Since people from Hogwarts arrived and confirmed that Elara was indeed a newly awakened witch, no matter how bizarre Elara’s previous experiences were, they no longer mattered.

An 11-year-old young witch, even if she really had some unspeakable secrets behind her, how big could they be?

Hogwarts even allowed werewolves to enroll, let alone Elara, this seemingly ordinary young witch.Full novel: Harry Potter: The Good Dementor — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The next day, Tom gave Elara a day off and let Uncle Kingsley, who was on shift break, take her to stroll around Diagon Alley behind.

Uncle Kingsley took Elara through the bar and came to a small patio surrounded by walls.

There was only a trash can and some weeds here, and Elara would sometimes come here to clean up—as for taking out the trash, it was still too much for a weakling with a strength of only 7.

“Why come here?

Do I need to clean up trash?

Uncle Kingsley?”

Elara was now wearing a set of second-hand wizard robes provided by the boss, Tom.

“Count up three bricks, then count two across.”

Uncle Kingsley took out the wand he always carried with him and tapped the wall three times gently.

The brick he tapped trembled and began to move, a small hole appeared in the middle, and the hole grew larger and larger.

Before long, a wide archway appeared in front of them, enough for Kingsley to pass through, leading to a winding, endless cobblestone street.

Kingsley walked along the archway, and Elara hurried to follow.

After walking out of the narrow archway, the archway behind them closed directly.

Kingsley crouched down—although he was still taller than Elara—he looked at Elara’s calm eyes and said: “Did you remember?

You will need to come by yourself in the future.”

Elara carefully observed this senior Auror in front of her.

Kingsley, wearing a gold earring on his left ear, although he was a dark-skinned bald man, it could be seen that he was very trusted by other Aurors and wizards.

He was stationed in this place with the most traffic in England, to avoid Sirius sneaking in to get a wand and Polyjuice Potion—that would be troublesome.

“Remembered, Uncle Kingsley.”

Elara looked calmly at this future Minister for Magic.

She no longer concealed her personality, but others only thought she was too quiet.

“Thought you would be surprised.

Good girl, welcome to Diagon Alley.”

Kingsley stood up and touched Elara’s black hair.

“Indeed quite surprised.”

Elara gave a shallow smile.

Kingsley took Elara to continue walking forward, and Elara looked at the dazzling shops around with restraint.

She had never felt so truly that she was in a world with magic.

“You don’t have much money, we need to go buy the most important thing first—a wand.

I suppose you also know, this is the most important thing for a wizard.

Follow me closely, don’t get lost.”

Kingsley patiently explained the shops around to Elara: Eeyops Owl Emporium selling owls, Gringotts Wizarding Bank—the only bank in the wizarding world, Madam Malkin’s Robe Shop—Hogwarts students usually made school uniforms here.

“Obviously, for now, you can only go to the second-hand robe shop.”

Kingsley watched with some unbearable heart as this cute girl showed a disappointed expression.

But this was her trial.

“As for the Diagon Alley stationery shop, I still have some leftovers at home, I will give them to you then.”

Finally, they walked to Ollivander’s Wand Shop.

The peeling gold sign outside read: “Ollivander: Makers of Fine Wands since 382 BC”.

In the dusty shop window, a single wand lay alone on a faded purple cushion.

Walking in, the shop was very small, and apart from a bench, there was nothing else.

Thousands of long, narrow boxes containing wands were stacked up to the ceiling, and there was dust everywhere in the shop.

Elara looked at these wands—she had even thought about robbing them, but unfortunately, the similar magic item system did not accept them now, which made her temporarily dispel this idea.

“Good afternoon.”

A soft voice brought Elara back to reality.

Ollivander stood in the shop, welcoming their arrival.

“Hello!”

Elara greeted seriously.

“I have heard about you from others.

A little guest from Germany is going to use a wand I made, this is my honor.”

Without too much small talk, Ollivander went straight to the topic: “Let us pick a wand for you.

Every Ollivander wand is handmade by me, I remember every wand I sold, Miss Elara.”

“We use Unicorn hair, Phoenix tail feather, and Dragon heartstring.

Every Ollivander wand is unique, because there are no two identical Unicorns, Dragons, or Phoenixes.”

“Of course, if you use a wand that should belong to another wizard, you will never have such a good effect.

I will provide the most suitable wand for every Hogwarts freshman.”

What Ollivander said was the truth.

“Then, Miss Elara, let me see.”

