“This is tied to my own inherent power. I don’t think anyone else can learn it.”

…

Not getting the answer she wanted, Stelle sulked in disappointment.Full novel: Honkai Star Rail: The Trailblaze Journey of the Worldbearing Phainon — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Alright, stop dawdling and keep moving! Let’s see if any Aeons take notice of you.” Seeing the two pause in the simulation, Herta urged them from outside.

They advanced along the corridor, and three Tramplers materialized before them.

“Wait!” Herta called out as Stelle charged forward with her baseball bat.

“I know you’re capable of handling the Legion, but I promised you wouldn’t get hurt.” She reached out and lightly tapped the screen.

A few beams of light infused into their bodies.

“I’ve given you some blessings of Destruction,” Herta’s voice came through.

“With these, the fighting should be easier.”

“Phainon, let me handle this one!” Stelle said eagerly, feeling the energy surging within her.

“Alright. Be careful.” Phainon nodded and stood back with his hands behind his back.

“Hehe. Time to show them what the Galactic Baseballer can do!” Stelle flashed a mischievous grin and charged in with her bat.

“Rules are made to be broken!”

She struck the Tramplers again and again with her glowing bat, muttering nonstop.

“So you’re a Trampler, huh! So you’re the one who ambushed March! So your boss is a Lord Ravager! Let me smash your stupid head in!”

The fight didn’t last long.

With the power of the Stellaron within her and the blessings she’d received, Stelle quickly wiped out all three elite enemies.

Just then, a manic laughter echoed from the void.

“Hahahaha! Akivili using the power of Destruction to beat Destruction’s own minions right in front of Nanook—now that’s comedy!”

A phantom figure materialized out of thin air.

Neither Phainon nor Stelle could look directly at Them.

“Excellent! It’s Aha, the Aeon of Elation!” Herta’s voice grew excited at the sight of Aha’s appearance.

“Let me record this!”

Aha’s laughter was incredibly infectious, carrying an overwhelming psychic weight that assaulted both of them.

“Wait, that’s not Akivili and the madman,” Aha said, taking a closer look at the two and realizing they were merely impersonating Aeons.

In the span of a few breaths, Aha dragged the Aeon of Destruction over with Them.

“Hey madman, did you know? Both you and Aha are fake! Just think about how funny that is!”

Normally, Nanook would have hurled a few meteors at Aha for such antics.

But this time, They fixed Their gaze intently on Phainon, whose eyes burned with hatred.

Recognizing his identity, Nanook nodded in satisfaction.

“Nanook only cares about Their precious one and ignores Aha. Aha is bored. Aha is leaving.” With that, Aha’s manic laughter gradually faded into the depths of the cosmos.

“Good heavens, two Aeons at once!” Outside, Herta’s fingers were flying across the keyboard at incomprehensible speed, recording line after line of data.

“If Screwllum and Ruan Mei saw this data, they’d be speechless with excitement too!”

“That’s… the Aeon I saw before!” Stelle stared at the towering brown figure, recalling the vision she’d had after being struck by the Doomsday Beast.

Nanook cast a single glance at Stelle, and her consciousness was immediately ejected from the Simulated Universe, snapping back to reality in Herta’s office.

“How did I get out? Herta, wake Phainon up too!” Not knowing what had happened, Stelle felt a sense of dread creeping in.

“Alright,” Herta said as she disconnected Phainon’s link.

But he didn’t disappear from the simulation.

Instead, he remained on screen, still locked in a standoff with Nanook.

Seeing this, Stelle grabbed Herta’s phone and contacted Himeko.

On the screen, Phainon made no effort to hide his overwhelming hatred for Nanook.

In an instant, he unleashed all the power within him.

His golden wings spread once more as he bathed in golden blood and flew straight toward Nanook.

Watching the ant-like figure approach, and sensing the increasingly powerful aura of Destruction emanating from him, a glimmer of something that should not exist in a divine being—pleasure—flickered across Nanook’s eyes.

Phainon descended onto a planet covered in scorched earth.

The remnants of a bygone civilization groaned beneath his feet.

Following his gaze, a powerfully built figure wielding a longsword appeared on the horizon, his face obscured, an endless oppressive force bearing down on Phainon.

“Lackey of Destruction!” Phainon gritted his teeth at the enemy before him.

Outside, the Astral Express crew, having received the news, gathered in Herta’s office. This chapter was copied from novelping.com without permission.

Their faces were grave as they stared at the figure that had appeared on screen.

“The most fearsome of all Lord Ravagers. His blade pierces the void, penetrating the deepest darkness—Lord Ravager, Zephyro.” Dan Heng slowly uttered the name of a being whose very existence could shake the world.

“Can Phainon still not disconnect?” Even Himeko couldn’t help but feel a pang of worry at the sight.

“Theoretically, he should be able to wake up at any time. I’ve placed no restrictions on him,” Herta said, watching the screen with keen interest.

“Unless… he doesn’t want to come out.”

Back on that dead star, the sky was torn in two.

On one side, Zephyro’s descent brought absolute darkness that devoured all light, churning with shattered star fragments and quantum dust.

On the other side blazed the unyielding golden radiance of Phainon’s life force—a blade of dawn piercing the eternal night across a battlefield of utter desolation.

The air shrieked under the pressure of two destructive forces colliding.

The ground cracked and vaporized with each clash of their powers.

Ceasing his probing of this unknown enemy, Zephyro simply cast a glance, and all the meteors surrounding him hurtled toward Phainon.

Phainon’s figure transformed into a golden thread tearing through the darkness.

His fists were no longer mere flesh and blood, but the very will of “Creation” concentrated to its utmost extreme.

Each strike landed precisely on the most vulnerable energy nodes of the meteors.

The fragments exploded like fireworks, carving golden furrows into the scorched earth.

He danced like the Grim Reaper in a storm, every step treading the edge of annihilation, using a mortal shell to withstand a cataclysm.

Seeming to realize that such attacks posed little real threat to Phainon, Zephyro coldly unleashed a “heat-death jet”—a blast powerful enough to pierce through an entire planet.

Phainon had nowhere to dodge.

He crossed his arms before him, his golden flames surging to form a tangible “Anti-Entropy Shield.”

“Calamity: Soulscorch Edict!” Though his defense was formidable, the body of a Chrysos Heir ultimately belonged to the realm of “mortals,” not yet transcending to the divine.

One by one, harrowing cracks spread across his already battered frame.

“Pain… is but a premonition of what’s to come.” Barely holding on against the assault, Phainon’s counterattack arrived in that very moment.

“The threads of fate… are here… severed!”

The air between them seemed to be utterly vacuumed away.

The sky-piercing longsword descended upon Zephyro with absolute silence and finality.
