Xing slowly opened her eyes, her consciousness surfacing like a fish emerging from the deep sea.

Before her was a face filled with gentle concern.

“You… you are…” Xing’s voice was hoarse from just waking up, tinged with a hint of confusion.Full novel: Honkai Impact 3rd Kiana Was Dr — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“I forgot to introduce myself,” Selene blinked gently, a gesture that revealed a subtle, almost imperceptible liveliness beneath her gentle demeanor.

“I’m Selene, a logistics staff member aboard the Astral Express. We… this should be our second meeting.”

“Selene…

the second time?” A fleeting thought flashed through Xing’s mind: the “Sister Nie” March 7th had mentioned, and the self-destructing energy projection.

However, the moment that thought appeared, a sharp pain shot through her temple!

“Ugh!” Xing cried out in pain, instinctively clutching her forehead, her brows tightly furrowed.

“It looks like you haven’t fully recovered yet. That’s normal.” Selene’s voice remained calm.

She reached out and gently took Xing’s free hand, the one not covering her forehead.

Her palm was slightly cool, yet surprisingly soft to the touch.

“Come, look into my eyes.”

Xing endured the pain and obediently raised her head, looking into Selene’s eyes.

Subtle ripples seemed to appear deep within those azure eyes, like a pebble dropped into a tranquil lake.

Xing felt her vision blur for a brief moment before a cool, soothing sensation flowed into her mind through their joined hands, gently easing the throbbing pain.

When the cool sensation faded, her vision returned to normal, and the headache had miraculously disappeared.

“Huh? It doesn’t hurt anymore! That’s amazing!” Xing lowered her hand, her eyes widening in surprise as she looked at Selene.

“What did you do to me?”

“Just a little trick. Nothing to worry about,” Selene replied with a smile.

“Hmm… I see…” Xing nodded as if she understood.

Then, as though remembering something, she suddenly grabbed Selene’s hand tightly and introduced herself with great sincerity.

“Hello! I’m Xing! Um… I guess you could say… I’m a Stellaron that became a person?”

Selene couldn’t help but chuckle at the unusually formal introduction.

She gently raised her other hand and softly ruffled Xing’s slightly messy gray hair.

“Yes. Hello, Xing.”

“Hmm… beautiful big sister,” Xing said while enjoying the gentle touch.

“How are things now?”

“Just call me Selene.” Selene withdrew her hand and calmly explained, “After the Doomsday Beast was defeated, the Antimatter Legion completely retreated. Herta Space Station is basically safe again, and everyone is currently handling the aftermath.”

“Speaking of the Doomsday Beast…” Selene’s gentle gaze became slightly more serious.

“I want to thank you, Xing. Thank you for saving March.”

“Oh, you’re welcome!” Xing quickly waved her hands.

“March is my good friend!”

“Yes.” Selene nodded gently, her eyes softening.

“Even so, I still wanted to thank you. March… is a very important person to me.”

After a brief pause, she took out her phone from the storage pouch attached to the side of her wheelchair.

“Let’s add each other.”

“Okay!”

Xing immediately took out the phone she had received after waking up.

Looking at Selene’s username, Xing softly read it aloud.

“ChiZha Xinghai Yueyue Cat?”

“Hmm~”

Almost immediately, Xing’s phone vibrated.

A transfer notification appeared.

[Ding! You have received a transfer from “ChiZha Xinghai Yueyue Cat”: 10,000,000 Credits.]

Xing stared blankly at the long string of zeros.

“…Huh?”

Selene explained apologetically,

“I’m sorry. I don’t have anything else suitable as a thank-you gift right now, so I can only give you Credits.”

“Use these ten million for now.”

“If it isn’t enough, or if there’s anything else you need, just let me know.”

After a long silence…

Xing suddenly grabbed both of Selene’s hands before she could pull them away.

Her eyes sparkled brightly.

“Rich lady!”

“I’m hungry!”

“Feed me!”

Selene was clearly caught off guard by the sudden request.

A moment later, however, her gentle smile returned, carrying a trace of helpless amusement.

“Ah… you’re hungry.” Visit g.com for the full chapter.

“I asked March to buy some food.”

