“Fuck!! She didn’t come to the concert and we are leaving tomorrow.”

Simon exclaimed in frustration, bothered by Zara’s absence more than Sebastian because he was so excited to see the mysterious girl but failed.

Sebastian ignored Simon, pacing around the room anxiously.Full novel: His Sparkling Sunshine — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

He asked Lucien to capture the photo of every single person who attended the concert in the name of gifting few lucky fans with something but he didn’t see her picture which means she didn’t come.

But why??

Didn’t she want to meet him?

Didn’t she understand his feelings after listening to his song?

It clearly tells how much she meant to him.

And she didn’t attempt to approach him in the past one year.

“Simon, let’s go.”

After pacing around for few minutes, Sebastian remembered something and hurried out.

He didn’t want to give up yet.

“Where are we going in the middle of the night?”

Simon asked but stood up and followed Sebastian who is putting on his shoes in haste.

“Just put on the damn shoes already.”

After thirty minutes, Lucien parked the car at the shore and waited.

Sebastian searched the whole beach to find her but she is nowhere?

He didn’t know why he is here but he strongly believed that, that night meant something to her.

If she has feelings for him, she will surely come here because only this silence made him feel about her.

He closed his eyes, hoping her presence near him and asked the sea about her because he wants to know the answers from the silence.

“Why are we here Lucien?” asked Simon staring at Sebastian who is now facing the sea deep in thoughts.

“I don’t know, perhaps it has something to do with her.”

Otherwise Sebastian wouldn’t be here.

“Did you see her?”

Simon asked curiously and widened his eyes when Lucien nodded his head.

“Yes”

“Really!!”

He leaned towards Lucien and held his shoulders excitedly and said.

“How does she look? Sebasty said that she looks like an angel from the heaven.”

Lucien shook his head at his words and looked at Sebastian’s back.

“She may not be an angel but she is really special Simon. I liked her at first sight. She knows how to make him happy.”

He sighed, remembering her actions and a gentle smile played on his lips.

“Damn!! I am dying to see the special girl man.”

Simon glanced around expectantly, hoping to see Zara because something’s telling him that she’s going to be a part of their family soon.

They waited at the beach for an hour, their patience draining as time passed and just when Simon wanted to get down the car, he saw a figure running towards Sebastian.

“She is not tiny.” mumbled Simon as he narrowed his eyes at the woman.

“What?”

Lucien who is resting in his seat with his eyes closed sat up straight, looking at him.

Simon gestured his eyes towards the people in front of them and said.

“He said she is small but look at her.”

Lucien frowned at the woman as he realized it’s not Zara because just like Sebastian said she’s tiny like a little girl but the woman who approached Sebastian now is tall.

“It’s not her.”

He said getting down the car to protect Sebastian but stopped when she gave him the phone.

Sebastian who was disturbed by an unfamiliar voice stared at the stranger with caution.

Just as he tried to alert Lucien, she gasped looking at him and immediately handed him over her phone and without thinking he took the phone, placing it close to his ear.

Because he’s sure that it’s Zara on the other side.

He can feel her.

Silence descended between them for sometime as neither took the initiative to speak and let the silence rule over their minds until Zara lost the battle and opened her mouth.

“This is wrong from the beginning.”

He can hear her hoarse voice and felt a pang in his chest.

Did she cry?

But her words rumbled a chuckle out of his mouth.

“Let’s make it right by getting MARRIED. What do you say?”

Zara was dumbfounded by his humour, her body stiffening as her mind registered his intention.

Marriage?

“A..Are you insane?”

She stammered and uttered few words with great difficulty because he caught her off guard by bringing out the topic of marriage.

“You made me insane.”

Sebastian groaned, running his fingers through his ruffled hair and closed his eyes, feeling pity for himself.

She’s driving him crazy.

“I told you we are impossible.”

She pleaded him, her fingers rubbing her temples as a dull headache slowly made it’s way into her.

She didn’t know how to put some sense into his brain.

“Why? If you are worried about my parents. I assure you, you will have two pairs of parents after marriage.”

He promised her sincerely because his parents always longed for a daughter.

They treats his sister-in-law like their own daughter and he is sure they will treat her like one as well.

But his promise didn’t assure Zara as tears pooled in her eyes.

“I am not worried about your parents.”

It’s true.

Her worry is about her dad.

