At this very moment, Sparkle was standing in a magical place.

A restroom on the Herta Space Station.

I have to say, high technology is high technology; even the toilets are different.Full novel: HSR: I Became Sparkle, Not a Lunatic! — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Silvery-white walls, streamlined washbasins, sensor-activated faucets, and—the toilet.

Sparkle blinked.

This toilet looks…

why does it look a bit familiar?

But the urge to pee waits for no one.

She didn’t have time to overthink it.

She first glanced at the phone floating beside her—the viewers in the live stream were still frantically spamming—

“Holy crap, this scene is too big!”

“Is the Herta Space Station really this big?

How many special effects must this have taken!”

“How on earth did the streamer manage this!”

“Too awesome, too awesome.”

Sparkle made a gesture at the phone, then turned the camera away from the door, aiming it toward the washbasin.

She reached out, plucked Fuli from her shoulder, and placed it on the washbasin.

“Wait here,” she whispered.

Then she ducked into the stall and closed the door.

In the live stream, the chat instantly exploded—

“?????”

“What are you doing, what are you doing!”

“Don’t close the door on us, streamer!!!”

“Brothers, wait, she really left the phone outside?”

“The streamer is so unpredictable, I love this chaotic energy!”

“Are we seriously just staring at a sink now?

Lmao.”

“The monkey is so chill though, look at it.”

“Everyone above, calm down and just wait!!!”

Fuli squatted on the washbasin, looking at the tightly closed stall door, then at the phone floating beside it, and silently continued nibbling on a banana it had pulled out from who knows where.

Inside the stall.

Sparkle sat on the toilet and let out a long sigh of relief.

Finally relaxed.

She looked down at her outfit—that red-and-white improved uniform, the wide sleeves, the exquisite collar, and the leg ring on her calf.

I have to say, sitting on a toilet wearing this feels pretty cool.

Outside, things were chaotic; the Doomsday Beast was rampaging, and staff members were running around.

But here, it was peaceful and quiet, so quiet she could only hear her own breathing.

Sparkle narrowed her eyes, a look of contentment appearing on her face.

Her red eyes curved into crescent moons, the tips of her white hair hung by her sides, and she felt so comfortable she was about to hum aloud.

Nice.

Just then—

She opened her eyes.

The scene before her had changed.

It was still the silvery-white walls, still those familiar facilities, still the Herta Space Station.

But it wasn’t the restroom.

Sparkle stared blankly at everything in front of her.

This was a small room, filled with various instruments and screens, with data streams scrolling wildly across them.

In the center sat a chair, and on the chair sat a person—no, a puppet.

Brown hair, an exquisite Victorian-style dress, purple eyes.

A Herta Puppet.

The puppet was crossing its arms, expressionlessly watching the large screen in front, where data flashed dazzlingly. This chapter is updated first at g.com.

Hearing the commotion, she tilted her head slightly, her purple eyes turning toward this side.

The moment she saw Sparkle, those eyes raised their brows slightly.

Sparkle’s mind went blank.

She looked down at herself.

Still sitting on the toilet.

She raised her head again and looked at the large screen behind the Herta Puppet.

On the screen, the data stream suddenly stopped.

Lines of information appeared—

[Masked Fools]

[Elation]

[Tavern]

[…]

At the very top was an avatar.

A girl with black hair, wearing a fox mask, her smile bright and dangerous.

Sparkle.

Sparkle froze completely.

Her lips moved, but she couldn’t utter a word.

That’s right.

The Herta Space Station had a setting.

It had a Curio.

It was a teleportation device shaped exactly like a normal toilet.

As long as you sat on it and flushed, you would be randomly teleported to some place on the space station.

But she just now…

seemed to…

not have flushed.

But whether she flushed or not, the fact was—

She hit the jackpot.

Sparkle’s expression shifted from blank to despair, her whole face sagging, and her red eyes were filled with the words “My life is over.”

Herta looked at her, her purple eyes narrowing slightly, and a meaningful curve appeared at the corner of her mouth.

At the same time.

On the washbasin.

Fuli finished the last bite of the banana and was throwing the peel into the trash can.

The chat in the live stream was still frantically spamming—

“What the hell?

Why is only the monkey left?”

“I don’t want to see the monkey!

Where did the streamer go?”

“Wait, why is it so quiet inside?”

“Is this a magic trick?

Did she sneak out?”

“The chat is losing its mind right now, where is Sparkle?!”

“Guys, look at the monkey’s face, it looks so confused.”

“Streamer, come out already!”

Fuli’s movements suddenly stopped.

It perked up its ears and turned to look at the tightly closed stall door.

It was too quiet.

It jumped off the washbasin, hopped to the door in a few steps, and extended its little paw to push it.

The door opened.

Only that toilet stood there quietly.

Fuli was stunned.

Three seconds later.

“Squeak—!!!”

A sharp screech echoed through the entire restroom.

The monkey’s screech was extremely piercing, making even the phone on the washbasin vibrate.

In the live stream, the chat exploded again—

“Holy crap!!!”

“What happened, what happened!”

“What is the monkey screaming about!”

“The streamer is literally gone?!”

“What’s going on, is this part of the show?!”

Fuli spun in circles frantically, scratching its head with its little paws, letting out a series of rapid cries.

It’s over, it’s over, it’s over, it’s over—

Sparkle is lost!

In that sound, if you listened carefully, besides shock, it seemed to carry a hint of…

Schadenfreude~

Perspective shift.

Looking at the situation before her, only one thought remained in Sparkle’s mind—

I’m doomed.

She slowly stood up, her movements as stiff as a rusty robot.

The ends of her white hair slid down to her chest as she stood up, her twin tails slightly messy from the shock, and a few stray hairs stuck to her slightly flushed cheeks.

The heart painted on her face was still vivid under the lights, but the expression on that face had completely frozen.

“Um…”

She spoke dryly, her voice sounding like it was squeezed from her throat, “Uh…

sorry to bother you…”

As she spoke, she frantically scanned her surroundings with her peripheral vision.

Where is the door?

Where is the exit?

Where is the escape route?

“I, I, I’ll be going now—!”

Before she could finish speaking, she lifted her leg and wanted to rush toward the door.

“Stop.”

A cold voice came from behind, like a bucket of ice water poured over her head.

Sparkle froze in place, maintaining the leg-lifted posture, like an abstract sculpture.

“Turn around.”

Sparkle slowly put her leg down, slowly turned around, and slowly cast her gaze toward the little puppet sitting on the chair.

Herta’s chair had already turned, facing her directly.

The puppet rested its chin on one hand, tilted its head, and stared straight at her with purple eyes, its face devoid of any expression, making the hair on the back of Sparkle’s neck stand up.

Sparkle met those eyes for half a second, then, very consciously, sat back down on the toilet.

That’s right, that very toilet.

Sitting on it felt at least a bit safer than standing.

The toilet seat was still warm.

Her composure was collapsing at a visible speed.

Herta watched this series of actions, her purple eyes narrowing slightly, but she didn’t say anything.

She simply raised her other hand and pointed to the large screen beside her.

On the screen, the data stream had stopped.

Lines of clear information were neatly arranged, with a black-haired girl’s avatar at the top.

Sparkle.
