This sudden turn of events left everyone stunned.

Whether it was the curse Uranus had desperately unleashed in his final moments or Theron’s sudden appearance to interrupt it, the Twelve Titans were caught completely off guard.

They had no idea what was happening and could only stare blankly as events unfolded far beyond their expectations.Full novel: Greek Mythology: The True God of Fate — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Uranus was equally stunned.

He had never expected his all-out attack to be interrupted, much less by the weakling he had always looked down upon.

How was this possible?!

Even though he was no longer the God-King, he was still a powerful ruler of the sky, possessing strength far beyond that of the Twelve Titans.

Yet this weak fellow, who could barely even stabilize his own divine authority, had actually managed to interrupt the curse he had unleashed with all his might.

Uranus was initially shocked and incredulous, but he soon realized something and began recalling all the strange things about Theron.

Although Theron was not powerful, he had been born before the Primordial Gods.

He had not only foreseen the birth of the Twelve Titans, but had also prophesied the day of Uranus’s overthrow—and even seen that the one who would overthrow him would be his own child.

This was something the weak God of Prophecy could never have accomplished!

Even the Three Fates could not foresee the destiny of the God-King, so what right did a weak God of Prophecy have to do so?

Wait…

There was a Father God above the Three Fates.

The direction from which they had returned after visiting their Father God was precisely the void where Theron resided!

Their Father God was not the eternal darkness, Erebus, but Theron!

He was not the God of Prophecy at all.

He was the God of Fate.

Only then did Uranus understand how Theron had been able to prevent him from speaking the destined curse.

Uranus finally understood everything.

He realized that he had not lost to Cronus, but to his own arrogance—and to the legendary power of fate.

Everything happening today had already been destined.

All his struggles and resistance had merely become links in the inevitable fulfillment of fate.

“How laughable!

How laughable that I never discovered your true divine office.

You are so weak—so weak that I never even took you seriously!”

Uranus smiled bitterly, knowing that he had lost completely and that there was no possibility of a comeback.

The moment his masculine authority had been severed, everything had been decided.

The curse he had commanded the world to carry out with all his might, a curse that was destined to come true, still took effect even though he had been unable to speak it aloud.

However, Uranus’s divine power was rapidly declining, and he no longer possessed the strength to fight.

Cronus keenly sensed this and immediately realized that this was a golden opportunity.

Without the slightest hesitation, he stepped forward and declared:

“I, Cronus, God of Time and Space, in the name of the future God-King, declare that the God of the Sky has violated the laws of the Earth Mother’s fertility and committed tyranny against the gods.

Therefore, he is guilty!”

“I hereby declare that the Sky God Uranus is sentenced to eternal slumber.

From this day forward, the sky shall forever be separated from the earth, and the two shall never meet again!”

Gods could not be killed.

Cronus could defeat Uranus, but he could never truly kill him.

Moreover, the world still needed the sky, so he could not imprison Uranus in Tartarus for eternity.

As a last resort, he could only plunge Uranus into eternal slumber.

Uranus did not resist, because he knew that the moment Theron appeared, everything had become meaningless.

Feeling the divine power within him gradually fading, Uranus took one last deep look at the silent earth before allowing the will of the world to erase his personified form.

Under the watchful eyes of the Twelve Titans, his form gradually transformed into an invisible wisp of energy.

Following the aura of his original form, it rose higher and higher until it reached an immeasurable height, where it finally fell into eternal slumber.

Thus, heaven and earth were finally separated completely, never to meet again.

The reign of Uranus, ruler of the sky and supreme God-King, had finally come to an end, marking the conclusion of an era.

Just as the Prophecy had foretold a thousand years ago, he would rule the world for an era—but only for an era.

Seeing this, Cronus, who had been holding the scythe throughout the entire battle, finally breathed a sigh of relief.

He subconsciously searched the void for the white-robed figure, only to discover that Theron had disappeared without a trace, as if he had never been there.

Cronus frowned deeply.

Although Uranus had been unable to finish speaking because of Theron’s intervention, Cronus could still sense that the power of the curse had become entangled with him.

Worse, he had no idea what the curse actually was.

He wanted to find out, but he knew this was not the time.

Uranus had been defeated, but his brothers and sisters were still alive. You are reading on g.com, the official source.

The question of who would become the new God-King would probably not be so easy to resolve.

However, he soon discovered that his greatest rival, the powerful Ocean God Oceanus, was now extremely weak and had lost his ability to fight.

Cronus immediately understood that this was the price Oceanus had paid to completely destroy Uranus’s remains.

The other Titans were not much stronger than Cronus either.

With the divine artifact Scythe in his hand, none of them could match him.

Having quickly grasped the situation, Cronus was first stunned and then overjoyed.

He finally understood the meaning behind Theron’s words:

“Fate is on your side.”

Now that everything had settled, he was the undisputed successor to the throne of the God-King.

At the same time, an indescribable sense of fear began to rise within him toward the mysterious God of Fate.

“He foresaw everything.

His abilities are unfathomable.

He is nothing like the weak figure he appears to be.

He could even interrupt Uranus’s desperate curse…”

Cronus thought to himself, becoming increasingly wary of Theron.

Nevertheless, this brutal reign had finally come to an end.

The problems and threats that had plagued the gods had been resolved, and the world had finally returned to peace.

With the most powerful Titan, Oceanus, having lost his ability to fight, Cronus—who had contributed the most to the struggle against Uranus—became the next God-King without much difficulty.

His courage and sense of responsibility during the battle had proven everything, earning him the approval of the other gods.

As the gods declared their allegiance, the will of the world also recognized this young and courageous God of Time and Space.

Thus, the world once again returned to its proper course and entered a new era.

The era ruled by Cronus.