He took out a long tape measure with silver markings from his pocket, “Which hand is your dominant hand?”

“Right hand.”

“Extend your arm.

That’s it.”

He measured Elara from shoulder to finger, then wrist to elbow, shoulder to floor, knee to armpit, and her head circumference.

Elara let him manipulate her, although she was a bit uncomfortable.

Kingsley had already stayed quietly outside the door, watching the flow of people outside, as if he was still working.

But Elara knew that Kingsley believed Sirius was innocent, and was even creating false information to mislead others.

Therefore, it was better to say that he wanted to find him and ensure his safety, rather than hunting Sirius.

A core member of the Order of the Phoenix, indeed.

Mr.

Ollivander shuttled between the shelves, busy selecting some long boxes and moving them down.

His fingertips brushed across rows of long, narrow wooden boxes covered with thin dust.

He sized up the girl in front of him—compared to the ignorance of ordinary freshmen, there was a piece of dead silence that could not be melted at the bottom of her eyes.

Too quiet, which reminded Ollivander of those who had suffered the Cruciatus Curse but still survived.

“Every wizard will be chosen by their exclusive wand.”

The old man spoke in a low voice, slowly taking out the first wooden box, “Let’s try this one first.”

He opened the box and took out a wand with soft lines.

“Ash, Unicorn hair core, ten inches, the texture is warm and stable.

Rarely contaminated with Dark Arts, pure magic power is the most stable.”

The moment Elara reached out and grasped the wand handle, a strange sense of rejection exploded suddenly.

Do you want to sell?]

“Sorry, it was my poor judgment.”

He took back the wand and quickly took out the second one.

“Then let’s change to a combination with stronger explosive power.

Fir, Dragon heartstring core, ten and a quarter inches, fierce, sharp, extremely strong explosive power, extremely high loyalty after recognizing the owner.”

“My grandfather often called Fir wands ‘the survivor’s wand’, because he sold this kind of wand to three wizards, and they were all unscathed in fatal dangers later.”

This time, Elara held the wand steadily, and before she could try it, it was snatched away by Ollivander.

The second pop-up window appeared and flashed by directly.

“No, try this one.

Cedar, Phoenix feather core, nine inches.

My father, Gervais Ollivander, used to say, ‘You can never deceive a person holding a Cedar wand.'”

This wand didn’t even need her to wave it, it emitted a faint soft light as soon as it touched her fingertips.

Do you want to sell?]

But Ollivander was still dissatisfied and took it away.

Elara tried all kinds of combinations, even Kingsley couldn’t help but come in and take a peek.

Ollivander closed the wooden box, stared into her eyes for the first time seriously, and gently rubbed his chin with his fingertips.

“What a picky customer.

None of the common cores suit you.

The only lucky thing is, this is Ollivander’s Wand Shop.”

He turned and walked to the deepest part of the shop, taking out an ancient wooden box covered in dust.

“I have a practice work from when I was young here.

I tried the possible cores at that time, and finally found three cores that are suitable for most people and powerful enough.

The wands made before were also kept.”

The wooden box opened slowly, and a wand with a gloomy tone and cold texture lay quietly on the black velvet lining.

The wand body was deep and heavy Yew, with twisted and bizarre textures.

“Thirteen inches, Yew, Thestral tail hair core.”

“Yew is a rare variety, their ideal masters are unusual, and occasionally even notorious—like the one who cannot be named, though his wand core is Phoenix feather.”

“And Thestrals, only those who have seen death can see them.

Thestral tail hair is extremely difficult to use in wands, this is my only successful piece.

This is a wand that might be able to master life and death.”

Elara felt that this Ollivander might not have tried Dementor materials—that might be the most suitable for her.

However, this one would do.

She slowly reached out and grasped that Yew wand.

No rejection, no stinging pain, no magic collision.

She felt a cool breeze brushing across her body.

She lifted her hand gently, there were no dazzling gold-red sparks, no scorching light.

A wisp of hazy gray-black mist drifted slowly from the tip of the wand, flowing quietly in the dim little shop.

[Yew Thestral tail hair core, Rare grade, 1000gp (gold coins), recycling price 800gp.

Do you want to sell?]

Naturally, “No”.

She could see it, wands of different materials and different cores counted as different magic items.

“Very interesting, Miss Elara.

Perhaps it is precisely because you have experienced too much life and death that you are so compatible.”

Elara bought the wand with seven Galleons, looking at the surrounding wands with reluctance—these were all money.

Then she left.
