The dust hadn’t fully settled as Denki took it all in.

When he first got here to relax and wait for his friend to wake up, he didn’t bother to activate his Electric Field.

With no enemies around it became a sort of safe space in the forest.

Even when the intruder appeared Denki still didn’t feel too concerned.

He knew the type of strength the one who lived here had, and seeing how much stronger and bigger he was compared to the opponent.

Denki had faith he would come out on top in a fight, and that was just what was going to happen.

But now with the appearance of a Razorback Grizzly in the mix he wasn’t sure what this would lead to

The intruder still bruised and injured didn’t retreat when the Grizzly appeared, instead, it let out a sharp, guttural call—short and deliberate.

The Razorback Grizzly answered immediately with a low, rumbling growl.

Denki’s blood ran cold

“…They’re working together”

The intruder charged again, not head-on this time.

It moved wide, forcing the Titanback to turn, to shift its footing.

The moment it did, the grizzly struck—darting in from the blind side, claws flashing.

SHRRK

Another set of gashes tore across the Titanback’s side

The Titanback roared, swinging wildly, but the bear was already gone—fast despite its size, moving like a living blade.

The intruder slammed into the Titanback’s chest from the front, driving it backward step by step.

Denki clenched the branch beneath his fingers

(He planned this… He knew he couldn’t win on his own)

The Titanback fought back with terrifying strength—grabbing the intruder by the shoulder and hurling it into a fallen log hard enough to split the wood clean in half.

But the moment it committed, the Razorback was there again, carving across its leg.

Blood darkened the ground

The Titanback staggered

Still standing—but slower now.

Breathing heavier.

Turning its head just a bit too late each time.

Denki’s chest tightened

“…That’s enough”

Electricity crackled along his arms

He didn’t hesitate

Denki launched himself from the branch, lightning exploding beneath his feet as he dropped into the clearing like a falling star.

The impact sent a ring of dust and sparks outward as he landed between the combatants

The intruder and the grizzly barely spared him a glance

Too small

Too weak

Not worth noticing

They went to move past him—

—and that was their mistake

Denki let everything go

A violent surge of electricity burst from his body, lightning lashing outward in thick, branching arcs.

RAIL SPARK: FULL DRIVE.

The ground beneath him lit up in glowing lines, electricity racing across stone and dirt like veins of light.

Denki vanished in a flash of yellow.

He reappeared in front of the intruder gorilla and drove a lightning-coated punch straight into its chest.

THUNDER PUNCH

The impact detonated with a deafening crack, hurling the already injured gorilla backward and slamming it into a boulder hard enough to topple it down

The Razorback Grizzly reacted—whipping around with a roar and slashing toward Denki.

Denki slid under the claws, electricity screaming along his body as he skidded across the ground, then snapped his hand upward.

STATIC PULSE WEB — OVERCHARGE

A dense lattice of crackling electricity exploded outward, wrapping around the grizzly’s forelimbs and chest.

The bear snarled as its muscles seized, its momentum halting for just a second—

—but a second was all Denki needed

Lightning burst beneath his feet, and came down hard—both hands slammed into the ground.

FIELD SURGE

Electricity flooded the clearing

Not enough to kill

Enough to paralyze

The grizzly howled as its limbs locked mid-movement, claws gouging deep furrows into the earth as it struggled.

The intruder groaned, trying—and failing—to push itself back up

The Titanback stared

Then it roared

A deep, thunderous sound full of fury and pride

It charged

The ground shook as the Titanback slammed into the intruder first—grabbing it by the shoulders and driving it headfirst into the earth.

Stone and dirt erupted as the Titanback followed with a brutal downward punch.

The Razorback Grizzly broke free of the web with a violent jerk and lunged—

—and Denki was already there.

Lightning wrapped around its arms and legs as it was thoroughly trapped in a cocoon of electricity, Denki holding it down with a lightning-crafted rope.

The clearing burned with light and thunder as the Grizzly tugged and slashed at the electricity, breaking it apart—but it regenerated just as quickly.

(You wanted a fight?)

