“Everyone, get ready.

We’re about to reach Babylon Labs!”

Don’t lower your guard!”

Aboard the helicopter flying toward Babylon Labs, Theresa spoke with a stern expression to the members of the Snowwolf Squad.

However, given her cute face and petite stature, it was hard for anyone to take her small frame seriously, making the Snowwolf members struggle to hold back their grins.

“Don’t worry, Captain Theresa!

We’ll stay sharp!” Shigure Kira puffed out her chest with confidence.

The other Snowwolf Squad members chimed in as well.

Cheng Lixue and Salome were already actively keeping watch on the perimeter.

Naturally, none of them would slack off.

As Schicksal’s premier anti-Honkai elite squad, every single member was a battle-hardened veteran with countless Honkai Beast kills under their belt.

Years of fighting together had forged seamless teamwork among them.

The only problem was that the Snowwolf Squad still had no idea what kind of horrors were waiting for them.

BOOM!

Suddenly, a missile came out of nowhere and detonated near the helicopter!

The violent shockwave knocked the chopper off balance, nearly causing the pilot to lose control as the Snowwolf members tumbled over each other inside the cabin.

“Mayday!

We’re under missile attack!” the Schicksal pilot screamed.

“What?!

How is this happening?!” Everyone was stunned; they had never anticipated getting hit by surface-to-air missiles.

Before they could process it, several more missiles exploded in close proximity to the helicopter.

“We have to make an emergency landing now!” the pilot yelled again.

The Schicksal transport wasn’t equipped with weapons or flare countermeasures.

Yet, the incoming missiles were detonating around the chopper rather than hitting it head-on—clearly aiming to force them down rather than destroy them outright.

The Snowwolf Squad members could all tell what the enemy was doing, grit their teeth in frustration.

“Whoever’s pulling this crap, you better pray I don’t catch you!” Schubert, the fiery red-haired A-rank Valkyrie, snapped angrily.

The missile barrages wouldn’t actually kill them—at worst, they’d sustain minor scrapes or get covered in soot.

But the real issue was that none of them could fly; falling from thousands of feet in a crash would leave them severely injured.

Moments later, the helicopter carrying Theresa and the Snowwolf Squad was forced into a hard emergency landing on the snowy plains of Siberia.

Fuming with killing intent, every member of the Snowwolf Squad leaped out of the grounded helicopter, ready to beat whoever ambushed them to a bloody pulp.

“Where the hell are you?!

You had the guts to ambush us, but not the balls to show your face?!” Shubb shouted into the endless snowy wasteland.

“Stay alert,” Theresa whispered under her breath.

She and the rest of the Snow Wolf Squad were already on high alert, weapons drawn, ready for battle at a moment’s notice.

Yet after waiting in tense silence for what felt like forever, not a single soul answered.

“Our comms are jammed.

Who could be behind this?” Theresa murmured, completely baffled.

She tried contacting Schicksal HQ again and again, but every single channel was drowned in static, completely cutting them off from the outside world.

Cheng Lixue tightened her grip on the teal longsword in her hand.

Her eyes subtly scanned the vast, dead-silent snowfield around them.

Was it truly deserted?

And yet, an unsettling, faint sense of danger kept prickling at her skin.

“Is there really no one here?” Shigure Kira scratched her head.

Still, the rest of the Snow Wolf Squad refused to lower their guard.

Cheng Lixue could sense the danger lingering right beside them—and while the others might not fully get what was happening, nobody was about to ignore the instincts of Schicksal’s strongest A-rank Valkyrie!

“What a shame.”

“Pretty sharp instincts you girls got there.”

Out of thin air, an unknown maiden with silver hair and crimson eyes appeared right before the Snow Wolf Squad, clad in shiny silver armor like an ancient warrior.

In a split second, Theresa and the entire squad unleashed their attacks toward the mysterious girl.

Anyone showing up out of nowhere right now was definitely an enemy—maybe even the Second Herrscher herself!

Even if this supposed ‘Second Herrscher’ was wearing some bizarre armor, that wasn’t about to stop the Snow Wolf Squad from beating her down.

