At the top floor of Babylon Laboratory.
“Bella, time to break out of your shell.”
Sirin led the group to the location, gazing at the giant egg before her as she spoke softly.
Crack…
Crack…
The colossal egg, standing over 100 meters tall and spanning more than 80 meters wide, began to tremble violently.
Its shell cracked rapidly, disintegrating into pieces.
With a powerful push from Benares, the top of the egg shell shattered instantly.
A massive dragon head emerged from within, followed by gigantic dragon claws tearing through the remaining shell.
A pair of sky-blotting wings unfurled into the air without restraint.
“ROAAAR!!!”
Benares threw her head back and let out a resounding roar that vibrated across the entire horizon.
Now, Bella stood before Sirin once again, reborn with an entirely new appearance and majestic posture.
Her dragon form retained its deep blue hue as its primary color palette.
The white exoskeleton covering her body reflected a metallic luster.
The edges of her sky-blue claws and wing membranes shimmered with brilliant, dazzling golden light.
The purple patterns running along her back were reminiscent of the dragon-form markings of the Queen’s Imperial Guard, yet far more radiant and exquisitely refined.
Atop her dragon head sat ornate, gorgeous feather decorations woven from purple and gold.
More importantly, Bella’s body length spanned over 100 meters, with a wingspan exceeding 200 meters.
A behemoth of such terrifying scale, if unleashed before humanity, would strike sheer terror into their hearts without needing to lift a single claw.
Yet, this was far from the maximum limit of Bella’s dragon form!
“If that star were used entirely as Bella’s core, she’d probably grow much larger than the Sun itself,” Sirin pondered silently, estimating how massive Bella could truly become.
After all, the star she had manually forged inside the Imaginary Space was one-third the size of the Sun.
Of course, thinking about that now was still a bit premature.
Nevertheless, Sirin firmly believed that one day, Bella would grow to exceed the size of actual stars.
“My Queen!”
Bella reverted back into her human form and knelt on one knee before Sirin.
“Rise, Bella.
I believe I’ve told you before—don’t kneel.”
Sirin raised her hand, using gravitational force to gently lift Bella to her feet.
Ever since Theresa surrendered the 9th Divine Key, Star of Eden, and presented it to Sirin, Sirin’s understanding and mastery over gravity had deepened significantly.
“Understood,” Bella replied, lifting her head.
Bella’s current human appearance didn’t differ much from before, but there were still subtle changes.
All in all, Sirin couldn’t quite fathom why Bella’s pair of milky-white melons had grown noticeably bigger and plumper.
Sirin glanced back at the rest of her subordinates.
Bella was practically standing tall above all the ladies.
As for Sirin herself…
well, best not to bring that up.
“My Queen, is something wrong?” Bella asked, feeling somewhat puzzled.
The Queen’s gaze just now seemed filled with curiosity and surprise, mixed with a hint of satisfaction. Visit g.com for the full chapter.
The maidens of the Queen’s Imperial Guard were equally confused, though none of them voiced it aloud.
“It’s nothing!” Sirin blurted out hastily.
She could sense the silent questions lingering in her subordinates’ minds.
This kind of thing could never be spoken out loud!
Otherwise, her flawless image as their majestic Queen would be utterly ruined!
“Alright then!
Prepare to move house!”
“Yes, my Queen!”
Bella and the Queen’s Imperial Guard responded in unison.
“Huh?
Moving house?
Where are we moving to?” Cecilia asked, bewildered, quietly leaning over to whisper her question to one of the girls in the Queen’s Imperial Guard.
Cecilia, Theresa, and the rest had only been assimilated recently, so they weren’t really in the loop regarding Sirin’s grand design.
“You’ll find out real soon.”
The young girl giggled, keeping them in suspense without giving away the answer.
Then, Cecilia and Theresa watched in utter speechlessness as the Queen’s Imperial Guards immediately turned around and suited up in exoskeleton armors packed with all sorts of tools.
Pulling various equipment and raw materials straight out of Imaginary Space, they began hand-crafting a spaceship right inside the Babylon Laboratory.
Yeah, you heard that right—a spaceship.
Sirin’s plan from the very beginning was to head into space.
The Imperial Guards and Bella were essentially created to serve this vision: the former were tasked with ship construction and defense, while the latter served as the core power source driving the vessel.
In Imaginary Space, combat training actually accounted for only a tiny fraction of the Imperial Guard’s routine.
Most of the time, they were buried in the scientific research centers inside Imaginary Space.
In other words, every single Imperial Guard member was a legit scientist—the kind who could easily flex multiple Ph.D.s.
