“Gentlemen, outsiders,” Oleg’s gaze slowly swept over Danheng, March 7th, and Xing.
His smile remained calm, but his words precisely revealed their identities.
“Or, more precisely, visitors from beyond the heavens?”
He paused, then continued, “I’d like to speak with you.”
Danheng’s gaze met Oleg’s.
He could clearly sense a composure emanating from this middle-aged man, unlike that of ordinary townspeople—a quality possessed only by those who had long held positions of power, weathered storms, and wielded considerable influence.
This man was likely the leader of some important organization here.
“You,” Danheng took a half-step forward, subtly shielding March 7th and Xing behind him, his voice calm and distant.
“What is your purpose?”
Oleg was unfazed by Danheng’s wariness; rather, it earned his approval.
He cut to the chase, his tone sincere.
“We, the Earthfire—and the entire Underworld—need your help.”
“Earthfire?” March 7th repeated curiously.
“Help?” Danheng frowned slightly.
“Why do you think we, newcomers from outer space, would necessarily help you?”
Oleg didn’t answer immediately.
He turned slightly, his gaze seemingly piercing through the bustling crowd of the Fight Club, looking deeper, colder, and more desperate into the lower levels.
Then he turned back to Danheng, his voice low but carrying a strange certainty.
“Because someone told us…”
He paused deliberately, his gaze sweeping over the three of them before slowly uttering a title that had spread throughout the universe and carried the weight of destiny.
“Several Nameless guests from outer space, who have liberated and saved countless worlds on the verge of despair, have arrived in the Underworld.”
“…!”
Danheng’s pupils contracted almost imperceptibly.
This title, and the level of knowledge revealed by Oleg’s words, far exceeded his expectations.
Who was it?
Was it the mysterious Celine?
…
After bringing March 7th and Xing to the Fight Club, Celine returned to the clinic.
Standing at the door of the consultation room, she looked at Natasha, who was organizing medicine, and spoke calmly.
“Natasha.”
Natasha looked up at the sound of her voice, saw Celine, and smiled gently.
“Sister Celine, you’re back. Those…”
“Those three people,” Celine interrupted in a matter-of-fact tone, “are Belobog’s hope.”
Natasha paused, her hands stopping mid-motion.
A hint of surprise flashed across her face, but even more than that, there was the look of someone whose suspicions had just been confirmed.
She had long believed those “visitors from beyond the heavens” were anything but ordinary, but hearing the words “Belobog’s hope” from Celine carried an entirely different weight.
Celine didn’t explain further.
Instead, she continued, “Have the people from Earthfire contact them.”
“I’m already doing that,” Natasha replied.
“Good. Very good.” Celine nodded.
“Next, take them to Schwarzkopf.”
After saying that, Celine left.
(Player’s perspective. I haven’t written from the player’s perspective for several chapters. Do you guys still remember this is a gacha story?)
In the real world, in Black Cat’s livestream.
In the game, Black Cat controlled the newly awakened protagonist, Star, as she left Natasha’s clinic.
After walking a few steps, she noticed March 7th standing not far away, seemingly talking to someone.
“Huh? Who’s that?” Black Cat moved her character closer and zoomed in, revealing the profile and signature purple hair of the person speaking with March 7th.
“The Belobog storyline changed too? A new NPC?”
“Holy crap! Sirin?!”
The livestream chat was instantly flooded with question marks.
“?????????”
“It’s our Sirin from Honkai Impact 3rd!”
“Yay! It’s Fugu! She’s in Belobog! Does that mean we’re about to get beaten up?”
“Pah! Don’t say something so unlucky! She’s family! She’s my aunt!”
“The protagonist is so unreliable.
She doesn’t even recognize her own aunt.” Black Cat couldn’t help commenting as she watched Star circle around Celine in-game with a confused expression that practically said, “I feel like I’ve seen her somewhere before.”
She watched as Xing curiously tried to touch Celine’s joints but was stopped by March 7th.
While continuing to play, Black Cat analyzed the interaction.
“Still, Xing mentioned ‘a puppet similar to Herta,’ and Celine herself said she’s connected to Herta… Tsk, tsk. This web of relationships is getting more and more interesting.”
She cleared her throat and, in a deliberately mysterious tone, began her “lecture” into the microphone.
“Ahem, everyone. According to the ‘unofficial history’ I’ve gathered, this Trailblazer is actually the child of Herta and Kafka! Think about it. Who is Herta? A member of the Genius Society, mysterious and unpredictable. And Kafka? A Stellaron Hunter, equally mysterious and unpredictable. These two powerhouses joining forces to create a child with a sentient Stellaron… It makes perfect sense, doesn’t it?”
The chat exploded instantly.
“666, this unofficial history is absolutely insane!”
“You know what? I almost believed you…”
“Herta: Thanks for the invitation. I’m currently on the space station doing research. Please leave me out of this.”
“Kafka: Listen to me. You’re making things up.”
“And then,” Black Cat ignored the comments and continued her “deduction,” “after Herta and Kafka sent their child aboard the Astral Express, Herta, as the mother, naturally worried about her! But she couldn’t leave because of her research, so what did she do? She can make puppets, right? So she created an advanced puppet and secretly sent it aboard the train to protect her child! That puppet is Celine!”
“What are you even talking about?!” one viewer protested.
“Forget that! I just want to know when she’ll become playable! Her character model is amazing, so her strength must be top-tier too!”
“In terms of strength?” Black Cat spotted the comment and immediately steered the topic back on track, her tone exaggerated.
“Then we have to talk about our old Jing Yuan! Once the second half of the banner opens, as long as we pull Jing Yuan, we’ll finally get to experience Honkai Impact 3rd-level gameplay and stand tall! Simulated Universe, Forgotten Hall—we’ll dominate them all!”
“However,” she glanced at Celine, who stood quietly on the screen, before adding, “if Celine really becomes playable, then just based on her appearance, mysterious background, and aunt status alone… wouldn’t everyone pull for her like crazy? Strength is secondary! Looks and story are the real reasons people roll!”
“Alright, alright. Let’s stop worrying about future banners.” Black Cat controlled Star as she followed March 7th and Celine toward the Fight Club.
“Let’s clear the Underworld storyline first. Let’s see what surprises this aunt has in store for us, and while we’re at it… let’s go find our missing Cold-Faced Little Azure Dragon.”