“Wow, no honor among warriors, huh?”

The mysterious girl didn’t give a damn about the incoming barrage.

She even pulled out a bag of marshmallows out of nowhere, casually popping them into her mouth right in front of the stunned Valkyries.

Against the relentless offensive of the Snow Wolf Squad, even an Emperor-class Honkai Beast would’ve been wiped out on the spot.

And yet…

“It…

it didn’t do anything?!”

Theresa’s eyes went wide as saucers.

She literally watched the spearhead of Oath of Judah pass right through the girl’s body like a phantom.

“How is that even possible?!”

The rest of the squad watched in sheer horror as their attacks passed harmlessly through her form, like cutting through water.

“I’ll give you girls ten seconds to surrender.

Otherwise, I’m gonna start attacking,” the girl said nonchalantly, chewing on her marshmallow.

“Ten.”

“Hmph!

No matter who you are, we will never—”

Shubb immediately braced for another attack, but before she could finish her sentence, four searing golden arrows of light materialized in an instant.

They pinned Shubb directly to the frozen ground, shattering her limbs before she could even register the pain.

The intense heat of the light arrows instantly cauterized her wounds, evaporating her blood before a single drop could spill onto the snow.

“Shubb!!!”

Seeing her best friend crushed, Salome panicked—only for a scorching golden spear to shoot out of nowhere.

Before Salome could even react, the blazing spear impaled her abdomen, the insane impact slamming her into the Siberian snowpack right next to Shubb.

The rest of the squad gasped, their pupils shrinking in terror.

Beside them, Shigure Kira and Patricia didn’t even get a chance to dodge.

Another blazing spear and four scorching light arrows pinned them both straight onto the snowfield.

“Man, zero challenge at all.”

A second girl with matching silver hair, crimson eyes, and identical armor materialized out of thin air onto the snowscape.

Without hesitation, she swiped the last marshmallow right out of her comrade’s hand.

“Hey!

That was mine!”

The whole thing had happened way too fast.

In the blink of an eye, the only ones left standing were Cheng Lixue and Theresa.

Invisibility?!

Only now did Cheng Lixue realize the truth—their attackers had been cloaked in invisibility, standing right beside them the entire time.

Grit teeth, Cheng Lixue raised her sword to strike back without hesitation.

But a blazing golden blade suddenly flashed right in front of her face, forcing her to swing up and block.

“Oh?

Nice weapon,” a third silver-haired, red-eyed girl slowly faded into view before Cheng Lixue, glancing at the teal sword with mild surprise.

“Too bad you kinda suck.”

In the next instant, the girl flashed her blade twice.

Both of Cheng Lixue’s arms were severed clean off.

“You monsters!” Theresa stared in absolute horror, her hands trembling as she clutched her weapon.

“Still not gonna surrender?”

“Never!”

No matter how overwhelming the enemy was, Theresa refused to back down.

The very next second, a golden spear pierced clean through her body, pinning her firmly to the Siberian tundra.

“Snap a quick picture.

Let’s send it to Schicksal as a little preview.”

Although Theresa and the Snow Wolf Squad looked bloody and battered, none of them were actually dead.

The Queen’s Imperial Guard possessed absurdly precise control—they ensured the Valkyries were crippled and knocked unconscious without taking a single life.

Of course, that didn’t stop them from snapping a gruesome photo of the defeated Squad to mail over to Schicksal HQ.

“I want ten bags of marshmallows for this!”

“Five bags, take it or leave it!”

“Deal!”

“Wait…

did I get ripped off?!”

The Imperial Guard maidens giggled and bickered amongst themselves like innocent teenage girls—if one conveniently ignored the bloody battlefield behind them, that is.

…

“Total wipeout.”

Ren wasn’t surprised at all that the Snow Wolf Squad and Theresa got instantly clapped the moment they made contact with Sirin’s Imperial Guard.

The gap between them was just way too massive.

At the end of the day, Theresa’s crew were still human, while every single Imperial Guard maiden was a hardened warrior who had slaughtered her way through the Imaginary Space for god-knows-how-long.
