He quietly felt the astonishing energy within his body, then murmured:

“From today onward, this will be my ultimate trump card.”

This Supreme Chest had given Blake his strongest trump card yet.Full novel: Hogwarts: Driving Hermione Crazy, Looting Legendary Treasures! — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The morning sunlight streamed in through the window, something that should have made the room feel warm and comfortable.

Yet Blake felt that today’s heat seemed to be a little too much.

He slowly opened his eyes and quickly discovered the reason.

A fairly large, fiery-red bird was sitting snugly beside him on the bed.

“Are you… Fawkes?!”

Blake instantly woke up completely.

After obtaining Ancient Magic last night, he had been excited for a long time before finally falling asleep.

He never expected that the first thing he would see upon waking today would actually be the phoenix Fawkes.

Could Dumbledore have come too?

Blake immediately scanned the entire cramped room, but there was no sign of Dumbledore in the old chair.

Fawkes, on the other hand, seemed extremely happy.

It chirped at him several times before lowering its head, pulling a letter out from beneath the pillow, and pushing it in front of him with its claw.

“You came here specifically to deliver someone’s letter?”

Only then did Blake understand its purpose.

Fortunately, he had locked all the doors and windows tightly the night before.

A phoenix could enter the room directly using its own abilities, but ordinary people could not.

Otherwise, if Mrs.

Marianne saw Fawkes, Blake had no idea how he would explain it.

He couldn’t exactly tell her that this was just a Scottish chicken with slightly redder feathers, a somewhat rounder face, and a slightly chubbier body, could he?

Fawkes kept urging him on, so Blake had no choice but to open the envelope and carefully read its contents.

The distinctive handwriting, with circles nested inside circles, indeed belonged to Dumbledore.

Dumbledore merely wanted to borrow an item temporarily.

After reading it, Blake took the name tag hanging around his neck.

The metal tag, now completely restored, reflected a faint gleam in the morning sunlight.

Fawkes gently tapped his shoulder with her wing and let out two affectionate cries before taking the name tag into her beak.

In the next instant, flames suddenly blazed up, and its figure disappeared along with them.

Blake stared at the flames that had yet to completely fade, realizing that Dumbledore had most likely discovered some clues and therefore needed to borrow the name tag to confirm them further.

However, only one night had passed, so he wasn’t in any hurry to learn the result.

After Fawkes left, the heat in the room seemed to drop considerably.

Blake pushed open the window and the door.

Seeing that it was still very early, he excitedly ran toward the kitchen.

…

Dumbledore took the name tag from Fawkes’s beak.

At this moment, his desk was already covered with all kinds of strange-looking instruments.

Most of the equipment was related to alchemical testing.

He placed the name tag in the center of the desk and immediately began carrying out a complicated and labor-intensive examination.

…

“Caw! Caw!”

Mrs.

Granger helplessly looked at the cage in her daughter’s hands.

Inside was an energetic owl.

Not only was its cry noisy, but it also carried an indescribable smell that left her at a loss for words.

For some reason, Hermione had insisted on going to Diagon Alley again first thing that morning.

She had also insisted that she absolutely had to buy an owl capable of delivering letters.

When her parents asked who she intended to write to, Hermione merely explained that there were some questions she couldn’t figure out and that she wanted to ask a professor for guidance through letters. This chapter is updated first at novelping . com.

Mr.

Granger had always doted on his daughter, so he could only accompany her back to Diagon Alley first thing in the morning and buy the owl for her.

The moment Hermione stepped through the front door, she didn’t even bother changing her shoes.

She ran barefoot all the way back to her bedroom.

She took out the two letters she had written in advance and handed them directly to the newly purchased owl, which hadn’t even been given a name yet.

“Take the first letter to Professor McGonagall, then deliver the other one to Blake!”

Hermione had already carefully planned the route.

Professor McGonagall was at the school, so Hogwarts’s owls could handle delivering the reply.

Blake, however, didn’t have a bird specifically for receiving and sending letters.

Therefore, this owl had to stay there until Blake finished writing his reply, then bring it back to the Grangers’ home on the return trip.

“Caw! Caw!”

The owl probably hadn’t expected that immediately after being bought by its new owner, it would already have to start working.

However, it had been confined to its cage for quite some time, so going out to deliver letters was a perfect opportunity to stretch its wings.

Hermione stood by the window, watching as the owl flew farther and farther away until it eventually became a tiny black dot on the horizon.

Her thoughts also returned to the previous night.

After saying goodbye to Blake and Dumbledore, she returned to her bedroom and immediately tried practicing Transfiguration.

After personally witnessing Blake use Transfiguration to deal with the Hidebehind, she had developed the urge to try it herself.

Blake hadn’t even known what magic was before, treating the power inside his body as some kind of special ability, yet he could still use Transfiguration with such proficiency.
