Zara collapsed on the bed after having dinner with brain full of thoughts.

Her mother’s call and the reminder of her promise killed her appetite but she didn’t want to waste the food she cooked with love so she stuffed her belly unwillingly.

Having no one to spend time with, Zara took out her speaker and played her favourite songs to kill time and to pull her out of her dad’s thoughts.

She stood up as the music played and swirled her body according to the rhythm, letting go of herself to the song.

This is it.

She wants to get away from everything and she’s thankful to her boys for making such beautiful songs.

Time passed quickly and she was so immersed in the music that she didn’t hear the front door open.

“Oh my god Zara!!! Can you please reduce the volume?”

Selina shouted as she made her way upstairs hurriedly, scared by the loud noise but Zara didn’t listen to her and increased the volume a bit more.

She didn’t forget to wink at Selina after that and swirled around holding the comb as a mic and sang the song aloud.

Selina had enough of Zara’s craziness and threw away her bag on the bed before switching off the speaker in a huff.

“I will kill that whole band for making you lose your mind. You are crazy about them and you are making our home a living hell every night.”

Selina scolded her angrily making the poor girl frown.

“Do not speak about them like that Selina. If you bad mouth them, you bad mouth me.”

Selina opened her mouth to retort but no words came out.

What can she say?

She shook her head in defeat and took her bag before retreating to her room.

The crazy girl loves LTW pop band to the point that she never tolerates if anyone talks bad about them.

Ridiculous!

Selina is not a fan of that band and on the contrary she hates them because Zara is crazy over that band, especially in love with the main dancer who possessed dark hair.

She scolds and fights with everyone who mocks him.

Crazy girl.

After taking a hot shower both of them came to the living room to watch TV, their routine and settled on the couch.

“Let’s watch a movie” said Selina and tried to play an action film but Zara snatched the remote from her and played a music video of LTW.

Selina’s face turned red with fury but she held back.

This is not the first time Zara did this.

Now she is thinking of buying another TV or else she would end up breaking this one.

“Your drool is all over the place Zara” commented Selina staring at the infatuated girl who is watching the screen without blinking her eyes as if she is looking at her lover.

Zara gasped as she touched her lips and found nothing.

“You will die of heart ache if you look at them.”

She cursed with a pout and cuddled in the couch, glaring at her infuriating friend.

Why is she hostile towards LTW?

They’re the living gods of the world.

“I’ve been watching them for over a year because of you and I am perfectly alright.”

Selina rebuked and made a funny face at Zara which increased her anger.

“You are that unlucky person who can’t see the real world.”

Zara spoke with indifference and started humming to the song while drifting into her fantasy world.

Selina rolled her eyes at the crazy girl and stood up to leave.

It’s hard to talk to Zara when it comes to LTW.

She really wish to kill all the members of the band, no, she should kill that one person with the dark hair who made this girl a living clown with drool all over her face.

“Enough! Go to sleep. Tomorrow you have to submit the assignment. Remember?” Selina took the remote from her and ordered her to go to her room and wanted to call it a night but Zara is unwilling.

“I will sleep after watching two more songs.”

She pleaded and snatched back the remote before pushing Selina out of the living room and enjoyed the music, ignoring her curses.

Selina didn’t have a clue about her obsession with the pop band.

They literally changed her life with their songs.

She got to know about the boys when she was fifteen.

It’s her sister who forced her to listen to their music in the beginning, later she got obsessed with them just like Jenna.

LTW encourage people to achieve their dreams and goals, not to fear the world and face the reality, fight for their future, never give up, never back down because of difficulties.

She learnt so much from them.

They motivates her and the world with their music.

Whenever she feels stressed, she listens to their songs which makes her feel relaxed.

They are like her another family.

A safe zone to protect herself.

After coming to abroad, she thought she couldn’t survive alone but she never gave up and struggled to have stable life with Selina’s help and she is happy now.

She sometimes feels that she made a wrong decision when she remembers her father’s words and always felt depressed, even their music couldn’t make her feel better.

At times like this, she would drive to her college which is located near the sea.

She loves beaches a lot, one of the reasons why she chose that university to study and will spend sometime at the shore to relieve her worries.

And sometimes listens to the music to make her mind relax.

Speaking of LTW, Jenna is a huge fan of Simon Reynolds, the visual of the band.

She too likes Simon but Sebastian Wild, the main dancer of the band, the one with dark hair captured her heart.

Somehow he got under her skin unbeknownst to her and her obsession increased to another level.

She is madly in love with him who doesn’t even know about her existence.

Selina is right, she’s crazy to fall in love with the man who is unreachable to her.

She’s pathetic.

Coming out of the trance, Zara paused the song and walked towards the screen and blew a kiss to Sebastian Wild who is smiling at her through the screen.

“Good night Bash” she whispered to him and switched off the TV before retreating to her room.

Bash is Sebastian’s nickname given by Zara because fans call him Sebasty but she wanted to be special when it comes to him so she chose Bash.

She didn’t know why but she really fell hard for this man.

A naïve love.

But reality always kicked her in the face because she can never be with him.

He is hers alone, only in her dreams.

Her one and only Bash and she fricking want him to be hers in real life.

But that’s only her fantasy.

She closed her eyes to sleep as tomorrow is a big day.

Not because of her assignment submission but she is going to fulfil one of her bucket list wishes.

‘We’ll meet soon Bash.’

