With Theron’s guidance, Cronus led the other Titan Gods in creating new forms of life, which proved to be a tremendous achievement.

As the Chaos World developed rapidly, it also increasingly recognized its new God-King.

Cronus could clearly feel his power growing stronger and stronger.

With the world’s blessing, the rate at which his divine power increased even surpassed that of Oceanus, who had fathered countless offspring.

This growth in strength finally gave him some confidence.

At the very least, he no longer needed to worry about his brothers or fear that the more powerful Titan Gods would pose a threat to his position.

Throughout these centuries of striving, his Queen of the Gods, Rhea, the goddess of abundance and time, had always remained by his side.

The bond between them was sincere and deep.

On this day, atop the majestic sacred mountain, Queen Rhea, filled with indescribable excitement, came looking for King Cronus.

Rhea was a beautiful and delicate young woman.

At this moment, joy radiated from her eyes and brows, making her appear even more vibrant and stunning.

Seeing Rhea like this, Cronus couldn’t help but smile.

He reached out and embraced his beautiful wife.

“Oh, my beautiful Queen of the Gods, what has happened to make you so happy?”

“Great King of the Gods, my love, this is definitely something that will make you happy too!”

Rhea smiled and gently touched her still-flat stomach, her voice overflowing with sweetness.

“We’re finally going to have a child!”

Cronus’s smile froze.

His eyes widened in disbelief, and for a moment, he was so shocked that he couldn’t control his expression.

Rhea, however, was completely immersed in happiness and anticipation and failed to notice anything unusual about him.

Ever since learning about Uranus’s curse and his own Prophecy from Theron hundreds of years ago, Cronus had been doing everything he could to delay the arrival of that cursed fate.

The curse stated that he would eventually be overthrown by his own child, so he had deliberately avoided intimacy with Rhea as much as possible, fearing that she would give birth to the child destined to overthrow him.

But this could only delay the inevitable.

As the God-King and Queen of the Gods, Cronus and Rhea were destined to have offspring.

It was the will of the world, and neither of them could resist it.

But now that the day had finally arrived, Cronus panicked.

He suddenly realized that he was nowhere near ready.

It had only been a few hundred years.

He was still not powerful enough, and the will of the Chaos World had yet to fully recognize him.

How could Rhea have become pregnant at a time like this?

Looking at the beautiful woman in his arms, who was already happily imagining what their future child would look like, Cronus felt a chill run down his spine.

He could barely control his emotions.

Uranus’s final, venomous gaze and Theron’s calm, emotionless voice repeatedly echoed through his mind.

What has been will be again.

What has been done will be done again.

Rhea waited for Cronus to respond, but when he remained silent, she looked up at him in confusion.

“What’s wrong, Your Majesty?

We finally have our own child.

Aren’t you happy?”

Rhea knew nothing about the curse, nor did she know what Cronus feared or worried about.

She had merely watched her fellow Titan brothers and sisters conceive countless children over the centuries and had always been envious.

Now that she finally had a child of her own, she was naturally filled with happiness.

Cronus’s reaction, however, left her puzzled.

Meeting Rhea’s questioning gaze, Cronus forced a smile.

“No, my love.

I’m happy.

I’m just surprised because it happened so suddenly.”

“It’s been several hundred years, Your Majesty.

We should have had children by now.”

Rhea smiled sweetly.

“It will surely be a healthy and intelligent child, and as brave as you.”

Cronus’s eyelids twitched at her words.

He had completely lost interest in continuing the conversation, so he made an excuse and sent Rhea away.

Afterward, he sat alone inside the vast temple, remaining silent for a very long time.

In the quiet hall, Cronus seemed to have turned into a lifeless stone statue.

The venomous gaze of the First Generation God-King Uranus at the end had always been like a thorn lodged in Cronus’s heart, one that had never been removed over the years. Find the original chapter at g.com.

He could only do his best to ignore that thorn.

But today, it had pierced him once again, and this time the wound bled profusely.

“I can’t just wait for the curse to come.

I have to do something.”

Finally, after an unknown amount of time, Cronus made up his mind.

He had always been the most courageous among the Titan Gods, and passively waiting for his fate had never been his style.

Cronus left the sacred mountain and descended to the earth, where Gaia, the Earth Mother Goddess, resided.

Since the end of the reign of the First Generation God-King Uranus, Gaia had stopped interfering in the affairs of the gods.

She had instead returned to the earth to slowly recover the essence she had expended over the years.

Gaia was surprised by Cronus’s visit, but she still received him and took the initiative to ask:

“My child, Great King of the Gods, is there something you need from me?”

Cronus hesitated, unsure how to begin.

Ultimately, however, his fear of the curse prevailed.

He explained the contents of the curse to Gaia in detail and then asked her to remove the child from Rhea’s womb, thereby preventing his descendants from overthrowing his divine authority.

Gaia’s greatest authority as the Earth Mother Goddess was the power of procreation.

She was the only being in the world capable of making a child that had already been conceived disappear.

This was the solution Cronus had arrived at after several days of careful thought.

As long as he had no offspring, the curse could never be fulfilled.

Gaia flew into a rage upon hearing this.

Her brows furrowed, and she spoke sharply.

“Cronus, have you forgotten why your father, Uranus, was dethroned?”

“He put the children I had already given birth to back into my body.

Anyone who violates the laws of reproduction is unworthy of being the God-King.

A god who cannot allow life to flourish is even less qualified to rule the gods!”

“Cronus, abandon this ridiculous idea.

Not only will I not take Rhea’s child back, I will bless her as well!”

“She will definitely give birth to a child that belongs to both of you!”

After saying this, Gaia immediately kicked Cronus out of the temple, leaving him no opportunity to argue.

Cronus stared at the tightly closed door before him, his expression bitter and helpless.
