“Deep Blue, add points for me.”

Kazuki stared at the glowing icon for the “Golden Kin Constitution” in the group’s virtual mall, priced at a steep 500 Contribution Points.

His tone was flat, his fingertip already hovering over the confirmation button, poised to make the purchase.Full novel: Honkai Star Rail: My Chat Group is Full of Broken Timelines — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

[System Notification: Your balance is insufficient.]

When the cold, impersonal notification popped up, Kazuki barely managed to suppress an eye roll.

Good grief.

He never imagined that even after transmigrating into the world of Star Rail, he’d still be haunted by the four words that had plagued him for most of his previous life.

It seemed the fate of being broke was a universal constant, inescapable across all realities.

He pulled up his personal panel.

The Contribution Point balance sat there, a lonely three-digit number—nothing more than the scraps he’d saved up from uploading a few materials for the other group members.

‘Looks like I need to find a way to get some starting capital,’ he thought with a sigh.

A new idea sparked in his mind.

‘Since Castorice was completely fine after uploading her Golden Kin Constitution, then my own Xianzhou Native constitution should be safe to upload too, right?’

With that thought, Kazuki’s fingers flew across the panel.

A moment later, a new message appeared in the group announcement channel.

[Cliffhanger King: @All Members I’ve uploaded the Xianzhou Native constitution.

Those with some spare cash can take a look.

Produced by the Merciful Medicus, it’s definitely a high-quality product—no side effects, durable, and sturdy!]

He couldn’t resist adding a little sales pitch.

The Xianzhou Native constitution was, after all, a top-tier biological framework.

It boasted a long lifespan, incredible self-healing capabilities, and high adaptability to nearly any form of power.

In the grand scheme of the galaxy, it was a premium configuration.

Selling it for a high price wasn’t asking too much, was it?

After Kazuki finalized the upload, the previously sparse group mall gained a new, high-value item.

The system, after its analysis, had priced the Xianzhou Native constitution at a handsome 800 Contribution Points.

[Pure Beauty Knight: A Xianzhou Native?

If I have extra points in the future, I might want to try it out…]

As a galactic superstar and a future knight of the Pure Beauty, Robin’s understanding of the Xianzhou people ran far deeper than that of Firefly or Castorice.

She knew just how ridiculously powerful the racial talents of the Xianzhou were.

At the same time, she was immensely grateful that they followed the Aeon of The Hunt, whose Path had always kept their expansionist tendencies in check.

If the Xianzhou were ever truly unleashed, becoming one of the Three Galactic Calamities alongside the Antimatter Legion and The Swarm…

That would be a new, horrifying disaster for the entire galaxy.

[Group member “Pure Beauty Knight” has uploaded “Halovian Physique”.]

Kazuki glanced at the new item Robin had shared.

Unlike the Chrysos Heir or the Xianzhou Natives, the Halovians didn’t possess such reality-defying biological settings.

However, their people seemed naturally attuned to the Paths of Harmony and Order.

After a brief analysis, the chat group priced the Halovian Physique at 200 Contribution Points.

[Titania II: I think I’ll pass on the excitement…]

Unlike the others, Firefly was acutely aware of the flaws inherent in her existence as a soldier of the Glamoth Iron Cavalry.

Even if her unique constitution granted her innate combat prowess and the ability to summon the armor SAM, she couldn’t risk harming anyone in the group with its volatile nature.

[Group member “Titania II” has uploaded “Firefly’s Combat Techniques,” “Firefly’s Swordplay,” and “Swarm Weakness Analysis”…]

These uploads, skills and knowledge paid for with blood on the battlefields against The Swarm, were not as expensive as the biological constitutions. Get faster updates on g.com.

They were, however, intensely practical, and the system quickly recorded and listed them for purchase.

The “ability upload wave” that Castorice had inadvertently started gradually subsided.

When the dust settled, Kazuki’s account finally showed a considerable income: 800 Contribution Points.

It wasn’t a point more or less—just enough to buy the Golden Kin Constitution, with a little left over to pick up some of Firefly’s combat techniques.

A grin spread across his face.

‘Maybe I really can pull off an upset against Yanqing?’

“Deep Blue, add points for me!”

This time, Kazuki’s voice rang with the unshakeable confidence of a man with a full wallet.

‘Hmph…

Your strength is built up through day after day of accumulated training and improvement.

How flimsy, how shallow!’he mused internally, a spark of mischief in his eyes.’But I…

I rely on a system cheat to level up step by step!

The difference is clear, folks.’

The moment he confirmed the purchase, a searing heat erupted from his chest.

It felt as if molten magma was being force-fed into his veins, scorching his meridians with every agonizing pulse.

Kazuki couldn’t help but let out a soft groan, his fingertips trembling.

‘So this is the power of the Chrysos Heir?’ The golden blood of Destruction boiled within him, a roiling inferno that threatened to cook him from the inside out.

“What’s wrong, Kazuki?” Jing Yuan, who had been walking a few paces ahead, heard the stifled sound and turned back.