At the very start, after Sirin descended, the first thing she assimilated using Imaginary Space was Babylon Lab’s central mainframe.
Using it, Sirin quietly hacked into Schicksal’s database and gathered a treasure trove of data and files.
Once the Imperial Guards were created, Sirin sent them into Imaginary Space to hit the books, guiding them step-by-step through researching and testing spaceships capable of entering deep space.
Building a spaceship was infinitely harder than building an aircraft carrier.
It demanded the complete scientific and industrial apparatus of modern civilization—the true culmination and final achievement of human intellect.
However, inside Imaginary Space, Sirin and her Imperial Guard could literally spawn factories out of thin air.
Whatever resources they needed, they just manifested on the spot with zero resource consumption.
That was because items manifested in Imaginary Space held no physical reality there anyway; as long as the basic raw materials matched real-world physics, that was more than enough.
And Sirin could guarantee these objects retained their existence without fading away.
Starting from ground zero, the Imperial Guards walked through every milestone of human technological and industrial development.
It was safe to say their heads carried the sum total of an entire civilization’s knowledge.
No ordinary human could accomplish such a feat, nor could anyone memorize all that data, but the Imperial Guards remembered every single detail crystal clear.
Inside Imaginary Space, they completed the launch of their 1st spaceship, all the way up to their 22nd ship smoothly navigating deep space.
So, despite this being their first time building a spaceship in real space, their hands moved with absurd precision and expertise.
The materials and machinery needed for construction consumed the Honkai Energy provided by Sirin, pulled straight from warehouses inside Imaginary Space.
Compared to the massive energy cost of projecting an Imaginary Star into real space, the Honkai Energy required for these materials was practically pocket change.
And the final result?
The entire Babylon Laboratory had been completely retrofitted into a full-scale launch complex.
“All set for launch?”
Sirin asked, clad in a magnificent purple-and-white gown, sitting on her ornate throne with a grin of excitement.
She had straight-up relocated the entire luxurious hall from the 22nd floor of Babylon Lab onto the ship.
At the absolute tip of the vessel sat her splendid throne, woven from amethyst and gold.
At the same time, Sirin herself was the ship’s engine—or as one might call it, a human spatial jump drive.
Space travel wasn’t entirely new to Sirin, but this was indeed her first actual voyage through the cosmos.
“Yes!
My Queen!”
Bella and Cecilia led the Imperial Guards, standing in formation before Sirin as they shouted in unison.
Cecilia was currently serving as the Commander of the Imperial Guard’s 2nd Company.
Her combat talent was extraordinary.
After mastering the abilities of an Imaginary Space lifeform, she had fought her way up through the ranks in Imaginary Space all the way to 2nd Company Commander.
Because of this, the 2nd Company led by Cecilia could stand right alongside Bella’s 1st Company, guarding their Queen together.
With all preparations complete, Sirin issued the final order to launch.
“Engage!”
The spaceship’s thrusters roared to life, and overwhelming propulsive force drove the conical vessel straight through the heavens, soaring out into the cosmos.
Since Sirin and the Imperial Guards didn’t need to breathe at all, nor did they care about the harsh vacuum of space, large sections of the spaceship weren’t even enclosed.
However, the Star of Eden placed on Sirin’s throne deflected all the atmospheric drag ahead of the vessel—and not just air, but even cosmic rays were bent away by the gravitational pull of the Star of Eden.
When the dark, profound expanse of deep space opened up before Sirin’s eyes, an overwhelming sense of tranquility washed over her.
Compared to the vast cosmos, the Moon, Earth, and even the Sun seemed so minuscule.
“My Queen, what should we name this ship?”
Cecilia asked on a sudden whim.
It seemed they hadn’t officially named the spaceship yet?
The Imperial Guard girls looked at each other, realizing they had completely overlooked naming it too.
Well, technical project designations existed, but since this was the Queen’s personal flagship, calling it something plain like “Spaceship No.
1” or “No.
2” definitely wouldn’t do it justice.
Sirin pondered for a moment.
The spaceship had been constructed in a conical shape, looking like a giant spearhead.
That was mainly because Sirin acted as the human spatial jump drive and needed a visual point to guide spatial jumps.
Plus, she really enjoyed taking in the scenery, so it naturally took on the shape of a spearhead.
Suddenly, a name popped into Sirin’s head that felt utterly perfect.
“Let’s call it…
the Lance of the Void.”
…
“Heh, now that’s a proper Lance of the Void.
That blowfish in canon only knew how to chuck spears in a fistfight.”
Ren was extremely pleased with his masterpiece.
Will Sirin end up manifesting here just like me?
Bronya pondered silently, feeling in no hurry at all.
