“That feels better…” Andromeda murmured as she stepped out of the bathroom, looking refreshed, and a bath towel wrapped snugly around her.

“Does it?” Rigel asked, still lounging on the bed with his back against the headboard, having already reverted to his child form.

Andromeda paused mid-step, eyeing him warily. “Don’t try anything now… I’m not bathing all over again.” She was worried that he might jump on her again… and she’d have to re-clean herself.

Rigel gave a casual shrug. “Relax. I’ve had my fun for the day, and we’ll only continue this in the night.”

She let out a small sigh of relief. “Right… well, in that case, could you step out for a moment? I need to change.”

Rigel tilted his head. “Why should I leave? Haven’t I already seen every bit of you?”

Andromeda froze, cheeks flushing. “Well…” She couldn’t exactly argue; after everything that had happened the night before, there really wasn’t a part of her body he hadn’t seen. Still, being watched while dressing made her feel exposed in a different way.

Noting her hesitation, Rigel added smoothly, “I’m your master, and you, a servant, have nothing to hide from me. Not to mention, you have surrendered your body to me… which means your body is mine to do as I please…” His eyes gleamed as he added, “Change in front of me. I wish to enjoy the view.”

Then, as if to reassure her, he said, “Don’t worry, I’m not planning anything. There’s another reason.”

“What reason?” she asked, clearly doubtful.

“A servant doesn’t need to question her master’s every action,” Rigel said casually, reminding her of her place with a calm, pointed tone.

“Hmph! Sounds like a load of bollocks to me, just an excuse to justify your little voyeuring intentions,” Andromeda snorted, turning her back to him. “Fine then… if you’re that desperate, have a good look,” she muttered, letting the towel slip from her body and fall to the floor, baring herself completely to his gaze.

Rigel smirked and did exactly that.

Of course, he hadn’t been bullshitting when he said he had a reason for watching her change; he was observing, analysing the shape of her body with a thoughtful eye. ‘Didn’t focus on those things last night since I was too horny to care. But now? Yeah… It’s clear as day.’

He was thinking about the extra weight dulling her spark.

Even though Andromeda was still a strikingly beautiful witch thanks to the genes of the House of Black she has inherited, the years of inactivity and stay-at-home situation hadn’t left her untouched. After fourteen years or so of being cooped up, running the house as the homemaker, that too in a poor family, her youthful glow had taken a bit of a battering.

Sure, she was a proper milf, with an ass thick enough for him to get a boner just looking at it, but that didn’t mean there weren’t places for improvements to make her a truly delectable Milf conforming to his tastes.

‘Yep… she’s definitely got some work to do,’ he thought, nodding to himself.

The stretch marks from nine months of pregnancy, the love handles, the tits that weren’t quite as perky as they might have been once, and all that extra fat clinging to her thighs, arms, back, butt, and belly, along with the skin that didn’t have a natural, youthful glow, yeah, it could all do with a bit of trimming if she was going to bring that proper hourglass figure he expects from his women.

Yes, Rigel wanted only the best for himself. And if that meant Andromeda had to put in the effort to become his ideal, so be it.

‘No worries… I’ll have her shaped into my perfect milf maid within the year,’ he thought to himself with a chuckle.

“May I ask why you’re chuckling?” Andromeda asked, feeling a bit self-conscious as she felt that he seemed to be laughing at her.

“I was just wondering why you’d been stuck in a dry marriage for the past thirteen years or so…” Rigel replied casually, tossing out the thought to avoid revealing the real plan he had in mind for her.

“Wha—why would you wonder about something like that?” she asked, flustered.

“Why not?” he said with a playful tilt of his head. Then added, “I mean, look at you, you’re bloody gorgeous. And yet the two of you were in a dry marriage? Seems to me he was a proper idiot for not touching you in over thirteen years. If not for the fact that my cousin exists, I would have assumed that he was gay!”

He paused, then asked, “Was the marriage falling apart? Maybe you’d both stopped loving each other… but figured splitting up would just make everything even more of a mess for the two of you, so you stuck it out anyway, trying to somehow make things work out?”

Andromeda looked stunned, falling silent for a moment before shaking her head. “It’s not that…” she muttered. “It was more the result of living in poverty.”

“Poverty?” Rigel raised a brow. “How does being skint lead to a dry marriage? Shouldn’t it be the other way around? Poor folk usually end up with more kids, not fewer. And yet, the two of you…”

More children meant more hands to help out; that was the thinking, plain and simple.