……………………

“Hello sis. How are you doing?”

Zara spoke to her sister on the other side and hoped into the driver’s seat of her car with a drooped face.

“I am fine but Sean is becoming more and more naughty.” said Jenna cleaning the mess caused by her dear son.

Sean is thirteen months old now and is hyperactive.

No one can match his energy when it comes to playing games.

“Oh my poor sis.”

Zara laughed, imagining her sister’s irritated face while she’s cleaning the mess created by her super sweet nephew.

Some of the weight from her heart disappeared after talking to her sister.

At least their conversation helped her to forget about her loss.

“Are you done with the classes?”

“Yes!”

She answered while driving out of the college after plugging her ears with the earpods.

“Did you call mom?”

Jenna asked after dumping all the toys into the container and collapsed on the sofa.

Zara held the steering wheel tight as she remembered her call with their mom.

Her silence told Jenna everything she has to know and sighed rubbing her face.

“Did he talk to you?”

She asked to which Zara scoffed taking a turn.

“What do you think?”

“I am sorry Zara.”

Jenna apologized with guilt.

She was also one of the reasons for making their dad become more adamant and stubborn about not willing to send Zara to study abroad.

“Enough with this nonsense. How is my nephew?”

Zara changed the topic as she didn’t want to think about the past because she didn’t want her sister to feel bad about her actions.

Jenna is living the life she always wanted irrespective of what happened, so there is no point in dwelling about the past.

“He is fine. Oh hey! You are going to the concert right?” asked Jenna excitedly as she just remembered about the big thing.

Zara was on clouds when she called her a month ago to tell her that she is attending the LTW concert.

She never made it to their concert but now she is very excited for her baby sister.

Contrast to Jenna’s excitement, Zara’s face turned ashen as she thought about the concert.

“Selina cancelled the plan last minute. She is working overtime time.” said Zara frustrated.

She was overwhelmed with happiness and tried to leave college early to attend the concert but Selina called her at the nick of time to deliver the bad news.

Can anyone in this world be as unlucky as her?

“Oh my poor sis.”

Jenna said as she stifled her laughter which made Zara even more frustrated but she can’t blame anyone for her misery.

…………………..

Once home, Zara indulged herself with work to keep her mind away from the concert but Sebastian’s face popped up in front of her eyes from time to time.

With a heavy sigh, she closed her laptop and collapsed on the bed looking at the ceiling.

How she wished to go to the concert but Selina’s work spoiled everything.

She saved money to buy VIP tickets for the concert but she sold them to someone else as Selina’s boss assigned her with a new project and it demanded her to work overtime.

She had been preparing for the concert for six months but her efforts were in vain.

She did her laundry the day before and cleaned the house this morning and even planned to leave college early but Selina ruined their memorable night.

For god sake why didn’t anyone build a stadium close to her home so that she can attend the concert without worry.

She has to travel for two hours if she wants to see the boys.

If only Selina’s boss told her about the new project beforehand, she would’ve planned an alternative to attend the concert.

Scolding everyone who made her miss the chance to see her man Bash and the boys, Zara did her new assignment.

Tomorrow is the weekend and she didn’t have mood to work as she wants to brood over her loss, so she called the café manager to take a day off.

She told whatever lie that came to her mind as the café would bustle with people during weekends but she didn’t care.

Her wounded heart should be dealt with properly, otherwise she can’t continue to live.

After half an hour of persuasion, the manager finally agreed and she put aside her gadgets before making her way downstairs.

She checked the time and it’s close to midnight.

It’s over.

The concert is over long ago.

Whoever attended the concert must be very lucky otherwise why would they get the chance to see the boys.

Oh god!

Please help her overcome the heartbreak.

She descended the steps lazily and frowned thinking about Selina.

It’s midnight but still there is no sign of her.

Weird?

She sat on the couch and took the remote from the coffee table, planning to watch a horror film to distract her thoughts from Sebastian and called Selina to know about her whereabouts.

“Where are you?”

“I am on my way Zara. I am craving Spaghetti pesto and caramel milk shake. Can you get them for me please?”

Selina told her in one breath without giving Zara time to speak.

She just took out her mobile to call Zara but good heavens she called her as if she heard her prays.

Zara gritted her teeth and threw the remote on the couch, hearing Selina’s order.

“You dare to ask me buy you dinner when you made me miss the concert?”

She screamed through the speaker which made Selina put her phone far away from her ear and chuckled hard.

“I am really sorry Zara. I will definitely take you to their next concert.”

She promised sincerely but Zara scoffed, already climbing the steps to get her jacket to go out.

“They won’t perform here all the time you idiot.”

Selina switched off her system and packed her stuff, getting ready to leave the office and held the phone between her shoulder and ear.

“Even if they perform in hell. I will take you there. Happy?”

She promised again and headed towards the elevator, eager to get back home.

“Say that again. I want to record your words.”

Zara said and started recording their conversation.

Selina sighed and obliged her and said the words she demanded.

“Happy!! Now please buy me dinner. I am starving.”

She said, getting into the elevator and heaved a sigh when Zara agreed to her request.

Such a sweet girl she is.

“Roger that.”

Zara put on some extra clothes as it is cold outside and stuffed her pockets with cash before heading out.

The restaurant is just ten minutes walk from her home and serves 24/7.

Selina once worked there as a waitress, so she’s familiar with the place and the people working there.
