After the guards fell to the ground, the sunlight caught the face of the mysterious person.
She was a blonde-haired girl with her hair tied into ponytails, wearing a long white coat trimmed with red.
“Looks like you’re on the run like me,” she said.
Glacia looked at her in shock.
“Who are you?”
“Oh, I guess it’s rude to not introduce myself first to people from the upper ground,” the blonde girl replied.
“I’m Katherina, a thief from the lower ground.”
[Character Bio]Name: Katherina Grígora
Faction: Bandit
Strast: Third Eyes.
She has a distinct tattoo of eyes on her tongue.
When all three of the eyes lock gazes with a target, the opponent is completely frozen mid-action for 5 seconds.
However, activating this ability drains a massive amount of her stamina.
Appearance: A white-skinned girl with black eyes and blonde hair tied up into neat ponytails.
She usually wears her favorite white coat with red trim, which she uses to easily hide and smuggle stolen goods.
Favorite Thing: Anything that can be sold for a profit.
Vermont looked confused.
“What lower ground?”
Katherina brushed the dust off her glove.
“A lower city right under the sewer system.”
Suddenly, a royal guard intercepted them.
He had piercing green eyes and held a sharp saber.
A black pelisse coat lay draped over his right shoulder, its edges trimmed with red fur, with each metal button perfectly placed and a silver cord looped like a slithering snake.
“Stop right there, you outsiders!” the royal guard shouted.
Katherina quickly dashed in, moving to defend herself.
She threw a swift hook right at the royal guard’s face.
The guard slashed back with his saber, but Katherina dodged the blade.
Unexpectedly, the royal guard rushed forward again, thrusting his weapon.
Katherina immediately stuck out her tongue, revealing her eye tattoo.
The three tattooed eyes instantly locked onto the royal guard.
The moment their gazes met, the royal guard froze completely mid-action.
With her opponent paralyzed by her “Third Eyes” ability, Katherina quickly kicked him.
Even after three seconds, he remained completely frozen.
She followed up with a hard punch.
Two seconds later, the five-second limit expired, and the royal guard could move again.
The guard smirked.
“Looks like you aren’t so tough.”
He clapped his hands together and shouted, “Rook!”
A hand clad in white knight armor burst out of the ground.
As the entity fully climbed into the alley, it revealed a massive knight in white armor.
Its left shoulder was shaped into a large piece resembling a Rook from a chess set, with a long cloth covering the arm, while its right hand gripped a long spear.
“Looks like you’ve got a power like me,” Katherina muttered.
Not waiting a single second, she struck first, punching the Rook squarely in the chest.
A sharp pain shot through her knuckles from hitting the solid iron armor with her bare fist.
The Rook lunged, thrusting its spear forward, but Katherina executed a swift backflip to evade the strike.
Where the spear had been raised, a strange black substance began to cover a small part of the Rook’s left shoulder piece.
Suddenly, Vermont stepped forward.
A black, paper-thin whip manifested from her hand, lashing out with immense force.
It struck the center of the Rook’s chest plate, shattering the heavy armor completely on impact.