But then again, that’s the way of the uneducated folk. Since both Andromeda and Ted were educated, they likely knew that the more children, more hands to help idea was rubbish… yet, even knowing that that mindset was flawed and usually just brought more hardship, it still doesn’t explain why their marriage was dry.

Right, sure, you don’t want to have more kids than you can afford, but that’s hardly a good enough excuse to avoid the shagging altogether… especially since pregnancy can be easily prevented with a certain type of tea. There are plenty of other methods that aren’t exactly pricey either… Heck, just waving a wand and casting Scourgify or Evanesco can completely wipe out the chances of an unwanted pregnancy. Not to mention, there are loads of other handy spells that work as contraceptives… so the risk of an unplanned pregnancy is pretty much nil.

And yet… a dry marriage for over thirteen years? That’s properly unusual.

Andromeda sighed. Normally, she wouldn’t speak about something so personal, especially not about her late husband, let alone make him look like a laughing stock. But having come to terms with the fact that she’d made the Unbreakable Vow to surrender herself to Rigel in mind, body, soul, and freedom, she knew she shouldn’t keep anything from him. So, despite feeling guilty towards Ted, she chose honesty. With a heavy heart, she thought, ‘I’m sorry, Ted,’ and explained the cause of their Dry marriage to Rigel, “Potions and their ingredients are bloody expensive… and while there are cheaper alternatives, they usually come with side effects.”

Surprised by her answer, Rigel asked, “Did your late husband take one of the cheaper potions then?”

Andromeda nodded, “It happened not long after our marriage… Edward fell seriously ill and needed a particular potion to recover. If we hadn’t found a way to get him that potion… he would’ve died. It’s just that we didn’t have the galleons for it, not even enough to buy the ingredients to try to brew it ourselves. Day by day, his condition was worsening, and I couldn’t continue to watch him slowly walk towards death, and I had nearly gone to sell our engagement ring… But Edward wouldn’t have it. He didn’t want me to sell it… He didn’t even want me to use it as collateral at all, and he was bloody adamant about it… and said that he’d figure things out himself…”

Looking back, she understood why he was so against her selling that ring, or even using it as collateral to borrow some galleons for proper treatment. After all, the diamond was a fake, and the ring itself wasn’t worth a penny. Had she tried to sell it or use it for a loan, Ted’s lie would’ve been exposed.

‘Well, he paid the price for lying to me,’ she thought, before continuing, “The next thing I knew, he’d worked things out himself… Seems he ended up buying some dodgy potion from a bloke in Knockturn Alley at a right cheap price.”

“Ahh… makes sense,” Rigel murmured, nodding in understanding.

Andromeda continued, “Nothing in that place is proper legal, sure, one might stumble across a fix for their problems, but unless one is very careful and deeply knowledgeable as to what they are taking, it’s the kind of fix one would end up regretting, and well… that’s what happened with Ted.” And added with a sigh, “The illness did go away. But… it took something else with it.” Her voice softened. “Not only did he lose his drive. He also couldn’t… he was never able to get an… erection after that… no matter what he tried. It seems to have been some sort of curse… some kind of Dark Magic that was the result of that shady potion…”

In the wizarding society, normal injuries are usually a doddle to fix, just a flick of the wand from someone skilled can mend most wounds. But when it comes to damage caused by Dark Magic, well… that’s a different kettle of fish. That’s why Mad-Eye Moody had to rely on a magic eye and an artificial leg.

If what happened to Edward Tonks’ little brother had been a run-of-the-mill normal injury or side effect, it’d have been sorted in no time. But since it was the result of Dark Magic, there was bugger all that could be done. He’d been cursed with erectile dysfunction and a complete loss of sexual drive.

“Bless that shady potion seller…” Rigel muttered in amusement. The guy might’ve committed a crime against masculinity, and was an enemy of all males… but as far as Rigel was concerned, he’d done him a right favour, if not for that shady seller, his cock wouldn’t have had the pleasure of a cunt untouched for thirteen bloody years.

Andromeda stared at him in silence, having heard every word. With a long sigh, she muttered, “You… you know what, forget it…” She honestly didn’t know what to say anymore and began to wear her robes.

Rigel said apologetically, “Alright… alright… I am sorry…” But his amused smile was a clear giveaway that he wasn’t apologetic at all, which made Andromeda shake her head in defeat.

In fact, Rigel had a pretty good idea who that dodgy potion seller was, or might have been: ‘It’s gotta be Drek Williams, innit?’

