This is my first Harry Potter fanfic, so I hope everyone enjoys it!

For someone who was only eleven years old, Adrian Ambrosius’s accomplishments throughout his short life were nothing short of astonishing.

What no one knew, however, was that the sole heir of the Ambrosius family—the noblest of Britain’s Sacred Twenty-Eight families—did not possess the soul that originally belonged to this world.

Within Adrian Ambrosius lived the soul of someone from another world.

In his previous life, he had been an outstanding academic prodigy on Earth.

Among all the novels and films he had loved, Harry Potter had always been his favorite.

Never in his wildest dreams had he imagined that one day he would actually be reborn into its world.

He hadn’t been accompanied by some overpowered, cheat-like system.

Instead, there was only an exquisitely crafted throne within his mind—

The Throne of the God of Magic.

It contained endless magical knowledge.

As if to help Adrian Ambrosius gradually understand the true nature of magic, the throne had separated a single volume from itself—

The Book of the God of Magic.

Even the knowledge contained in that single book had already benefited him beyond measure.

Everything he had accomplished in the magical world—

The youngest Potions Master of the twentieth century.

The Light of Ambrosius.

The Shining Star of Northern England.

And many other titles—

All stemmed from mastering only the first two chapters of that book.

The Chapter of Potions.

The Chapter of Alchemy.

Yet despite consisting of only two chapters, the knowledge they contained was unimaginably vast.

Even after years of study, Adrian Ambrosius had only scratched the surface.

To truly master them would require countless more years of effort.

Fortunately, his soul from another world was exceptionally powerful.

Or perhaps it was because of the final blessings left behind by his parents and grandfather before their deaths.

Whatever the reason, Adrian Ambrosius possessed inexhaustible mental endurance, allowing him to absorb knowledge that should have been impossible for someone his age.

Combined with the astonishingly primitive financial awareness of the twentieth-century magical world, he had effortlessly restored both the Ambrosius family’s wealth and prestige to their former heights.

Looking at the fake smile plastered across Lucius Malfoy’s face, Adrian Ambrosius felt no affection whatsoever.

Even so, Lucius had indeed been acquainted with his father in this life.

The Sacred Twenty-Eight families all shared distant blood ties to one another.

Through Adrian Ambrosius’s father, Yogar, Lucius had learned a great deal about the Ambrosius family.

It was precisely because of that relationship that Voldemort had been able to gain such a deep understanding of the family’s secrets.

Ultimately…

The Ambrosius family had been reduced to a single survivor.

Adrian Ambrosius himself.

Although he had never truly developed deep emotional bonds with his parents in this life, he would never forget the warmth of their final blessing…

Nor their selfless sacrifice.

It was simply that…

He still wasn’t strong enough.

The destruction of the Ambrosius family had never been caused solely by Voldemort’s greed.

Behind it lay an intricate web of interests, conspiracies, and power struggles.

Adrian Ambrosius remembered every one of them.

And one day…

He would make them all repay that debt.

For now, however, Harry Potter’s story had yet to begin.

His countless magical experiments required enormous amounts of resources.

And this world was far more complicated than it appeared on the surface.

The Malfoy family still had considerable value.

Maintaining his gentle, approachable smile, Adrian Ambrosius asked,

“So, Uncle Lucius, what brings you here today?”

Lucius looked somewhat embarrassed.

“It’s like this, Young Master Adrian Ambrosius.”

“Several of the Malfoy family’s shops in Diagon Alley have encountered…

a slight problem.”

Removing one of his gloves, Lucius drew his wand from the elegant cane he carried.

With a graceful wave, a shimmering silver map appeared before them.

“Please take a look.”

“These three shops belong to the Malfoy family.”

“I’m planning to merge them into a single larger establishment.”

“But…”

Adrian Ambrosius glanced over the map.

He immediately understood what Lucius meant.

So my little ‘nail’ finally paid off.

Back when he had been acquiring property throughout Diagon Alley, he had intentionally purchased several seemingly insignificant buildings.

Now their strategic value had become obvious.

Imagine expanding your business…

Only to discover that someone else’s property sat directly in the middle of your planned development.

There were few things more frustrating.

“I see.”

“So it’s this shop.”

Adrian Ambrosius snapped his fingers.

Shufus instantly appeared beside him.

“Young Master, your orders?”

“Bring me my property map of Diagon Alley.”

“At once.”

Only a few seconds later, the house-elf returned with a rolled-up parchment map.

After confirming its contents, Adrian Ambrosius nodded.

“That’s right.”

“This shop does indeed belong to me.”

He rolled the map back up and tossed it to Shufus.

“So, Uncle Lucius…”

“What exactly do you want?”

Lucius hurriedly answered,

“I’d like to purchase that shop.”

“I see…”

Adrian Ambrosius rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

“I’m afraid…”

“I’m not particularly interested in selling it.”

Lucius quickly replied,

“Please don’t worry.”

“I’ll certainly offer a price that satisfies you.”

Hearing that, Adrian Ambrosius broke into a grin.

“Uncle Lucius…”

“Do I look like someone who’s short on money?”

Lucius fell silent.

The handsome young devil sitting before him was arguably the richest wizard in all of Britain.

His bizarre alchemical inventions…

His revolutionary potions…

His ever-expanding commercial empire…

Every single one generated staggering amounts of wealth.

Not to mention the immense fortune accumulated by the Ambrosius family over countless generations, which now belonged entirely to him.

Money?

Sorry.

Young Master had plenty of it.

Enough to bury someone alive under a mountain of Galleons if he felt like it.

“How about this?”

Adrian Ambrosius smiled.

“I’ll simply give you the shop.”

Lucius blinked.

“But…”

“I’m rather interested in your family’s collection.”

“Would you mind letting me choose two items from your private treasury?”

Lucius’ heart sank.

I knew it.

This little brat definitely had another trick waiting for me.

Most of the Malfoy family’s surviving collection consisted of exceptionally rare treasures.

Although any two of them were worth less than an entire shop, their rarity alone made them priceless.

Thinking of the already limited number of family heirlooms stored in the Malfoy vaults, Lucius felt his heart bleed.

But compared to the successful merger of his properties—and the tremendous profits it would bring in the future—he had no choice.

After gritting his teeth for several long moments, he finally nodded.

“…Agreed.”

“Excellent.”

“Then let’s not waste any time.”

Adrian Ambrosius flashed a mischievous smile and gestured toward the fireplace connected to the Floo Network.

Lucius stared at him speechlessly.

“…”

Half an hour later, Lucius stood outside with an elegant smile as he watched Adrian Ambrosius leave.

Inside, however, he was cursing nonstop.

That damned brat…

He’s absolutely ruthless.

Clutching the stack of ownership documents Adrian Ambrosius had left behind, Lucius struggled to maintain the refined dignity expected of a Malfoy.

Meanwhile, Adrian Ambrosius hummed a cheerful tune all the way back to Star Castle.