Seeing the boy’s suddenly pale face, he couldn’t hide the concern in his voice.

“Are you feeling unwell?”

Due to the confidential nature of the chat group system, the general was completely unaware of the monumental transformation occurring within Kazuki’s body.

“No, it’s nothing,” Kazuki managed, forcing a tight, strained smile.

The burning pain was immense.

“I think I might have eaten something bad in Aurum Alley yesterday.

I’ll be fine in a minute.”

Inwardly, he was cursing a blue streak.

‘If I’d known the reaction would be this violent, I would have made an excuse to go to the bathroom!’ He quickly closed his eyes, desperately trying to guide the two warring powers within him toward some kind of fusion.

Fortunately, the Power of Abundance inherent in his Xianzhou Native constitution was naturally compatible with all things.

And though the Power of Destruction from the Chrysos Heir was tyrannical and overbearing, it was slowly, painstakingly guided into a delicate, volatile balance with the life-giving energy.

After a long moment, the burning sensation gradually faded.

Soon, it was replaced by a wave of invigorating coolness that washed through him, leaving him feeling utterly renewed.

A refreshed, revitalized expression bloomed on Kazuki’s face.

“Phew, I’m fine now, Great-Uncle,” he announced, feeling the potent energy surging through his limbs.

He felt like he’d just gained the strength of a bull, the kind of power usually reserved for protagonists in fantasy novels.

“Let’s go see the little colt, shall we?”

He couldn’t help but feel that the sky had cleared, the rain had stopped, and he was, in fact, capable again.

‘What Yanqing?

He’s just a whetstone waiting for my blade!’

Hmph, I shall fetch my greatsword now!

With a cold snort of newfound confidence, he summoned the Stone Fire Dream Body.

Previously, the massive blade had always felt heavy and sluggish in his grip, forcing him to borrow the residual power Jing Yuan had left in it just to swing it with any flexibility.

But now, its weight felt perfect, as if it were a natural extension of his own arm.

“You seem quite motivated,” Jing Yuan remarked, a hint of relieved surprise flashing in his eyes as he glanced at the blade in Kazuki’s hand.

He had expected the boy to resist this spar, but he hadn’t anticipated him adjusting his mindset so quickly and completely. Visit g.com for the full chapter.

As they spoke, the two of them arrived at the edge of the Martial Arts Arena.

In the center of the arena, a small figure was practicing his swordplay against a series of training dummies.

The youth wore his hair in a signature ponytail, the blond strands shimmering with a soft luster under the sunlight.

His green eyes were focused intently on the bullseye of a target, his concentration absolute.

Every swing of his sword was precise and clean, the arc of the blade slicing through the air with a steadiness that belied his age.

This was Yanqing.

Kazuki had to admit, he truly had no talent for combat.

Jing Yuan had taught him a few moves before, but even after half a year of practice, he was only slightly stronger than an ordinary Cloud Knight.

Compared to a bona fide genius like Yanqing, the difference was like that between the clouds and the mud.

Eventually, he’d simply decided to slack off.

With the foundation of a Xianzhou Native, he could, at his worst, still crush 99.9% of the other races in the galaxy.

Even among the long-life species, he was considered outstanding.

If it hadn’t been for this chat group dragging him into its schemes, he probably would have lived out his long life without ever once thinking about “becoming stronger.”

“Yanqing, come here,” Jing Yuan called out, his voice echoing across the training ground.

Hearing the general’s voice, the youth immediately sheathed his sword, turned, and offered a crisp bow.

“General.”

“This is Kazuki.

You should still remember him, right?” Jing Yuan said, gesturing toward the young man beside him.

“I do.

Teacher Kazuki taught me many things,” Yanqing replied at once, nodding respectfully.

“From today on, you don’t have to practice your swordplay alone anymore,” Jing Yuan continued, placing a hand on Yanqing’s shoulder.

His tone grew serious.

“I’m giving you a task—spar with Kazuki.

Use your full strength, and do not hold back.”

In truth, Jing Yuan didn’t actually expect Kazuki to defeat Yanqing.

He knew his grand-nephew’s combat talent—or lack thereof—better than anyone.

Yanqing, on the other hand, was a true prodigy.

Even if Kazuki underwent some crash training, his rate of progress could never hope to match the young swordsman’s.

He only hoped that this spar might force Kazuki to unlock some hidden potential, to at least gain the ability to protect himself.

Only then could he let the boy venture out into the galaxy with some peace of mind.

Though Yanqing was somewhat puzzled by the command, he walked up to Kazuki as instructed.

Holding his sword in both hands, he bowed deeply.

“Teacher Kazuki, please give me your guidance.”

Kazuki finally snapped out of his reverie and hurriedly sheathed his own blade to return the bow.

“Not at all.

I should be the one relying on you for guidance, Yanqing.”

Jing Yuan watched the exchange, stroking his chin with a thoughtful smile.

“There’s no time like the present.

Why don’t you two try a few moves right now?”
