Actual Fifteenth
“…Seiya, join Anti-Entropy.
We have lots of benefits.”
Welt Yang shamelessly began his sales pitch.
Seiya stared in disbelief.
He was getting entangled with Anti-Entropy now!?
His eyes blazed with determination, though.
Out of all three organizations—World Serpent, Schicksal, and Anti-Entropy—this one was probably the most humane and safest to join.
In this world of Honkai, not being part of a major organization was basically a death sentence.
Not to mention, going about it this way might make him more acquainted with Raiden Ryoma and, therefore, Mei!
And Mei meant Kiana!
Uwah!
Even in his previous life, he had been utterly transfixed and enraptured by the white-haired tuna.
Not romantically, mind you.
He considered it a bit…
uncomfortable to actually fall in love with a fictional character.
Even now, that was out of the question, since she’d end up being so much younger than him.
Hmm…
Or maybe not?
Since the Gem of Serenity granted significant control over biological phenomena, it could definitely stop his aging.
And Kiana was a clone anyway!
Aging was wack with her!
He pressed a hand to his chest.
The integration of the Gem was…
surprisingly painless!
Anyways, he would cross the Kiana bridge when he came to it.
Emotions such as love weren’t something to be dictated by prior planning, after all.
Maybe he’d fall in love with someone else before that?
He was fairly certain the painless integration was courtesy of Sirin.
His overpowered Four-Core Herrscher was now looking up at him with a proud puff of her chest.
Seiya’s eyes softened.
He smushed her cheek and patted her head.
Sirin, instead of being annoyed like most siblings, immediately preened at the attention and clung to her brother’s arm, delighted by the affection.
She had missed him dearly.
The Will of Honkai had explained the abilities of the Gems to her, as well as the long war between humanity and the Honkai, alongside details regarding the Previous Era.
The thing she had focused on was the Gem of Serenity.
Complete biological domination surely meant aging as well!
Her brother would remain around forever with her.
As immortal as she was.
Seiya’s attention returned to Welt Yang, who was still passionately making his case.
Joining Anti-Entropy was already a given.
The real question now was how many benefits he could squeeze out of Welt without looking too eager.
Little did he know that Welt was already planning to shower him with every advantage possible.
A person such as Seiya could be trusted as his successor.
Perhaps even more.
“…Mr.
Welt—”
Welt immediately stopped his sales pitch and dismissively waved a hand.
“Just Welt is fine.”
Seiya’s eye twitched.
“The fact of the matter is…
I’d be perfectly willing to join Anti-Entropy.
Along with Sirin, of course.”
Welt blinked.
That easy?
“…Provided the benefits you can extend to us, of course.”
Ah.
That made more sense.
Rather than being displeased, Welt found himself appreciating the lack of naivety.
If anything, it reassured him.
“Of course.
I would be happy to provide you with the rank of Anti-Entropy Enforcer.
You may bring anyone under your command that you wish.”
“And Sirin?”
“Rest assured, no inhumane experiments will be conducted on her while she is there.
If it helps, you may be present whenever Dr.
Tesla and Dr.
Einstein conduct their tests.”
Seiya’s shoulders visibly relaxed.
A beautiful smile spread across his face.
Enhanced further by the rejuvenating effects of the Gem of Serenity, he now looked even younger.
A gorgeous, androgynous seventeen-year-old.
Sirin, who had visibly stiffened at the word experiments, also relaxed completely.
If Seiya was present, everything would be fine.
Of course it would.
Then Sirin voiced her own condition.
“I’ll answer to no one except my brother.
Not even you, old man.”
Welt reluctantly nodded.
That condition was harder to swallow.
Still, if Seiya truly became his successor, then Sirin could ultimately be influenced through him.
Besides…
Seiya would work for humanity’s benefit regardless.
That was the important part.
Factions be damned.
Conservative.
Loyalist.
Progressive.
His successor would stand above all three.
“I hope Seiya will work with us wonderfully in the future, for the betterment of humanity.”
Seiya extended a hand.
Welt smiled pleasantly and accepted the handshake.
He had not yet extended the invitation to inherit the Star of Eden, as Welt Joyce once had for him.
There was no need to rush.
The First Eruption had been chaotic.
This time, they could take things slowly.
Welt shook his hand.
“Welcome to Anti-Entro—”
A thunderous boom interrupted him.
A pillar of flames erupted from the ground.
Black flowers rapidly bloomed outward.
Dragon [Seiya] immediately readied herself for battle, baring her fangs as they scraped together with a metallic grind.
Welt subtly raised the Star of Eden.
Sirin floated upward slightly, positioning herself between Seiya and the waves of heat.
The flames parted.
A young maiden emerged.
Striking.
Her appearance featured a mix of brilliant white and vibrant crimson hair, intense red eyes, and majestic fiery wings.
Beside her stood a taller, motherly woman wielding a lance.
Tiny cracks spread along the edges of her skin while her white hair danced within the fiery winds.
A form-fitting black battlesuit accentuated her curvaceous figure, stretched to its absolute limits.
Seiya recognized them instantly.
Then breathed a sigh of relief.
Fu Hua wasn’t using her Garuda form yet.
She was merely drawing upon the full power of Fenghuang Down.
Then his gaze landed on the second woman.
Stars appeared in his eyes.
Uwah.
It was the Cecilia Schariac!
Oh my god!
Even cooler in person!
Seiya was enamoured.
Sirin’s eyes narrowed at one of them.
Her eyes zooming into Cecilia’s modestly covered, yet undoubtedly well-endowed figure.
She muttered darkly.
“Shameless tramp..stealing all of brother’s attention…’
Yet confusion filled them at the sight of the other.
Fu Hua and Cecilia Schariac had arrived on the battlefield.
