Even though the situation was bad, she smelled really nice…

No, no, this is not the time to be thinking about smells!

One Angel had her face pressed against Kiana’s thigh, but all thirty Angels were thinking furiously.Full novel: Honkai Impact 3rd: Opinions of The Herrscher of Dominance — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

It shouldn’t be a leak of my identity.

If it were, a large elite force would be here to hunt me down, not a rookie who hasn’t even been at St.

Freya for half a year!

So I cannot reveal any Herrscher-related abilities.

No clones can come to help.

I can’t flash into the Theater of Domination and escape either.

And I can’t die!

If I die, a Herrscher core will drop, and that would be absolute proof!

I’ll try to escape using only my physical abilities.

If Kiana is acting alone on her own initiative, getting away shouldn’t be too hard.

Come on, me!

You’re not the one being pinned down!

Easy for you to say!

Angel struggled to free her hands, but Kiana only gripped her wrists harder.

After half a minute of stalemate, Angel suddenly twisted her head to look behind Kiana, her face lighting up as if she had spotted an ally.

“You’re finally here!

Hit her in the head!”

“What!?”

Kiana was startled and whipped her head around.

And then a small sneaker rapidly expanded in her vision.

Thump!

With a backkick that showcased startling flexibility in her slender waist and thighs, Angel drove her foot with full force into Kiana’s face.

My body is human, but what’s controlling it is the Herrscher of Dominance!

I knew I could do it!

Angel was ecstatic.

Taking advantage of Kiana’s dazed state, she twisted her body violently, managed to roll the girl off her, and finally broke free of her grip.

“Oww!

That hurts!”

Kiana scrambled up, rubbing the shoe print on her face, and saw Angel already sprinting toward the alley entrance.

“Damn!

What kind of flexibility is that?

But don’t think you can run from me!”

Kiana gave chase, pulling a pistol from her coat as she ran.

Bang!

The bullet flew toward Angel’s right leg.

Schicksal standard-issue pistol rounds traveled faster than sound, but Angel’s inhuman instincts warned her of the threat.

Almost the moment the bullet left the barrel, Angel planted her foot against the wall and launched herself into the air, then kicked off the wall several more times in rapid succession, rising quickly until she had sent herself atop a building more than ten meters up.

(T/N: Faster than sound?

No sonic boom?)

Beautiful!

Perfect form!

Cut the crap and think of something!

She’s chasing again!

Angel scolded her other selves for their glib remarks while sprinting desperately across the rooftops.

As she reached the edge, without time to worry about her fear of heights, she leaped toward another roof with a seven or eight-meter drop between them.

Like a horse clearing a ravine, she made the jump and landed lightly.

Angel glanced back and saw the silver-haired girl in her school skirt, looking like a fairy descended from the skies, also leaping from the roof.

The only incongruous detail was the clear shoe print on her face.

“Pfft!”

Angel could not help but laugh, even as she pushed herself to keep running.

“You dare laugh!?”

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

Kiana raised her pistol in fury and fired three shots in rapid succession while midair, precisely aiming at Angel’s legs and body.

Kiana certainly loved beautiful girls.

Even without any untoward thoughts, she naturally extended extra leniency toward cute girls.

Under normal circumstances, she would never shoot a delicate, doll-like girl like Angel.

But after seeing that bloody scene in the alley, she could no longer see Angel as a normal pretty girl, but as a dangerous killer.

Angel glanced back, her keen senses tracking the bullets’ trajectories.

And so Kiana watched as the slender, tiny girl performed a graceful front flip like a dancer, dodging the bullets before landing steadily and continuing her breakneck sprint.

“Stop right there!

Halt!”

Only an idiot would stop!

Angel retorted silently, scanning the buildings ahead for any possible escape route.

Fortunately, no matter how weak the Herrscher of a Thousand might be, it was still a genuine Herrscher.

A single core was enough to strengthen a frail, delicate girl’s body to surpass the average Valkyrie’s level.

So even though Angel had no experience whatsoever, when it came to rooftop parkour, she still had a very high margin for error.

At this rate, I can shake her off!

Angel executed a beautiful somersault, dodging another volley of bullets from behind.

After vaulting across several more buildings, she crashed into a half-constructed development site.

“Are you a wild monkey or what!?”

The impetuous Kiana smashed through a stack of construction scaffolding and followed her inside.

She waved away the dust in front of her eyes, but Angel was nowhere to be seen.

“Up or down?”

Kiana ran to the stairwell.

Downstairs, she saw nothing.

Upstairs, she spotted a figure rapidly climbing.

“Don’t run!”

Kiana gave chase.

She tracked Angel all the way to the rooftop, pistol raised.

She searched the entire area with caution and speed, but found nothing.

“Did she jump down?

Or is she hiding on one of the lower floors?”

Kiana hurried to the edge and looked around below, but still saw no sign of Angel.

So she leaped onto the scaffolding attached to the building’s side and jumped down floor by floor, scanning each level with her own eyes.

…

While Kiana frantically searched the building, high above, on the construction crane suspended in the air, Angel hung by her hands from a steel plate just large enough to conceal her body, peeking down at Kiana’s figure.

“Phew…”

Angel let out a long breath.

Temporarily shaken off.

But this place is not safe to stay.

Don’t enter the theater yet.

I’m not sure if there are other eyes watching from elsewhere.

Right.

The theater is our most reliable life insurance right now.

Hiding it is top priority.

Then one of you come up with a better idea!

Just hang there.

If Kiana can’t find us, she’ll probably leave to search somewhere else.

Anyway, based on our understanding of her intelligence, she would never guess you’re hiding here!

Angel puffed out her cheeks in frustration.

Fortunately, her physical fitness was excellent.

Hanging there like this took almost no effort at all.

Angel felt she could last for days, so she resigned herself to this option.

Kiana soon reached the ground.

Naturally, her search turned up nothing.

She stood on the road, pistol in hand, arms crossed, tilting her head in confusion.

“No way?

She actually got away?

Which direction should I go next?

Huh…

that crane is really high up.

If I look from up there, maybe I can spot her!”

Kiana’s eyes lit up, and she immediately dashed toward the crane.

The Angels had forgotten one thing.

At this stage, Kiana was indeed a bit empty-headed.

But she was European.