He grinned through clenched teeth

(You two picked the wrong territory for it)

~~~~~~
Denki planted his feet and poured more power into the lightning rope, muscles screaming as the Razorback Grizzly thrashed against it.
The Titanback used the opening immediately—driving a massive fist into the intruder gorilla’s ribs with a crack that echoed through the clearing.
But even with Denki’s help, the weight was too much
The Titanback was strong—monstrously so—but now it was fighting two enemies at once.
Denki could feel it in the way the ground kept shaking, in the way his lightning had to constantly readjust just to keep the Grizzly restrained.
(I can’t replace raw power) Denki realized (But I don’t have to)
The first strike came fast
A concentrated bolt slammed into the Razorback’s shoulder, burning a deep groove through fur and hide.
The bear roared, stumbling sideways as sparks danced across its claws.
Denki didn’t stop—he followed with a second and third blast, each one timed between the Titanback’s crushing blows.
For a moment, it worked
The intruders had been caught off guard.
The Grizzly reeled, and the challenger gorilla took a full-body slam from the Titanback that sent it skidding across shattered stone.
But then they adapted
The Razorback lowered its stance, muscles bulging as its claws dug into the ground.
Its hide thickened, scars smoking but no longer splitting under Denki’s lightning.
The next bolt hit—and this time the bear barely flinched, teeth bared in a vicious snarl.
The challenger gorilla recovered as well, rolling to its feet and slamming both fists into its chest.
Its quirk surged, density and mass spiking as it braced itself for impact.
When Denki fired again, the electricity crawled across its skin… and bled harmlessly into the ground.
“Damn it” Denki muttered
The Grizzly lunged through the next blast, claws ripping through the air where Denki had been a second earlier.
He barely twisted away, a shallow cut tearing across his jacket as he skidded along the dirt.
The challenger didn’t waste the opening
It charged the Titanback head-on, locking arms with it in a titanic clash.
The earth buckled beneath their feet as strength met strength, neither willing to give ground.
Denki circled fast, electricity flaring brighter as he reassessed
(They can tank my normal hits now. Their bodies were built for this)
He clenched his fists, lightning crawling up his arms like living veins.
Then he vanished in a crack of thunder, reappearing near the Grizzly’s side and drove a lightning-coated kick into the back of its knee.
The joint seized up for half a second—just long enough.
The Titanback roared and capitalized instantly, hammering a blow into the challenger’s side that sent shockwaves rippling through the clearing.
Denki skidded back, sweat dripping from his brow.
He wasn’t strong enough to carry this fight
But he was fast.
Precise.
Unpredictable
And as long as he stayed in the fight—
—neither intruder could afford to ignore him
Lightning flared outward as he split the charge mid-stride, shaping it with practiced precision.
A second Denki tore itself free from the storm beside him—pure electricity given form, crackling and unstable but convincing enough at a glance.
Both Denki and the clone moved
The clone rushed straight in, hurling arcs of lightning while the real Denki vanished into the trees, reappearing at sharp angles, striking from blind spots.
Bolts hammered into the challenger’s back.
The Razorback swiped at the clone, claws tearing through sparks instead of flesh.
For a few precious seconds, confusion ruled
Then the Grizzly snarled
It slammed both claws into the ground, sending a violent shock through the earth.
The force disrupted the clone’s structure, its outline flickering wildly.
The challenger followed through, driving a massive fist straight through the clone’s chest.
The lightning clone shattered
The feedback hit Denki instantly—his senses blurring, teeth grinding as the connection snapped.
The clone dispersed in a burst of light, leaving only smoke and scorched ground behind.
“Tch—!”
That moment was all they needed
The challenger and the Razorback moved together, a shoulder check from the gorilla forced Denki back, while the Grizzly slashed low, forcing him to leap away instead of attacking
Two seconds
That was it
But in those two seconds, the intruders acted
The challenger seized the Titanback by the arm, heaving with everything it had.
The Razorback followed up, raking claws across the Titanback’s chest before delivering a brutal full-body slam.
The Titanback was launched
Its massive body crashed through the air and slammed into the colossal tree at the center of the clearing.
The trunk groaned, bark exploding outward as the impact shook the entire area.
Denki’s heart dropped
“That’s not good!”
The intruders didn’t hesitate.
Both turned and charged toward the fallen king, intent on finishing it before it could rise.
“No—!”
Denki thrust both hands forward
Twin electric whips lashed out, snapping around the challenger’s torso and the Razorback’s forelimbs.
