For the young witches and wizards studying at Hogwarts, or about to go to Hogwarts to study, taking the train from King’s Cross Station was the only way to reach Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

This caused the entire platform to be crowded with people, making it especially lively.

Students of different ages and the parents seeing them off walked along the platform, pushing large and small pieces of luggage.

Owls flew over people’s heads, dropping a few feathers.

Several cats moved nimbly between people’s feet.

Beside the platform, a deep-red steam engine was stopped there.

The sign hanging on the train read, [Hogwarts Express, Eleven O’Clock].

Inside a quiet carriage near the rear of the train, a boy sat alone in a compartment, resting his chin on his hand as he watched the crowded people outside the window.

He had slightly curly black hair that did not look messy, and like his clothing, the first impression he gave was clean and neat.

He wore a plain wizard’s robe, with a blue badge embroidered on the chest.

Apart from a bronze eagle, the badge also had the word Ravenclaw written on it.

At this moment, although he was looking outside the window, the noisy scene was not reflected in his clear blue eyes, and his thoughts were already drifting away.

Scott Trollope, born into an ordinary family in Hastings, a port town in southeast England, was fourteen years old this year and a fourth-year student in Ravenclaw House at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Apart from these things, he also had another secret identity that made him different from ordinary people; he was a transmigrator.

Fourteen years had already passed since he was reborn into this world with the memories of his previous life.

Scott did not know why, after unexpectedly dying in his previous life, he had been reborn into this world with his memories.

Regarding this, all he could do was sigh, everything from his previous life could no longer be pursued.

As for this life, his experiences growing up before the age of eleven could also be described as having little worth mentioning.

He was not a famous child prodigy, he was not the richest man in the world, he had not rushed to publish the Harry Potter novels first, he had not bought Apple shares, and he had not taught himself hacking skills and emptied the Bank of England.

He did not even have the standard system that came with being a transmigrator.

He had only, after his brain fully developed during infancy, quickly accepted his new identity, and then grew up step by step like that.

The first time he noticed something unusual was, of course, because of a sudden outburst of accidental magic.

There was no need to describe the process at the time.

In any case, after that, he quickly accepted another new identity, he was most likely a young wizard.

He did not think he was a mutant or that he had awakened a supernatural ability.

The feeling of the magical outburst had been so clear, and this was Britain, so among the many options that could explain a magical outburst, he naturally chose the one with the greatest possibility.

After he received his acceptance letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry at the age of eleven, his parents, Michael and Emilia, also readily accepted this fact.

They did not make a fuss, nor did they regard their wizard son as some kind of freak.

It must be emphasized that the Trollopes were a completely Muggle family, and Michael and Emilia ran an antique shop together.

Among both their relatives and friends, there were no wizards or Squibs, and there was also no hidden chamber or magical portrait in their home.

After confirming his guess about this world, Scott only felt some regret that all he remembered of the Harry Potter story was a rough outline, but he did not become anxious because of this.

He was not a fan of the Harry Potter novels or films, and in his previous life, he had only followed the trend during his school years and gradually finished reading the entire series of novels.

Even the film adaptations that became popular around the world, he had only watched the first two when he was still young.

But he felt that still remembering the outline already counted as coming out ahead.

After all, being able to remember the general direction of the entire story after being reincarnated many years later was already impressive.

In any case, in 1989, when Scott was eleven years old, he boarded the Hogwarts Express for the first time, and afterwards, during the Sorting Ceremony after entering the school, the Sorting Hat placed him in Ravenclaw House.

Originally, he had thought that with his personality of taking things as they came, the Sorting Hat should place him in Hufflepuff House.

But he had not expected that the Sorting Hat would be able to see that his intelligence and talent were clearly more prominent than his easygoing personality.

It must be emphasized that Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry did not use Legilimency on young witches and wizards.

Whether it was the Sorting Hat or Headmaster Dumbledore, neither of them was clearly interested in the unremarkable memories inside a young wizard’s mind.

Scott believed that they could easily judge a person’s abilities and character, so memories were instead not that important.

He knew that as long as he openly and confidently acted at school as a student who did nothing too far out of line, no one would deliberately pay attention to him.

Everything was just as he had thought.

Since entering this magical version of school life, Scott had already safely passed through three years of his life as a wizard apprentice.

Woooooo…

The long whistle interrupted his thoughts, and the train started moving.

Scott came back to his senses, watched the scenery outside the window recede for a while, then took out a book with a brightly coloured cover from the backpack beside him.

Holidays with Hags, by Gilderoy Lockhart.

Lockhart was someone Scott still had some impression of in his memories, and he was also the professor responsible for teaching them Defence Against the Dark Arts during the new school year.

Scott still remembered that he was a fame-seeking fraud, and that the events in his books had all been stolen by placing Memory Charms on the true owners of those adventurous experiences.

But although Lockhart was a fake, Scott felt that his books were still worth reading.

After all, apart from the protagonist’s name being false, all of the adventures in the books were real.

Otherwise, Lockhart would not have been able to gain the honours that made him famous through these novels.

The train sped across the countryside, while Scott turned the pages in his hands from time to time.

He did not read very carefully, only skimmed through the book, then used a pen to mark the knowledge inside that was truly useful.

Of course, he directly skipped every passage Lockhart used to praise himself.

When he had read halfway through the book, he suddenly put down his pen and turned his head towards the compartment door.

Five seconds later, the compartment door was pulled open.

“Excuse me…” The young witch holding the door poked her head into the compartment and asked hurriedly, “Have you seen Harry Potter and Ron Weasley today?”

Scott saw that she had thick brown hair and a pair of large front teeth.

He knew this girl, Hermione Granger, the companion of Harry Potter, the “Boy Who Lived.”
