“It’s over, it’s over.

From the very beginning, the Father God never intended to let us go!”

In the deepest part of the earth, in the chaotic world, the celestial god Crius wore a pained expression and murmured incessantly.Full novel: Greek Mythology: I Am the Master of Fate — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The other eleven Titans also looked ashen.

“Hmph, if I had known this would happen, why bother in the first place?”

Themis, the goddess of justice and order, spoke coldly, her white cloth veiling the contempt in her eyes.

In this endless abyssal chaos, the radiant and sacred golden light on her body was polluted — appearing dim and lifeless — yet she still looked on coldly, watching the scene as if it were a joke.

Not long ago, when the three powerful Hundred-Armed Giants rebelled against the King of the Gods and Prometheus came to negotiate, Themis felt they should rise up and resist — but the other eleven Titans hesitated and ultimately missed the opportunity.

Now it was better — no need to resist, just “one step to the stomach.”

The gods couldn’t help but feel a bit regretful, thinking they should have listened to Prometheus back then — but now it was too late to regret.

“Are we going to be trapped here forever?”

The beautiful goddess Phoebe’s eyes reddened as she murmured: “My child must have been frightened.

What should I do?”

The gods looked at each other, all unable to help but sigh.

“Sister Phoebe, don’t worry too much.

Asteria will definitely be safe.” The sea goddess Tethys comforted softly.

The starry night goddess Asteria was the eldest daughter of Phoebe and Coeus, and there was also the night goddess Leto — the second daughter of the two gods.

But that wasn’t the most important thing — the most important thing was that Asteria was still pregnant at this moment!

It was also unfortunate — Asteria had just conceived when Uranus ascended the throne and declared that the gods were not allowed to have any more offspring.

So naturally, the child in Asteria’s belly could not be born — and the pregnancy lasted hundreds or even thousands of years.

Under the protection of Coeus and Phoebe, Uranus did not notice anything unusual about Asteria.

But now that Coeus and Phoebe had disappeared at the same time, Asteria had instantly lost her protection.

How could Phoebe not be worried…

If Uranus ever found out that Asteria was pregnant, she wouldn’t even dare to imagine the consequences.

The best solution now was for Asteria to secretly give birth and then throw away the child — in order to save her life.

But how could that be easy?

Seeing tears in his wife’s eyes, Coeus sighed helplessly and could only comfort her softly.

The other gods were also chattering and discussing — their voices waking Gaia, who had finally managed to calm the deeper giants and Cyclopes.

So more and more voices rang out, and the entire underground world was noisy beyond measure.

Gaia was so annoyed by the noise that her head was splitting — and she couldn’t help but shout: “Everyone, shut up!”

The majestic voice of the Mother Earth echoed deep within the earth.

The gods looked at each other in confusion.

Phoebe was the first to cry out: “Honorable Mother Goddess, please save us!

If possible, I beg you to save Asteria!”

With Phoebe speaking up, the other gods hurriedly called for help — and for a moment, the underground noise rose again…

Gaia grew increasingly agitated, her originally gentle voice growing impatient: “Of course I’ll find a way to save you all.

Everyone, be quiet!”

“Then Asteria…”

“I’ll find a chance to save her too!” Gaia said impatiently: “Shut up, shut up, shut up!”

Only then did the Twelve Titans fall silent — though the deeper ones like the Hundred-Armed Giants and the Cyclopes weren’t fully mentally engaged, and Gaia had to struggle to calm them down.

When her mind finally quieted, Gaia let out a heavy sigh of relief — her face full of exhaustion.

She looked up and saw darkness before her — this was the land of eternal night.

This was also one of the five original gods — Gaia’s sister — representing the dwelling place of Nyx, the night.

Compared to Gaia, the Night Goddess Nyx was much more personified.

She was very low-key — almost never left the Land of Eternal Night, and never got involved in conflicts between gods.

Gaia came to see her this time for Ananke — one of her three phases.

Nyx was powerful not only because she was the Night itself, but also because of her three phases, which were:

The goddess of inevitable destiny — Ananke;

Adrasteia — the goddess of natural law;

And finally, the goddess of cause and fate — Heimarmene.

This “Trinity” didn’t mean Nyx could split into three people — but rather represented the multidimensionality of her divine nature.

She was both the mother who nurtured all darkness, the cold tailor weaving the laws of fate, and the ultimate cosmic law that even gods must respect by a third.

Gaia had now completely broken with Uranus.

She hated this arrogant King of the Gods but didn’t know what to do — she herself had no fighting ability, and her children had all been wiped out…

With no other choice, Gaia came to the Land of Eternal Night, hoping to find an answer from Nyx.

There was no other way.

In front of the mighty King of the Gods, Gaia had no choice but to let him bully her.

Even coming to the Land of Eternal Night had to be done in secret — taking advantage of the King of the Gods’s distraction.

Fortunately, the goddess of night Nyx did not avoid her.

But what she didn’t expect was that when she explained her purpose and laid everything out — seeking a solution — the goddess, shrouded in darkness and unable to see her face, asked her with some confusion:

“Why did you choose to ask me?”

Gaia was stunned by this question.

“If you want to find a way to break the deadlock, you shouldn’t have come to me.

I am the inevitable destiny — I can only see what is bound to happen.”

“But now you’re carrying the aura of fate’s uncertainties.

I can’t see your future — because anything could happen in your future.”

Nyx explained, her voice almost uneven, with no emotion to be detected.

“Then who should I go see?” Gaia was stunned — never expecting such a result.

“Go find the god who gave you that aura of uncertainty.

He might be able to solve your current problem and help you achieve the outcome you desire.”

Gaia blinked, frozen in place.

She had no idea when she had come across that so-called ‘aura of uncertainty’!

As if sensing her confusion, Nyx raised her hand — her pale fingers pointing at Gaia.

A faint, obscure aura instantly spread from Gaia.

Gaia instantly understood in her heart — this feeling…

wasn’t it the feeling of being locked in when she heard the god of prophecy speak about the future?

Wait — was this the aura of fate’s uncertainty?

Gaia suddenly realized something — her eyes widened, her heart surging with shock.

That little one named Prometheus was not a god of prophecy at all — but rather —

God of fate!

No, that wasn’t right.

If it were only the god of fate, she and Uranus couldn’t possibly have remained unaware — so he must have both the Law of Prophecy and the Law of Fate!

Only this could explain why Uranus the King of the Gods was deceived!

Her mind recalled what Prometheus had said when he first came to find her but was driven away.

He said that if one day she was at her wit’s end — she could come to him again — and perhaps then she would be willing to listen to him.

And at this moment — wasn’t that exactly when she was at her wit’s end?!

With such precision — that little guy must have anticipated this day long ago!

Gaia felt a storm raging in her heart — unable to calm her emotions for a long time!
