Herta Space Station, Storage Zone, Curio containment room.

Inside the room stood rows of neatly arranged, sci-fi-style display cases.

Various bizarre objects floated within them—a deck of playing cards, an odd-looking conch, a gun with eyes…Full novel: HSR— The Nameless’s Unique Way of Making Friends — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Surrounding the displays were monochromatic metal walls, ordinary decorative plants, and uniquely designed integrated terminals.

Floating directly before him was a sleek, futuristic light screen.

Neatly aligned text was displayed across the interface.

[Stelle’s Affinity unlocked…]

[Stelle, Affinity: 0]

[The “Stelle” section in the Game Shop is now unlocked.

Merchandise is being updated…]

Looking at the comatose, gray-haired beauty lying in the corner of the room and considering the information at hand, Su Yan had already deduced his current situation.

Simply put, he had transmigrated.

As someone well-versed in pop culture and entertainment media, Su Yan was surprised for only a brief moment before accepting this absurd reality.

Panic served no purpose; calmly analyzing the situation was the best course of action.

The system was straightforward, laying out the cause and effect of its acquisition with utter clarity.

In short, a system disguised as a video game had sought to randomly select a host, and as the first person to log into the game, he had become the lucky winner.

No other information was withheld either; it was all directly imparted into Su Yan’s mind.

First was the system’s name: “Social Simulation Game.” In the game, one increased a target’s affinity through conversation, gift-giving, and event invitations.

In reality, the mechanics remained largely unchanged.

Meeting someone unlocked their affinity tracker, and unlocking a character opened a corresponding section in the shop containing items favored by that specific person.

The price of items in the shop was uniform: one unit of shop currency per item.

Shop currency was exchanged at a rate of fifty character affinity points per coin.

Aside from the shop, the system’s Gift DIY feature was another way to acquire gifts.

By spending shop currency, one could customize gifts from scratch.

Aesthetic design and the first special effect were free; adding more effects cost shop currency at a rate of one coin per effect, with a maximum of three effects per item.

“…There are really zero restrictions on appearance and added effects?

Is that for real?”

Su Yan checked multiple times, but he truly could not find a single limitation in the system’s operating instructions.

After a brief silence, an increasingly cocky grin spread across Su Yan’s face.

Items that were perfectly ordinary and common in games would be utterly game-breaking if brought into reality.

For instance, items that instantly restored health and energy, or items that granted wishes…

As for the second source of gifts, ordinary items purchased in the real world could also be given, which could be far more cost-effective depending on the situation.

In other respects, the standard inventory common to such systems was present as well.

The storage slots had no capacity limits, though the number of slots was restricted and could be expanded using shop currency.

The shop currency took the form of colorless prismatic crystals, or simply “Prisms.”

“Very true to typical game mechanics…”

After carefully reading the system instructions and going over them word for word to ensure nothing was missed, Su Yan muttered a critique.

Overall, Su Yan was extremely satisfied with the system.

Judging by the descriptions alone, it was ridiculously powerful.

As for whether it was truly as potent as the manual claimed, he could test it right now.

First, he opened the game shop.

The system had provided a starting balance of one hundred Prisms.

In-game, that was considered a generous sum, and in reality, it was just as substantial.

Currently, the items unlocked in the shop were things Stelle liked, which were, in some respects, rather bizarre…

A Lordly Trashcan Summon Ticket: upon use, summons a Lordly Trashcan with randomized combat power and skills.

Ordinary Trash Bags and Golden Trash Bags: randomly yields an item upon opening.

Trashcan Selectors, Stellar Jades…

After browsing the catalog for a while without finding anything he needed, Su Yan switched interfaces, intending to resolve his immediate needs with Gift DIY.

Since the system imposed no limitations, he could be as liberal as he liked when creating gifts.

“First, something to guarantee my safety…”

Su Yan stared at the DIY interface.

Considering the danger level of the Honkai: Star Rail universe, ensuring his survival was undeniably the top priority.

“There are plenty of ways to stay safe!

Absolute defense, instant recall…”

“Speaking of recall…” Su Yan thought aloud, his gaze turning to the text field for item settings.

“Can I make an item that takes me back home?

…Worth a shot!”

Without hesitation, Su Yan began filling in the item’s parameters.