Lightning flared violently as Denki planted his feet, muscles burning as he poured everything he had into holding them back.
The ground scorched beneath him
“You guys ain’t going anywhere”
The intruders snarled, straining against the restraints.
For a split second—just a split second—they were stopped.
Then the whips shattered
The challenger tore free with raw force, electricity exploding off its body.
The Razorback ripped the other whip apart with a vicious swipe, sparks raining across the clearing.
Both turned
Their focus locked squarely onto Denki
The pressure was immediate—predatory, crushing
(Bad. Really bad)
Denki didn’t wait for them to move
Claws and fists smashed into the ground where he’d been moments before, leaving craters and shattered stone behind.
He didn’t stop moving
He couldn’t
Every dodge was razor-thin.
Every leap barely cleared snapping jaws and crushing hands.
Lightning cracked from his body in wild arcs as he fired shots on the move—not to damage, but to control
(Gotta keep them on me)
Denki angled his movements carefully, circling wide, dragging their attention farther and farther away from the Titanback.
Bolts lashed at their feet, sudden flashes blinded them for fractions of a second—just enough.
His lungs burned.
His legs screamed.
(One hit) his mind screamed (One hit and it’s game over)
But Denki gritted his teeth and pushed harder, electricity roaring as he danced between life and death—standing alone against two monsters, buying time with nothing but speed, lightning, and sheer freaking will
The Razorback Grizzly struck first
Its massive arm swept through the air with brutal speed, claws carving a shrieking arc that Denki barely saw in time.
He twisted instinctively—
—and was forced up
The blow tore through the space where he’d been, the pressure alone launching him skyward.
Wind ripped past his ears as the ground vanished beneath him.
He was in the air
Before he could react, the challenger moved
With a roar, it seized the Razorback by the scruff and hurled it.
The Grizzly became a living missile, its blood-slicked claws gleaming as it spun through the air, trajectory locked straight onto Denki.
His heart slammed against his ribs.
Nothing to jump from.
No ground.
No trees.
No boulders—
No escape.
Denki panicked as electricity flooded his body all at once—wild, unstable, screaming through every nerve.
His vision washed white as the charge bled outward, interacting violently with the air around him.
The Grizzly powered through the lightning with adrenaline temporarily making it ignore the pain
Near Denki’s foot, the lightning condensed
Electrons packed tighter and tighter, the air screaming as it ionized—until it felt solid
Denki didn’t think
He kicked
The explosion was deafening
Lightning detonated beneath his foot, launching him sideways like a rocket just as the Grizzly’s claws sliced through the space he’d occupied.
The shockwave ripped through the clearing, blasting debris outward in a violent ring.
Denki slammed into the ground meters away, impact carving a crater beneath him.
Pain flared—but he was alive.
He lay there, staring up at the sky, lungs burning as his brain tried to catch up to what his body had just done.
(Did I just—)
Heavy footsteps cut through the haze
The challenger and Razorback had already regrouped, turning and advancing toward him, intent clear.
They’re going to finish this
Then—
ROOOOAAARRR
The sound wasn’t just loud
It was monstrous
Both intruders froze
Denki felt it in his bones
He turned his head just in time to see the Titanback Gorilla rising
Its massive hands dug into the shattered trunk around the central tree—the very one it had been thrown into earlier.
Muscles bulged grotesquely as it pulled.
The ground cracked
Roots snapped.
Stone fractured.
The entire clearing trembled as the Titanback wrenched the tree free—roots, soil, and all.
The thing was enormous
Eight stories tall, thick enough that Denki couldn’t even wrap his mind around its weight.
Something he’d never once considered liftable.
The Titanback roared again, planting its feet, locking its stance into the ground like an immovable anchor.
With a shift of its shoulders and a full-body heave—
It swung the tree
The air itself seemed to crack
Denki didn’t hesitate
He flattened himself against the ground, pressing down as if trying to sink into it.
The tree tore through the clearing like a god’s hammer
Boulders shattered.
Logs disintegrated.
The ground split apart as the massive trunk swept through everything in its path.
The intruders were caught mid-motion
They were hit
A deafening crack of bones was heard as the challenger and the Razorback were slammed by the colossal trunk and sent flying—bodies hurled deep into the surrounding forest, crashing through trees in a thunderous cascade of destruction.
Silence followed
Dust drifted slowly through the air
Denki lifted his head just in time to see the Titanback step forward and set the tree back into place, roots still half-exposed, as if it had merely adjusted the scenery rather than rewritten the laws of strength.
Denki lay there, stunned
“…Yeah” he muttered dryly
“I wasn’t beating you. Ever”
