“I’m home.”
Having been discharged from the hospital and picked up by his mother in her car, Kenji arrived back at the house.
As he passed through the large gate and entrance he still wasn’t used to, Rias and Asia came out to greet him.
“Welcome back, Kenji-kun.
I’m so glad you could be discharged.”
“Thanks…”
As Asia patted her chest in relief, Kenji gave a curt nod.
Her massive, soft breasts jiggled noticeably under her clothes with the motion—Asia’s voluptuous figure, with her long golden blonde hair, gentle emerald-green eyes, and curvaceous body that featured an enormous bust, slim waist, and wide hips, made her look like the perfect innocent yet seductive beauty.
“I’m sorry about the other day.
I’ll have Akeno come by to apologize properly later.”
She was likely referring to the fact that Akeno had slapped Kenji’s cheek during the hospital visit.
However, Kenji felt a sense of wrongness about Rias being the one to apologize.
“Um…
I don’t think it’s something for you to apologize for, Rias-san?”
This was strictly an issue between Kenji and Akeno; it wasn’t Rias’s responsibility to say sorry.
At that, Rias gave a troubled, wry smile.
“Well, you know.
I am the President, right?
The President takes responsibility for the problems caused by her members.”
Rias winked with a hint of playfulness, brushing it off.
Her own crimson hair and stunning, elegant figure with large breasts and perfect proportions only added to the overwhelming beauty in the room.
Kenji thought, Is that how it works?
but didn’t say anything more.
Then, he pointed out something that had been bothering him.
“By the way, what’s with that mountain of boxes you’ve been sorting through since a while ago?”
He gestured toward the pile of boxes that looked like presents, occupying a section of the entrance space.
Rias explained, looking a bit hesitant.
Apparently, the scion of a company related to Rias’s family had his life saved by Asia in the past.
They happened to run into each other when Asia went to Rias’s family home during summer vacation, and since then, he had been sending presents along with romantic advances.
Supposedly, when they met, he had even proposed to her.
Kenji looked at the pile of expensive-looking gifts.
(A rich stalker?)
While thinking such a rude thought, he managed to squeeze out an opinion.
“That’s a real Cinderella story, then.”
Having a wealthy heir feel that strongly about her wasn’t necessarily a bad thing, provided the person’s personality wasn’t a problem.
Of course, that was assuming Asia was interested.
At Kenji’s words, Asia and Rias both gave troubled smiles.
From that reaction, he figured there was no chance for the guy.
“What a thing to say!”
Issei came stomping down the stairs looking displeased, having overheard the conversation at some point.
“I’ll never approve of Asia marrying into a place like that!
I’m not giving our Asia-chan away as a bride!”
As Issei snorted aggressively and made an ‘X’ sign with his arms, Kenji let out a sigh.
For some reason, Asia looked happy about it, blushing and smiling bashfully.
(Giving her away as a bride…
does Brother even have the right to decide that?
At the very least, I think that guy is better than someone who ogles every woman he sees…)
Kenji, not knowing what kind of person Asia’s suitor was, cursed inwardly.
Then, remembering something, Kenji spoke to his mother.
“Mom, I don’t need dinner tomorrow.
Kyoji-san said he’d treat me and some friends to yakiniku to celebrate me getting out of the hospital.”
Feeling bad that Kenji had been attacked because he hadn’t driven him all the way home, Kyoji had promised to take Kenji, Yosuke, and Tomoya out for yakiniku as an apology.
But if something like last time happens again…”
“I’m going to have them drop me off right at the door tomorrow, so it’ll be fine.
You know Kyoji-san is a black belt in karate, right?”
“But still…”
As his mother continued to look worried, Rias made a suggestion.
“In that case, why don’t you bring those people here?
We’d like to celebrate Kenji’s discharge as well.”
“Ah, that’s a great idea!”
Asia agreed with Rias’s proposal.
However, Kenji showed reluctance.
“Sorry.
I want to enjoy myself with my friends this time, so if possible…”
“The President went out of her way to give a suggestion, what’s with that attitude!”
As Issei gave him a light scolding, Rias stepped in to stop him.
She thought that if this continued, it would be a repeat of the hospital incident.
“It’s fine, Issei.
Even if we invited them suddenly, it might make Kenji’s friends feel awkward.
But please, let us celebrate your discharge another time, okay?”
“Ah, yes.
Thank you.”
Grateful to Rias for backing down, he returned to his room.
On the way, he encountered Koneko.
“Ah.”
Their voices overlapped as they both let out a small sound.
Then, they immediately averted their eyes from each other.
Because of the hospital incident and the “dream” seen afterward, they couldn’t look each other in the face.
