Fokusar walked into the train.
The interior was decorated with warm lighting, and the carpet felt as comfortable as his own bed.
The warmth made him feel like he never wanted to leave.
Glacia walked in just as the train doors closed.
“Who did you bring?” a guy with brown hair, yellow eyes, and a black suit asked.
“Just a new recruit,” Glacia replied.
“He’s got good skills and strategy.”
“What is it, then?” the brown-haired guy asked.
“Evading,” Fokusar replied.
“Then let’s test it.
You and me, hand-to-hand combat,” the guy said, pulling up his sleeves.
“Let’s go,” Fokusar said.
He got ready to fight, holding his fists up high, determined not to let his guard down anytime soon.
Suddenly, a punch flew straight into Fokusar’s stomach.
“Ugh!” Fokusar gasped, but he quickly snapped back into his fighting stance.
Another punch flew toward Fokusar’s face.
Reacting instantly, Fokusar bent his back backward, letting the fist fly just past his nose.
He quickly countered, throwing a punch right back at the brown-haired guy.
A blue semicircle appeared under Fokusar’s eye.
“Wow, fast reflexes,” the brown-haired guy said, smirking.
“But can you take this?”
He quickly threw a rapid flurry of punches.
Fokusar dashed forward.
Now that the world had slowed down for him, he could dodge every single strike.
Fokusar quickly crouched low and swept the brown-haired guy’s legs out from under him.
“Ouch!” The brown-haired guy hit the ground hard.
“You did good…
but can you dodge this?”
Still on the floor, the guy pulled out a revolver and fired a shot.
The bullet tore through the air, hurtling straight toward Fokusar’s head.
Fokusar quickly focused all his attention on the bullet.