Although it was just a guess, if it was Drek, it would make perfect sense. Given his obsession with Andromeda, he wouldn’t want Ted and Andromeda getting cosy any further than they had already. Jealousy and spite might have led him to take steps to make sure it never happened. And he might have even hoped that the two would separate…

It’s just that Andromeda might have already been pregnant with Nymphadora by then…

And since Drek was already dead, Rigel had no way to confirm his suspicions.

‘Well, whoever did it, whether it was Drek or someone else, I’m just glad someone did… and that I’m the one who benefits.’

Still, something nagged at him, so he couldn’t help but ask, “So… after he lost his drive, what about you? Did you ever… y’know, take care of yourself?”

After all, it was the one who had lost his drive was Ted, not Andromeda.

Andromeda stared at him in shock. “What??” she gasped, utterly taken aback that he’d even bring up such a thing. Shaking her head furiously, she snapped, “Oh dear Merlin, what kind of question is that? Isn’t that completely inappropriate? How could I... how could I even think about doing something like that?”

“Hm… is that so? Inappropriate, you say?” Rigel murmured, mentally noting her reaction with interest. It was probably the result of conservative education from the House of Black.

‘Looks like I’ll have to make her do it herself one day… that view and reaction would be priceless,’ he mused in amusement. Without missing a beat, he tossed out another question. “And what about turning to other men to meet your needs? That thought never crossed your mind?” This story is hosted at novelping.com.

“Seriously?” Andromeda huffed, now clearly irritated. “Are you asking me if I ever considered adultery?”

“Well…” shrugged Rigel. Drek William would have been very happy to help out had she reached out to him for help.

She gave him a pointed look and added, “I’m not some harlot with no self-control, you know. Just because my needs weren’t being met doesn’t mean I’d run off and have other men bed me. I wasn’t about to throw away my dignity, or the sanctity of our marriage, over that.”

“Ah… I see. My apologies for the question,” Rigel said in a bit of a sarcastic tone, before adding, “You truly are an honourable woman, just as one would expect from someone raised by the House of Black, steadfast in upholding our values and traditions.”

His words irked Andromeda, as it was obvious he was having a bit of a dig at her, mocking her for straying from some of those very teachings she prided herself on. Rigel, however, paid no mind to her irritation and continued, “And I’m glad to have such a respectable lady as my personal maid.”

“The honourable maid and her less-than-honourable Master… as they say, opposites attract… we were made for this,” he muttered cheekily.

After all, unlike her, he had no intention of leading a noble life. Quite the opposite, he planned to bed plenty of birds and build himself a right harem of beauties.

If he didn’t do that, what’s the point of living a second life, eh?

Unaware of his thoughts, Andromeda snorted at his sarcasm. “Yeah, a proper match made in heaven…”

“Couldn’t agree more,” Rigel chuckled.

Shaking her head, Andromeda changed the topic, “Anyway, let’s not dwell on that. For now, I believe you should have a bath, wash off all that sweat and…” She paused, not wanting to spell it out, but sure he’d catch her intention. Before adding, “Meanwhile, I’ll tidy up the room and start on breakfast.”

“You don’t need to bother with that,” Rigel replied, rising and stretching out, shaking off the last traces of drowsiness.

“Why not?” she frowned.

“I told Kreacher to sort it while you were in the bath earlier,” he said.

“I… I see,” Andromeda nodded, realising she wouldn’t have to do all the housework anymore; quite likely, the house elf would handle most of it.

Noticing her quiet moment, Rigel smiled and added, “Rather than worrying about breakfast, you should be getting ready to wake your daughter. I believe she’s slept long enough, and it’s time to give her the Wiggenweld potion to rouse her.”

“Hmm… yeah,” nodded Andromeda quietly as she glanced at the green bottle potion resting on the table.

“Well… take your time and get yourself ready for that,” Rigel said, then headed off to the bathroom for a wash himself.

“I know…” replied Andromeda from behind as the gate of the bathroom closed behind him.

…

By the time Rigel got back from his bath, the room was spick and span, his robes folded neatly on the bed. The two wands hidden inside his robes were laid beside the robes, and there was no sign of Andromeda in the master bedroom.

From the voices coming through the wall, it wasn’t a hard guess where she was.

“Looks like you’ve roused your daughter,” he murmured as he started dressing and stuffed the two wands into the inner pockets of his robes.

Then, without another word, he stepped out.