For the appearance, he chose a standard door.

As for the effects…

First effect: Door Summoning.

The door could be summoned anytime, anywhere.

Second effect: Recording and Teleportation.

It could record coordinates and teleport to them.

Su Yan specifically added the data for his “home” into the recorded list.

Third effect: Indestructibility.

Unbreakable even by an Aeon.

Between the three effects and enhancements, Su Yan spent a total of twenty Prisms.

“Suddenly, a hundred Prisms doesn’t feel like that much…”

Holding the finished item, Su Yan complained as he saw a fifth of his savings vanish.

Then, he summoned the “Door.”

A plain brown wooden door appeared in the room.

Su Yan pushed it open, and a familiar sight met his eyes—his very own bedroom.

The moment the wooden door swung open, the long-dormant Path of the Trailblaze suddenly surged with activity.

Pom-Pom and various Aeons: “…The Path is expanding!”

Elio: “…The futures are multiplying!”

Several Aeons wasted no time, immediately beginning to investigate the cause.

Yet the culprit behind it all remained completely oblivious.

He had already stepped through the door and back into his bedroom.

After looking around for a moment, his gaze finally settled on his still-lit computer monitor.

He checked his browsing history and various files, confirming that it was indeed his computer.

Walking over to the window, he looked outside…

“It really is my home…”

Su Yan now had a clear understanding of what “no restrictions” meant.

It was genuinely limitless.

Turning off the computer, Su Yan stepped back into the Herta Space Station.

The instant he returned, a stream of information materialized in his mind, informing him that he had stepped onto the Path of the Trailblaze and become a Trailblazer, complete with methods for wielding the power of the Trailblaze.

“…Is it because of the door?”

Though it was an unexpected turn of events, Su Yan quickly deduced the reason.

More importantly, if the Path could detect him, being noticed by the Aeons was only a matter of time.

Few of the Aeons across the cosmos were entirely sane, and their attitudes toward outsiders remained an unknown variable.

Better safe than sorry…

Without hesitation, Su Yan summoned the system panel once more and began crafting another item.

Its effects were straightforward, centered around personal survivability: first, physical and mental protection; second, adaptive evolution; and third, regeneration.

Its form was that of a colorless prism, housed directly inside his body…

This consumed another twenty coins, leaving him with sixty.

With his safety secured, Su Yan relaxed considerably.

He stared at his remaining balance for a while, pondering whether he should craft a weapon, and if so, how it should be designed…

Conventional weapons were ruled out; Su Yan was just an ordinary person with no combat experience.

As for unconventional ones…

Having watched various fan-made parody videos over the past few days, Su Yan thought of the absurd weapons featured in them, which led to other franchises…

Dragon Balls, mechs, Herrschers, Ultraman, Kamen Rider…

“Man, I want them all…”

Glancing at his balance, Su Yan regained his composure and decided to make something versatile first.

After a moment’s thought, he recalled a certain Curio that had appeared in a parody video: the Fusion Gun.

Refining the concept, Su Yan brought the Fusion Gun into existence.

The moment the item was created, a brand-new concept flickered faintly across the cosmos.

Numerous Aeons sensed the nascent concept, each reacting with varying degrees of interest.

Safety was guaranteed, an escape route was established, and a special weapon was in hand…

Next was to begin exploring this new world.

Before setting off, however…

Su Yan turned his gaze toward the unconscious Stelle.

Finding a companion was essential.

“Hey!

Hey!

Wake up…”

He gently shook Stelle’s shoulder, trying to rouse her gently.

After a moment, Stelle opened her eyes, her hazy vision gradually clearing.

Looking at the stranger before her, she asked with a hint of confusion, “Who are you?”

“My name is Su Yan.

Just a traveler.

What about you?”

Su Yan introduced himself.

He truly intended to become a traveler, so the title fit well enough.

“My name is Stelle.

As for the rest…

I forgot…” Stelle looked even more bewildered.

“Amnesia?

We should find a doctor to check on you first.” Deciding not to pry, Su Yan offered some advice before changing the subject.

“I happen to be heading toward the Master Control Zone.

Want to come along?”

“Yes!” Sensing the goodwill in his voice, Stelle did not refuse.
