

He was about to do something to please the divine again under the desperate Gaia — and Atlas came to find him.

Uranus immediately frowned and temporarily let Gaia go.

Among his descendants, Uranus’s favorite child was Atlas, the heaven-bearing god.

Atlas was indeed loyal to him — so he had ordered Atlas to keep an eye on Prometheus.

The King of the Gods remained cautious about this prophet.

Now, this caution had paid off.

Atlas directly brought the prophecy Prometheus had recently spoken.

Upon hearing it, Uranus burst out laughing: “Eternal rule?

Good, good!”

A sincere smile appeared on Atlas’s face as he sincerely said: “The great sky has shrouded the earth for generations, ruling over all living beings in the world.

This is only natural!”

Uranus felt genuine joy from the heart — even believing he had conquered fate!

But to be safe, he still asked: “Are you sure he didn’t lie?”

“Your Majesty the King of the Gods, this cannot be false!” Atlas blurted out immediately.

“I can clearly sense the aura of fate — there’s absolutely no mistake!”

“Besides, Your Majesty, you’ve already subdued the gods and sealed them completely.

What else could possibly threaten you?”

“Good, very good, very good!” Only then did Uranus laugh heartily and say, “Fate is nothing more than this!”

“And I — Uranus, Lord of the Sky — will be the only and eternal King of the Gods in this world!”