He will kill her if he knew about Sebastian and the things she did with him.

“I will talk to yours. I promise th…”

Sebastian said in a hurry, eager to get her back but Zara cut him off.

“NO!”

She shouted loudly, stopping him from making more promises.

They are impossible and she wants him to quit.

Right now.

“I said we can’t be together. Please let me go. Let US go.”

She begged him desperately, trying to convince him and heard foot steps outside.

She panicked and stood up hurriedly, making her way to the door and locked it quickly and only then did she breathe in relief.

“What’s your problem? You don’t want to be with me?”

Sebastian asked her in confusion, not understanding why she’s backing away.

For fuck sake they shared a special moment together and he wants her so bad, will do anything to have her.

Why can’t she understand?

“Argh! Fuck! Just say something.”

He yelled at her, pacing around, annoyed by her rejection.

Zara can’t take his nonsense anymore.

Why is he so stubborn?

He’s acting like the desperate one.

She saw his dating history while searching for his songs and it is more interesting than the sex god himself.

Why not choose from one of his dated girls instead of yelling at her to be with him?

“What do you want me to say? Don’t you know the meaning of one night stand?”

She yelled back, mad at him for dating other women and also to make him give up.

She won’t mind being the bad guy.

Sebastian halted his footsteps, stunned by her cold words which pierced his heart like a dagger.

“One night stand? Really? So it was just a one night stand to you?”

He whispered in heartbreak, still finding it hard to believe her words.

It’s as if a bucket of cold water poured on his head.

Zara covered her mouth with her hand, stifling her sobs and shook her head.

No!

It wasn’t a one night stand.

It’s more than that, her everything, her love, her life but she can’t say any of that out loud.

She has to end this.

Thus she took few deep breaths, steeling her heart, turning her tone cold and hard.

“Yes!! And I don’t want you to ever disturb me in my life.”

Sebastian is so angry that he growled like a hurt animal.

He raised his head, looking at the stars, his breaths coming out hurry.

How dare she to say that night, their precious night was a one night stand?

He can feel her love for him otherwise she wouldn’t ask her friend to come here at this time.

How can she even predict that he would be here for her?

She is definitely hiding something from him.

“Are you married?”

Sebastian asked her when he realized something and panicked.

It’s been two years since they parted ways and there might be a chance that she….No way….

D..did she move on?

“Answer me.”

He roared, making her tremble in fear and she shook her head, answering him subconsciously.

“No.”

He heaved a sigh as the tension drained from his body and looked at the vast sea with a smile.

For a second he thought she’s gone from his reach.

If she’s not married, he still has a chance to get her back into his arms.

“Tell me one good reason for your rejection.”

Zara hit her forehead with her fist, helpless about his pestering.

Why can’t he just let her go?

“I told you it’s just a one night stand.”

She whispered huskily, repeating her words, making him angry again.

“Where the fuck are you?”

Sebastian bellowed, looking at his surroundings, searching for her figure.

If she is here, he’ll drag her with him to his mansion and lock her in his bedroom till she accepts the fact that she has feelings for him.

“Why should I tell you?”

Zara lost her patience when he kept on pushing her limits and yelled back.

She doesn’t want him to know about her whereabouts.

Period.

“Very good! You hid your identity from me. Well done woman but remember, I am Sebastian Wild, your Bash. I will fucking find you and when I did that, you will never be able to escape from me. Understood!!”

Zara gulped hearing his dangerous tone and wiped the sweat dripping from her forehead.

Did she make a mistake by calling him?

She thought she could convince him but he seems serious about her.

What should she do now?

“I am engaged.”

She lied.

Desperate to get rid of him because he didn’t sound like he’s joking when he said he’ll find her.

Perhaps, he will back off now.

But Zara underestimated Sebastian.

If she’s really engaged, she wouldn’t have asked her friend to meet him here.

He scoffed at her lame excuse and looked at the waves which are soaking his feet in amusement.

He couldn’t believe that she rather lie than be with him.

Why is she pushing him away when she loves him?

Or did she really move on?

No, never!

He’ll never let her forget about that night in this life time.

“YOU ARE MINE AND I WANT YOU IN MY LIFE.”

Throwing down those words, he hung up the call.

Zara was frightened by his determination and called back many times but no one picked her calls.

She threw her phone to the floor and clutched her hair crying hard.