Still, they couldn’t just stand there forever, so Koneko spoke up.
“…Congratulations on being discharged.
How is your body feeling?”
“The pain has subsided, so I’m fine.
Sorry for making you worry.”
“…If anything happens, tell me.”
“Yes.
Thank you.”
In the awkward atmosphere, they managed to exchange just that much conversation before returning to their respective rooms.
A few days later.
After some discussion, it was decided that the several students from Kuoh Academy Senior High who had assaulted Kenji would be expelled.
In addition, they were ordered to pay Kenji’s medical expenses plus consolation money.
A restraining order preventing them from approaching the victim, Kenji Hyodo, was also added.
The other side, especially the parents, asked for a lighter sentence, but their pleas were not heard, and it was decided they would be moving away soon.
The new semester began, and while the news of Kenji being assaulted had spread throughout the school, most of his classmates were sympathetic toward him, and he spent his days without issue.
The high school group, including his brother Issei, had been very considerate right after his discharge, but as they became busy with preparations and practice for the Sports Festival, the distance between them naturally returned to what it was before.
Only Irina, whom he had known for a long time, would sometimes push her way into his space, but for the most part, life was returning to how it used to be.
(The fridge is so far away because the house got so big.)
As he grumbled to himself in his head, he ran into Asia.
“Ah, Kenji-kun.”
“Hello.”
She looked as though she had just gotten out of the bath, her fair skin slightly flushed, long blonde hair still damp and clinging to her neck and the tops of her enormous, heavy breasts that strained against her thin clothes.
He didn’t have anything particular to talk about, but since the silence was painful, he brought up a topic.
“The Sports Festival…”
“Eh?”
“I don’t have school that day.
Good luck.”
Kuoh’s Sports Festival is held on a weekend, with the following Monday being a holiday.
Hearing that, Asia’s face brightened up instantly.
“Yes!
I’m actually going to be in the three-legged race with Issei-san!”
“…I see.”
As he responded while trying to keep his expression neutral, Asia was remembering when she first came to the Hyodo household.
“Issei-san, Father, and Mother too…
but I’ve also been constantly looked after by you, Kenji-kun.”
“I haven’t done anything.”
In reality, it was Issei who brought Asia here, and his parents who allowed her to stay.
Kenji had mostly just gone along with the flow.
However, Asia shook her head.
“That’s not true.
You celebrated my birthday shortly after I first came to the Hyodo house, didn’t you?”
Shortly after Asia started living with them was her birthday.
The members of the Occult Research Club had celebrated Asia’s birthday together.
“Even though we hadn’t talked much yet, you even prepared a present for me.
I was so happy.
I use that comb very carefully every day.”
For Asia’s birthday, Kenji had given her a comb that cost about 3,000 yen.
He remembered being shocked when he went to buy it and found out that combs costing tens of thousands of yen actually existed.
“I thought your hair was beautiful.
And I don’t really know any hair care tools other than combs.”
At those words, Asia blushed but smiled happily, her massive chest heaving with emotion.
Having finished their talk, they both started to walk in separate directions.
However, as Asia turned on her heel, she tripped over her own feet and was about to fall.
Kenji reflexively grabbed her arm to support her, but he couldn’t hold his footing, and they both fell down with him being pulled along.
“!?
I’m sorry!!”
Kenji, who ended up pinning Asia down, scrambled to get up.
His face was bright red because his face had been buried deep in Asia’s enormous, soft, pillowy breasts.
The warm, sweet-scented valley of her cleavage enveloped his face completely, the plush flesh pressing against his cheeks.
Asia didn’t seem to have noticed that because of the shock of the fall, and she didn’t show any particular reaction to it.
“I’m sorry too.
Thank you for trying to help m—”
As Asia was about to say thank you, a voice came flying in from elsewhere.
“Kenji!
What do you think you’re doing to Asia!”
Issei came toward them with an expression that was hard to tell if he was angry or panicked.
“W-Why are you pinning Asia down, Kenji!
W-What were you trying to do to her!?”
Apparently, from Issei’s perspective, it looked as if Kenji had tackled Asia.
“N-No!
Kenji-kun was trying to save me!”
When she explained the gist of what happened, Issei’s eyes darted around as he said, “I-I see.”
“S-Sorry about that, for yelling at you.
Lately, there’s been a lot going on around Asia, so I was being oversensitive.”
Issei apologized.
Kenji replied gloomily.
“The fact that you can apologize immediately might be a virtue, but maybe you should try to be more careful with your words and actions so you don’t have to apologize in the first place?”
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
“Exactly what I said.”
