Constantly drifting somewhere between reliable and unreliable.

At the very least, the Astral Express crew trusts him completely.

“…What the hell does ‘between reliable and unreliable’ even mean?”

Katya scratched her head.

A-Xian said, “No wonder he has that weird vibe.”

“Maybe he’s a troll type?”

“Or secretly black-bellied?”

“A black-bellied doctor…”

“That contrast is kind of nice.”

Katya coughed.

“Let big sister inspect his true attributes.”

Level: 80/80

Base HP: 1305

Base ATK: 4

Base DEF: 551

SPD: 100

Aggro: 100

Max Energy: 110

Most viewers were playing a turn-based game for the first time.

They weren’t sensitive to these numbers.

Many didn’t even understand what Speed, Aggro, or maximum Energy actually did.

But no matter who looked at the stat page—

Everyone broke upon seeing his base Attack.

A-Xian nearly sprayed milk tea everywhere.

“WHY DOES HE ONLY HAVE FOUR ATTACK?”

“Combat power below five?!”

“He’s Abundance,” Katya replied.

“With four Attack, obviously his kit doesn’t scale on Attack.”

“Relax.”

Then she couldn’t help laughing.

“His body’s pretty good, though.”

“Nice and sturdy.”

“High base HP and Defense.”

“Average Speed.”

“Normal Aggro.”

“Low Energy requirement.”

“His rotation should be pretty simple.”

“Now let’s look at the kit.”

Basic ATK — Single Target — Lv.

6

Deals Wind DMG equal to 50% of Lingzhou’s Max HP to a single enemy.

Energy Regeneration: 20

Toughness Reduction: 10

“See?”

“He scales on HP.”

“Though the skill name is kind of stupid.”

Both livestream audiences could hear Katya trying desperately not to laugh.

“Anyway, pretty ordinary.”

“No enhanced Basic Attack mechanics.” Visit g.com for the full chapter.

“Next.”

Skill — Bounce — Lv.

10

Deals Wind DMG equal to 30% of Lingzhou’s Max HP to a designated enemy, then deals 2 additional instances of damage.

Each additional hit deals Wind DMG equal to 10% of Lingzhou’s Max HP to a random enemy.

Each hit restores 100 HP to all allies.

Energy Regeneration: 30

Toughness Reduction: 10 per hit

A-Xian and Katya spoke at the same time.

“Why can his Skill attack enemies?”

“And why is the healing so tiny?”

“One main hit plus two bounces.”

“Three attacks only heal a fixed 300?”

“This is max-level data!”

“That’s it?”

“Some of you heroes might not know, but a normal DPS at max level usually has around 2800 to 3000 HP.”

“Even after healing bonuses, 300 probably won’t reach 500.”

“That’s seriously too low.”

Katya shook her head slightly.

In her opinion, the Skill looked fairly weak.

Healers weren’t expected to deal damage in the first place.

Especially not one scaling on HP.

Spending one Skill Point for mediocre damage and pitiful healing didn’t seem worthwhile.

If she absolutely had to praise something—

Bounce skills had decent Toughness damage.

Three hits at 10 each meant 30 total.

Roughly equivalent to Welt’s Skill.

[If you want healing, just do it yourse— Sorry. Saw the skill name and crossed dimensions.]

[Does he use a katana?]

[Can he open portals? Can he give out predatory loans?]

[Good lord. Why are there asylum patients here too?]

Remembering Lingzhou’s support heal during the story, A-Xian instinctively tried to reassure herself.

“Don’t panic yet.”

“His Ultimate probably heals like crazy.”

“In the story it literally restored everyone to full.”

Everyone’s attention followed Katya’s mouse.

Ultimate — AoE — Lv.

10

Deals Wind DMG equal to 80% of Lingzhou’s Max HP to all enemies and restores 1234 HP to all allies.

Enemies hit enter [Illusory Dream], which can trigger up to 1 time.

When an enemy attempts to inflict an Action Delay or Crowd Control debuff on an ally, that ally becomes immune to the debuff and reflects it back to the attacker while ignoring Effect RES.

Energy Regeneration: 5

Toughness Reduction: 20

A-Xian was still processing it.

Katya sucked in a sharp breath.

“A reflection mechanic that ignores resistance?”

“Holy shit.”

“This Ultimate is insane!”

“You guys may not understand how valuable this is at first glance.”

“Enemy tries to control us.”

“They fail.”

“Then they control themselves instead.”

“One hundred percent guaranteed.”

“Action Delay includes pushback and Slow.”

“Crowd Control means things like Imprisonment, Freeze, Stun, and so on.”

“So Lingzhou’s Ultimate doesn’t just heal the entire team.”

“It also gives every enemy on the field a ‘taste your own medicine’ debuff.”

“From another perspective—”

“This is even better than simple crowd-control immunity!”

Katya’s explanation was straightforward.

Even so, plenty of people still couldn’t fully grasp its value.

That was fine.

Before long, a certain imprisoned character who loved elbowing the team with crowd control would teach them.

A-Xian sighed sincerely.

“Now that you explain it that way…”

“This doctor really is reliable.”

“The Ultimate healing is decent too,” Katya said.

“With Eidolons and healing stats, it should easily break 1800.”

“That’s about right for a normal four-star healer.”

“So Lingzhou’s main highlight is this weird anti-CC mechanic.”

“Barring surprises, I doubt his Talent and Traces will contain anything too outrageous.”

She opened Lingzhou’s Talent.

Talent — Bounce — Lv.

10

Whenever a target enters an Action Delay or Crowd Control debuff state, Lingzhou immediately launches a follow-up attack against that target.

The follow-up deals Wind DMG equal to 10% of Lingzhou’s Max HP, followed by 4 additional hits.

Each additional hit deals Wind DMG equal to 5% of Lingzhou’s Max HP to a random enemy.

Whenever a target receives a non-control debuff, Lingzhou gains 1 stack of [Gaze] for each target affected.

At 5 stacks, Lingzhou immediately launches a follow-up attack against a random target.

Up to 10 stacks may be stored.

Enemies hit by this follow-up attack have their All-Type RES reduced by 10% for 2 turns.

Debuffs inflicted by this follow-up attack cannot generate [Gaze].

Energy Regeneration: 5

Toughness Reduction: 3.33 per hit

“WHAT?!”

“Premium Resistance shred?!”

Katya cried out.

“Pela and E4 Yanqing only have around twelve percent Resistance shred!”

“And even that’s locked to Ice!”

“Lingzhou is a healer and reduces ALL RES by ten percent!”

“One word.”

“Mandatory!”

“I take back what I said.”

“This Talent is ridiculously good!”

Ten percent Resistance shred didn’t look huge.

But as long as an enemy’s resistance wasn’t already zero, the effective damage increase was greater than ten percent.

For launch characters with limited access to damage amplification, that was extremely valuable.
