Yuji laughed mockingly.
He brought his hands together, switching the weapon into bow mode, and fired three flame-coated arrows that sealed off the Herrscher’s escape routes.

“Yu! No! Get out of the way!”
Elysia noticed something was wrong and shouted at Yuji.
“…Too late.”
Lightning flashed across Yuji’s body and cut him cleanly in half from the middle.
Yuji, his face covered in blood, looked up at the sky and could not help sighing.
“Heh… I couldn’t even force the great Herrscher… to use her full power. Sorry about that. I will probably… remember this moment… forever.”

The Herrscher saw that Yuji had been cut in half and stopped attacking.