“She should be back soon…”

“Selene-nee! We’re back!”

Before she could finish speaking, March 7th’s energetic voice echoed through the room.

Carrying several bags of food, the pink-haired girl walked inside.

The moment she saw Xing sitting up, she hurried over.

“Huh? Xing, you’re awake!”

She carefully looked Xing up and down, her face filled with relief.

“You suddenly jumped in front of me to block the Doomsday Beast’s attack!”

“You scared us to death!”

“I’m so glad you’re okay!”

“March.”

Selene called softly.

“Yes! What is it, Selene-nee?”

“Let Xing eat first.”

Selene smiled gently as she gestured toward the bag in March 7th’s hand.

“She just said she’s hungry.”

“Got it!”

March 7th immediately took out a steaming lunchbox from one of the bags and handed it to Xing with both hands.

“Here!”

“Eat while it’s still hot!”

Xing looked at the lunchbox.

Then at Selene’s gentle smile.

Then at March 7th’s eager expression.

“Uh… actually, what I meant was…”

Grrrrr…

A loud growl suddenly came from Xing’s stomach.

“…”

Xing’s cheeks instantly turned bright red.

March 7th froze for a second before laughing.

“Hahaha!”

“I know, I know!”

“Hurry and eat!”

“This is the best meal the space station can make right now!”

Xing accepted the lunchbox.

She placed it on her lap and opened the lid.

Warm steam carrying the delicious aroma of food drifted upward.

The meal inside looked colorful and beautifully prepared.

“It smells amazing…”

Xing’s eyes immediately lit up.

Just as she reached for the utensils beside the lunchbox—

A spoonful of food was gently brought to her lips.

“…Mm?”

Almost instinctively, tempted by the delicious smell, Xing opened her mouth.

The warm food melted in her mouth.

She chewed happily.

Only then did she suddenly realize something.

…Wait.

I haven’t even picked up my spoon yet.

Who fed me?

She looked up in confusion.

Selene was smiling gently.

At some point, she had moved her wheelchair closer.

She was holding another set of utensils.

The spoon that had just fed Xing belonged to her.

Without saying anything, Selene scooped up another spoonful of food and gently held it toward Xing.

“I noticed you hadn’t moved.”

“I thought your hands might not have fully recovered yet.”

“So…” Get faster updates on g.com.

“I took the liberty of helping.”

“If you’d rather eat by yourself…”

“No!”

Xing’s brain instantly completed its calculation.

Feed herself?

Or…

Be fed by a beautiful and gentle older sister?

Was that even a difficult choice?

“My hands…”

“They’re still so weak!”

“I need you to feed me, Sister Selene!”

She immediately put on a pitiful expression, slightly furrowing her brows as she looked at Selene with hopeful gray-gold eyes that practically screamed,

“Please take care of me.”

For just a brief moment…

Selene’s smile became even gentler.

“Okay~”

she answered softly.

“Come on.”

“Open your mouth.”

“Ah~”

“Ah~”

Xing obediently accepted another spoonful of food.

Her cheeks puffed out like a happy hamster.

She couldn’t help thinking,

Being personally fed by such a beautiful big sister…

This is absolutely worth it!

Meanwhile…

Selene was thinking about something completely different.

“Hmm…”

“This feeding play should earn me a lot of popularity points.”

One happily enjoyed being fed.

The other happily enjoyed feeding her.

Both believed they were the winners.

Except for one person.

March 7th.

Ever since Selene had picked up the spoon and gently said, “Come on, open your mouth…”

She had completely frozen.

One hand rested on her hip.

Her mouth was slightly open.

She silently watched Selene feed Xing spoonful after spoonful.

She watched Xing happily enjoy every bite.

She watched Xing secretly glance at Selene with sparkling eyes.

Gradually…

A strange feeling began growing inside her.

Shock.

Jealousy.

And…

A faint sense of being robbed.

Finally—

When Xing happily accepted yet another spoonful—

March 7th could no longer endure it.

“Selene-nee!!!”

She suddenly shouted.

Her eyes widened.

One finger trembled as she pointed toward the two of them.

Her voice was filled with disbelief and grievance.

“You…”

“You’ve never even fed me before!!!”
