Just like in the original story, Hermione offered to help Neville look for Trevor, except this time Fel joined them as well.

Neville headed toward the rear of the train, and since their compartment was not far from the last carriage, one person was enough.

Hermione and Fel searched toward the front of the train.Full novel: Hogwarts: Hermione Is My Girlfriend — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

When Fel spotted a red haired boy and a black haired boy sitting together surrounded by piles of snacks, he knew the main characters had appeared.

Harry and Ron looked much the same as they did in the movie, and Ron was holding his wand, preparing to try the fake spell his brother had taught him.

After asking about Trevor’s whereabouts, Hermione noticed Ron getting ready to cast a spell.

She had been feeling rather smug just moments ago, so naturally she wanted to see someone else’s spellcasting.

To be honest, the only spells she had ever seen were those cast by herself and Fel, and because Fel had practiced constantly, he was much better than she was.

Ron cleared his throat, clearly intending to show off a little in front of his friend and the girl, then waved his wand at his pet rat Scabbers, which was sitting on his lap.

“Sunshine, daisies, butter mellow, turn this stupid fat rat yellow!”

Fel almost burst out laughing.

It was obvious Ron had not even opened his spellbook.

A spell like that did not follow any proper spellcasting standard, and anyone could tell it was fake.

Even if the spell had been real…

Fel glanced at Scabbers.

It still would not have worked.

Because that rat was actually a human!

He had no intention of exposing Scabbers’ identity anytime soon, especially not now.

Not only would it be of no help to the first and second year storyline, but it would also create unnecessary danger.

Do not be fooled by Peter Pettigrew’s ridiculous performance in the movies.

He was a powerful Death Eater who had once blown up an entire street and killed more than a dozen Muggles.

Ron naturally failed miserably in his attempt to show off, and Hermione’s confidence immediately soared even higher.

After all, she was still just a little girl, and she also wanted to show off a little.

She sat opposite Harry and pointed her wand at his glasses, making Harry suddenly feel a little nervous.

“Oculus Reparo!”

Beginners needed to say the name of the object before the Repairing Charm.

Once they became skilled enough, they could leave it out.

In fact, many spells worked that way.

Harry removed his newly repaired glasses and examined them.

His mouth hung wide open.

He had clearly never imagined that such convenient and amazing magic existed.

As he took off his glasses, the lightning shaped scar on his forehead was revealed, and now it was Hermione’s turn to stare with her mouth open.

“My goodness, you’re Harry Potter! I’m Hermione Granger. And you?”

Hermione introduced herself while giving Ron a somewhat disdainful glance.

Ron wore untidy clothes, ate in a wild manner, and even had a streak of dirt across his nose, making him seem rather unreliable.

“Ron Weasley.”

Ron mumbled through a mouthful of snacks.

Fel did not actually dislike Ron. This chapter was taken from g.com without permission.

He was simply an ordinary young wizard, and his performance was already considered quite good among children his age.

That was, of course, as long as he did not pick on Hermione.

So Fel sat beside Hermione and introduced himself as well.

After chatting for a while, Harry noticed that Fel seemed interested in the magical snacks, so he invited both of them to help themselves.

Having money really did let you do whatever you wanted.

Fel thanked him, though he was not being greedy.

He was simply curious, so he only picked up a box of Chocolate Frogs.

As soon as he opened the box, a Chocolate Frog leaped out.

Fel reacted instantly and caught the Chocolate Frog in midair.

Since Mr.

Granger was a dentist, he paid special attention to the children’s dental health and did not allow them to eat too many sweets.

Hermione, however, liked them quite a bit.

Fel pulled off both of the Chocolate Frog’s legs and popped them into his mouth.

It tasted pleasantly sweet.

This was probably one of the most normal snacks in the magical world.

He handed the rest of the Chocolate Frog to Hermione and took out the collectible card included in the box.

Just like collecting cards from snack packs, young wizards were equally enthusiastic about collecting these cards.

[Godric Gryffindor. One of the founders of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and the founder of Gryffindor House. Gryffindor was the greatest duelist of his era.]

“Cool! One of the Four Founders is a rare card! I already have Gryffindor and the other founders. The only one I’m missing is Slytherin.”

Ron exclaimed in surprise.

Remembering that they still had to find Trevor, Hermione stood up to say goodbye.

Before leaving, she reminded the two boys to change into their school robes and pointed out the streak of dirt on Ron’s nose.

However, the childish Ron felt that Hermione was simply arrogant and looking down on him.

It was really just a misunderstanding.

On one hand, Hermione had become a little full of herself after her recent successes.

On the other hand, as the youngest son of the Weasley family, Ron had grown up with a sensitive and insecure personality.

Fel, however, was perfectly happy to let things develop this way.

The moment he stepped out of the compartment, the corner of his eye caught sight of a toad resting on the luggage rack above them.

‘No wonder they couldn’t find it in the original story.

It really picked an unusual hiding place!’

Fel took out his wand, pointed it at the character card in his hand, and chanted, “Wingardium Leviosa!”

The Levitation Charm could not be used directly on living creatures, or at least the version Fel had learned from The Standard Book of Spells, Grade 1 could not.

With practiced control, he made the card float into the air and guided it upward until it gently nudged Trevor off the luggage rack.

Smack!

Fel instantly reached out and caught Trevor.

Hermione was rather disgusted by toads, so she let Fel carry Trevor the whole time.

On the way back, she sighed.

“Your reflexes have always been so fast. Your athletic ability really is impressive.”

“But why would anyone keep a toad as a pet?”

“And owls can deliver mail.”

“The truly useless pets are probably cats.”

“Cats are cute, and that’s enough. I’m definitely getting a cat in the future!”

Hermione protested.

“Of course. I don’t like toads either.”

“As for owls, the school already has shared ones.”

“Even if we buy one in the future, we can just share it.”

Fel nodded.

After putting away the character card, they returned to their compartment.

Neville had already come back, and his red eyes showed he had obviously been crying.

Fel handed Trevor over to him.

Neville immediately lit up with joy and repeatedly thanked the two of them.

If there had been an affection meter, Fel estimated that Neville’s favorability would have risen to at least sixty.

…

“Woooo!”

The train whistle sounded.

They were about to arrive!

By then it was already dark outside.

Fel looked at the mechanical watch on his wrist.

It was already seven o’clock.

Hermione had learned from Hogwarts: A History that electronic devices would stop working within the grounds of Hogwarts.

That was why Fel had deliberately spent his allowance on a mechanical watch to tell the time.

It had to be wound every day.

As the Hogwarts Express came to a stop, Fel and Hermione held hands and stepped off the crowded train.

Earlier, they had been informed that there was no need to bring their luggage because someone would deliver it to the school and their dormitories.

Fel guessed it was the house elves.

Transporting luggage was very convenient for them.

Apparition was impossible within Hogwarts, but house elves could still do it.

Before them lay a village with a strong medieval atmosphere.

A sign reading Hogsmeade Station stood beside the wall, and street lamps lined the road.

“First years! Over here!”

A booming voice rang out like a great bell.

Fel turned around and saw a little giant over three meters tall, as if two people had been stacked on top of each other.

He was broad and heavily built, carrying a lantern in one hand.

He wore an old green overcoat, his face looked kind and simple, and his thick hair and beard blended together like a small forest.

Yet because of his enormous size, simply standing before him was enough to make people feel intimidated.

Rubeus Hagrid, Keeper of the Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts.
