Although it was an astral form, Anton’s punch contained the very essence of boxing.
The dark wizard who had chased after him was completely unprepared and took the punch squarely to the forehead.
His head jerked backward, and he was dazed for a long while.
After quite some time, the dark wizard finally saw Strange standing before him.
He immediately separated his soul from his body and transformed into an astral form as well, engaging Strange in battle.
The two fought fiercely, neither able to gain the upper hand.
In a moment of desperation, Strange grabbed the defibrillator beside him.
He aimed it at the dark wizard’s astral form and discharged it at full power.
In an instant, the astral form was electrocuted into a charred mass.
At the same time, Christine activated the defibrillator on the other side, and Strange’s soul returned to his body.
He sat up from the hospital bed.
Seeing that Strange was safe, Christine was initially overjoyed.
But she immediately returned to her usual expression, her tone carrying a hint of reproach.
“Stephen! Where have you been all these days?”
“How are your hands? And why were those strange people chasing you?”
Strange slowly sat up.
“Where should I start? I went to the Dragon Kingdom, to the summit of a snowy mountain.”
“I met a great sorcerer there, and she taught me true magic.”
Faced with such an unbelievable story, Christine’s eyes widened.
“You?”
“Have you been drinking?”
Strange took a deep breath and stepped down from the hospital bed.
The magical cloak draped itself elegantly over his shoulders.
“Sorry. I have something more urgent to deal with now.”
Christine naturally wasn’t willing to let him leave.
“Your injuries haven’t completely healed. And you still need rehabilitation!”
“You!”
“They should have already started attacking Kamar-Taj. I need to get there through a portal.”
Christine froze again.
“A portal? What portal?”
She followed Strange into a storage room filled with piles of miscellaneous objects.
Strange skillfully drew a circle.
Magic cut the space before them into a circular opening.
At its center was the Sanctum that had come under attack.
Christine was completely stunned.
She couldn’t understand the scene before her at all.
Strange waved goodbye to her, then calmly stepped through the portal.
The portal disappeared immediately, leaving nothing behind in the room.
Everything had happened in an instant.
Christine staggered and nearly collapsed.

[Newt: This is exactly why the Ministry of Magic repeatedly warns everyone not to reveal magic in front of Muggles.]
[Newt: Their ability to accept extraordinary things is simply too limited.]
[Dumbledore: That isn’t the only reason the girl nearly fainted. It’s also because she was worried about the person she loves.]
[Grindelwald: Well said. I’ve experienced that kind of concern myself.]
[Grindelwald: That was when I had just been expelled from Durmstrang.]
[Hermione: ….]
[Harry: It looks like a huge battle is about to happen. Is this battle what eventually led to Anton becoming the Supreme Sorcerer?]
[Ron: I’m only worried about that monster. Those two terrifying eyes are horrifying. I’ll have nightmares about them.]
Inside the Sanctum, there was no one left.
Strange, still wearing his cloak, walked across the carpet, searching for traces of the dark wizards.
When he raised his head, he came face-to-face with Master Mordo, who had arrived as reinforcements.
“Strange?”
“I’m fine.”
Ancient One asked from behind him,
“Where is Kaecilius?”
“He escaped.”
Ancient One nodded.
“The cracks between worlds are being opened by them. Those dark entities have strengthened their power.”
“The fact that you’re unharmed is already fortunate.”
“Now, only the New York and Hong Kong Sanctums remain to resist the Dark Dimension.”
At this point, Ancient One changed the subject.
“The London Sanctum needs a sorcerer.”
“And you bravely resisted the invasion of the dark sorcerers.”
“You have rendered great service.”
“Sorcerer Strange, I appoint you as the guardian of the London Sanctum.”
Hearing this appointment, Master Mordo was astonished.
He hurriedly asked Ancient One,
“But Ancient One, Sorcerer Strange has only just begun learning magic.”
“His experience is still insufficient.”
Ancient One replied in a tone that allowed no disagreement,
“This is my decision.”
Mordo nodded.
“Understood.”
Strange raised his arm.
“Wait, Ancient One. I have one more question.”
“I’ve read the Book of Cagliostro. It contains records concerning Dark Magic.”
“Have you been using Dark Magic to maintain your life all this time?”
Upon hearing the accusation, Ancient One remained expressionless.
“How could that be?”
“No! Impossible!”
Strange said seriously,
“Please answer my question.”
Ancient One did not answer.
Instead, she calmly said,
“We don’t have time. Dormammu’s followers will return soon.”
With that, she turned and walked away.
Only the stunned Mordo and Strange remained.

[Harry: Look at her reaction. This Ancient One really has been using Dark Magic!]
[Snape: Potter, don’t make such a fuss. Magic differs only in strength. It has no inherent distinction between good and evil.]
[Snape: Besides, Kamar-Taj doesn’t have Aurors or laws like the ones governing the Unforgivable Curses.]
[McGonagall: Severus, I disagree with you on this. I think Anton is absolutely right.]
[McGonagall: The distinction between Light and Dark must be upheld. Those dark forms of magic can automatically influence a person’s mind and turn a kind wizard into a madman.]
[Voldemort: Foolish advice. A true wizard should use every possible means to increase their power! Otherwise, they’re nothing but weaklings and cowards.]
[Dumbledore: I warn you, Tom. Do not poison the children’s minds.]
[Dumbledore: Although Ancient One seems to have her reasons, if I were Anton, I would make the same choice.]
[Dumbledore: The distinction between different forms of magic must be upheld.]
Inside the Sanctum, Mordo held his head as he paced back and forth upstairs.
The sudden revelation had left him completely at a loss.
To him, Ancient One was the supreme existence, a true mentor and hero.
But even his own mentor used Dark Magic.
Then how was she any different from those dark sorcerers?!
The more Mordo thought about it, the more uneasy he became.
He turned and asked Strange,
“Sorcerer Strange, why… why are you so certain?”
Strange was just about to explain when the sound of a portal opening came from downstairs.
Kaecilius had arrived with even more fanatical followers.
Seeing Strange upstairs, the dark sorcerer didn’t waste a single word.
He channeled his magical energy with both hands.
A sphere filled with Dark Magic appeared in his grasp.
The power contained within it was far greater than before.
Having already been defeated by Strange once, he no longer dared underestimate him.
He viciously slammed the magical sphere onto the ground.
