After watching the Hungarian Horntail that he had frightened away fly off, Aine turned around and looked at the astonished expressions of the Weasley family and the Diggory father and son.

However, his attention was mainly focused on Charlie Weasley.

After all, Charlie had stayed here after graduating to study dragons.Full novel: Harry Potter: The Retired Archmage — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

When Charlie saw the Hungarian Horntail swallow its own dragon breath, his expression was as though he had witnessed something completely unbelievable.

Aine thought to himself: It seems Charlie has already begun studying dragons to some extent.

Otherwise, he would only be surprised like everyone else, rather than finding it unbelievable like the reserve staff.

Lydia sensed a trace of strange magic in the surrounding air.

Although the magical fluctuation was extremely faint, it was her own son’s magical signature.

After her initial surprise, she instinctively looked toward her son and happened to see that the magic in his eyes had not yet disappeared.

This confirmed her suspicion: her son must have something to do with the Hungarian Horntail’s strange action of swallowing its own dragon breath.

As the Weasley twins each placed an arm over their cousin’s shoulders and pulled him away, it seemed that she wasn’t the only one who had noticed something unusual.

After being dragged away, Aine found himself under the scrutiny of two identical faces.

The twins asked in unison, their voices lowered to a whisper, “How did you do that?”

Aine chose to play dumb.

“How did I do what?”

The red-haired twins exchanged a glance before looking back at Aine.

Aine fearlessly stared back at them as well.

Charlie had also realized what was happening by this point and walked over, but when he saw his twin younger brothers and Aine staring at one another without blinking, he figured he wouldn’t be able to get anything out of them and turned around and left.

The rest of the trip around the dragon reserve proceeded as usual.

However, because of the appearance of the Hungarian Horntail, the reserve’s management sent additional personnel to the area.

While Arthur was touring the dragon reserve, he noticed the unusual expression on Charlie’s face.

Arthur later had a private conversation with Charlie, and when it was time to leave, Charlie chose to stay behind for a while.

After all, Charlie was already in his sixth year, and it was time to start planning for his future.

This trip was not merely a family outing.

It was also specifically intended as a form of career exploration for Charlie, who was approaching adulthood.

After all, compared with joining the national Quidditch team, Arthur would rather Charlie have another option available to him.

Paland, who was talking with Arthur and Amos, had a completely different thought.

Is my son really this amazing already?

His mental power alone can frighten away a Hungarian Horntail.

Wouldn’t he be even more incredible in a few years?

Still, it wasn’t particularly strange.

His son was a natural Elemental Controller.

Elemental Controllers were as rare as Obscurials, and even ancient wizarding families knew very little about them.

Aine quickly put the Hungarian Horntail out of his mind and turned his attention to the dragon reserve’s guide to its flora and fauna.

Aside from dragons, there were many other magical creatures and magical plants.

Rather than calling the dragon reserve a reserve, it would be more accurate to describe it as a primitive ecological region.

This primitive ecological region produced a large quantity of magical materials.

The dragon reserve was a safe and legal area for resource extraction, but it occupied only one-tenth of Romania’s entire primitive reserve.

The remaining nine-tenths were unexplored and dangerous territory, filled with dangerous Dark creatures and highly dangerous magical beasts.

Wizards had even discovered Vampyr Bats and Chimeras within this dangerous region, as well as Sphinxes, which had already gone extinct in Egypt.

Having once lived as a person from a nation of food lovers, Aine quickly discovered a magical creature that might serve as an ingredient: the Spiral-Horned Rabbit.

According to Aine’s understanding, the horns of the Spiral-Horned Rabbit could be ground into powder and used as neutralizing and soothing agents in potions.

However, nobody seemed to know whether its rabbit meat could be used as food.

The Spiral-Horned Rabbit was also one of the magical creatures on the Romanian Longhorn Dragon’s menu.

Aine wondered whether he could purchase some live ones from the reserve to experiment with and develop a recipe.

Once he had the thought, he acted on it.

Aine went over and asked one of the reserve staff members.

That evening, Aine set up a simple earthen stove at the place where they were staying in the reserve.

As soon as he had lit the fire, the Weasley twins emerged from a concealed spot.

Seeing Aine fiddling with the earthen stove, Fred asked, “What are you doing?”

Without even turning his head, Aine replied, “I’m researching how to make Spiral-Horned Rabbit taste good!”

George sat down beside Aine without the slightest hesitation.

He also pulled Fred down beside him.

After finishing the earthen stove, Aine began ordering the two freeloaders around, having them help slaughter the Spiral-Horned Rabbits.

Fred held a small knife and looked at the Spiral-Horned Rabbit, then at George.

George looked at Fred before grabbing the Spiral-Horned Rabbit by its hind legs and lifting it up.

After Fred began working on the Spiral-Horned Rabbit, he also grabbed its ears and gave its neck a cut.

Rabbit blood immediately gushed out into a bowl that Aine had somehow produced from nowhere.

Once the blood stopped dripping, George released the Spiral-Horned Rabbit’s hind legs.

The rabbit, still held by Fred’s ears, kicked its hind legs a few times before becoming still.

Aine took the Spiral-Horned Rabbit and skillfully butchered it.

The horns, hide, and head were each placed separately to one side.

After finishing the preparation, Aine skillfully took the already-sharpened wooden skewers that Fred had somehow produced from an unknown place.

The three worked together with such practiced coordination that they looked like a proper team.

Charlie, watching from not far away, was left completely dumbfounded.

Charlie had originally come to keep an eye on the mischievous twins and protect them while he was at it.

He had never expected to see such a tightly coordinated trio.

These three cousins clearly had done this kind of thing many times before, otherwise they wouldn’t have suchperfect coordination.

When Charlie saw Aine take two more Spiral-Horned Rabbits out of a cage, he immediately realized that this was a premeditated operation.

Charlie sat on the ground and watched the three of them place the prepared Spiral-Horned Rabbits on the earthen stove to roast them dry.

Fred asked, “How long do we roast them?”

Aine held the prepared rabbit meat and said, “Roast them for twenty minutes first to dry out the moisture.

Get some ice water, and don’t forget the honey!”

As soon as Aine finished speaking, Bill appeared from somewhere.

He tapped a stone with his wand, transforming it into a large barrel.

He then took a bottle of honey from a bag he was carrying.

Aine wasn’t surprised when Bill appeared.

After all, he had already sensed Bill and Charlie’s arrival.

Aine watched as Bill transformed the stone into a barrel.

He pointed at the barrel with the index finger of his empty left hand.

Before long, the barrel was filled with water, and then several chunks of ice dropped from above into the water.

Fred and George weren’t surprised by this sight either, but Bill still sighed in amazement.

“No matter how many times I see it, I still find it unbelievable.

Your control over elemental magic is truly incredible.

If I were doing it, I’d need at least two or three spells.

You can do it with just a wave of your hand.”
