Although the sacred gear could not be extracted from the stray devil for the time being, it did not mean there was nothing I could do.

The most important thing to note was the stray devil devil himself, after all, no matter what, it was a devil, a supernatural creature, and it was my first time seeing one.

Although I was not a genius in biology, or a madman type of scientist, I could still use monsters for x-rays and different scans to see what exactly was it that made this devil different from us humans.Full novel: HP/DxD: Annihilation Maker doesn’t wish for Annihilation — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Better yet was the fact that he was a human who had been reincarnated as a devil using an evil piece, if, a major if, I learned how evil pieces work, and I can change races, I could potentially create an faction of my own from humans.

Of course, reality is often disappointing, even if it was possible to do so, I had been unable to do it until now, my research ability was not particularly my strong suit.

And so, a year passed, I turned eleven.

Not much had changed honestly, I still hadn’t reached the balance breaker of my sacred gear, nor had I learnt any magic.

Of course, I did get stronger compared to before using the same old routine of increasing my raw reserves.

And that too had became frustratingly slow now, I think a few more years and it would stop working altogether.

“Damien, what will you take, hot chocolate or coffee?” My mom, Emilia asked as we arrived in the dining hall for dinner.

Despite our wealth, which had, by the way increased enough to land us into the rank of billionaires.

Somewhere around 1.8 to 2 billion euros.

She still liked to cook most of our food herself, the reason being that she used to be a chef, my father first fell in love with her cooking, which was so good that instead of hiring her, he straight up married her.

“I will take wine, please.” My father replied, already sitting on the table.

“Hot chocolate it is.”

But just as we sat on the table, something strange happened.

An Owl entered our home, and landed straight on our table, which was pretty weird.

The three of us just looked at the owl in silence and and then at each other, again, in silence.

“Am I tripping, or is that owl carrying a letter…” My dad asked skeptically.

“It really is carrying one, I thought pigeons were used in ancient times to carry letters, someone out there still using birds, and an owl at that, is pretty strange… The owl is cute though.” My mom commented.

“Shouldn’t we focus more on what the letter is?” I asked, my brain running at a rapid pace.

The bird was not normal…

I mean for the most part it was, but it had magical energy, albeit very little, but it could still be considered a supernatural creature.

‘Has someone figured out about me?’ I thought, and instantly commanded my sacred gear.

Thousands of invisible monsters were created, surrounding the entire estate, guarding from all sides, hundreds of flying monsters scouting the skies.

I had gone into full alert, whatever this was…

My father gestured for the butler, Tom, to fasten the letter from the owl, and although Tom looked a bit reluctant, he still did as asked.

“It’s addressed to young master Damien… from some institution named… Hogwarts.” Tom said aloud.

And I was flabbergasted.

A letter…

from Hogwarts…

“Give me that letter!!” I ordered urgently, my composure slipping instantly.

“Yes, young master Damien.” Tom frowned at my reaction but handed me the letter almost instantly.

Looking at the letter, the intro said,

To, Mr. Damien Whitmore.

2nd floor, Whitmore mansion.

Which was, indeed…

correct.

The entire second floor was mine, from the gaming room, to the theatre, everything there was according to my demands, after all, only my father, mother and I lived in the entire estate except for the servants and guards.

Opening the letter, I opened the old looking parchment,

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

I just stared at it in shock…

How could I have been so foolish.

All those years of binge reading fanfics, wasted…

I turned eleven in the year 1991, and I was reincarnated in London, of course, there has to be Harry potter verse involved.

Is this world a mixture of the verses of Harry potter and DxD?

Wait, aren’t Harry potter wizards pretty weak in DxD?

Are they even relevant?

Fuck!!!

Now I remember, when I asked that stray devil, he specifically said that he came to britain because the mages, and wizards here were too weak…

He differentiated mages and wizards…

And those weirdly dressed mages, they were harry potter Wizards…

It all makes sense now.

“What happened son, is everything alright?” My father asked, worry visible on his face.

“Son, are you okay, what does it say?” My mom asked, patting me, she too looked worried seeing my expression.

‘Crap, my acting fell off…’

“Excuse me for a moment.” I said and ran off, away from the dining table, towards my room.

“Is something wrong kid, tell me?” My father shouted, getting even more worried about my reaction.

I know my actions were probably a stupid, but I was really not in the right mind right now.

This world was not a pure DxD world, if one Harry potter can be added, what about other more ridiculous worlds?

Reaching my room, I shut the gate, and fell into deep thinking.

This was bad…

it seems I need to have a talk with my parents, with the Hogwarts letter coming to me, they would soon learn towards the supernatural, and my reaction just now was enough to blow off that I was already well aware about it.

But…

there are more things for me to be worried about right now…
